9:51 Wheein does that high note in ALL Decal live stages but people always mistook it as a backtrack since A- it sounds exactly like the studio version and B-the camera is not focused on her on this part and C- Her choreography here is when she's facing back from the audience so people barely see her belting this. It's sad. You have no idea how grateful I am for this performance because we can clearly see how much of a support Wheein is in the overall vocal performance of MMM

moonbyul actually had 3 years of professional vocal training before debuting as a rapper which explains why she has perfect pitch ;)) it also explains why she's so amazing
she wants to debut as a vocalist. but unfortunately/fortunately rap was given to her to learn and practice within 6 months.
Byul is not proven to have perfect pitch, also, perfect pitch can be acquired through rigorous training but 3 years of vocal training is insufficient to fully train your ears to develop it, especially since vocal training, as the name suggests, involves developing your vocal technique, and not training for a perfect pitch.
Solar, Wheein, and Hwasa both have attached hair. Almost all k-pop idols have attached hair just to make their hair look fuller when on shows. Moonbyul's hair is all real in this clip

Because before Wind Flower ends, it’s suppose to ber her part of “ohhh~~” something like that, so she almost do it that’s why she closed her mouth😂
4. Does Solar and Wheein have sub unit song?
Yes they do! They have song called Angel as they’re the Angel line in MAMAMOO. They perform that song in their concert. Same to Rapper Line, Moonbyul & Hwasa have their own sub unit song called Dab Dab. They uploaded the video on Mamamoo channel if I was not mistaken.

@@carminzira6234 I read from a commenter in the og vid, they said it's bc in new vid Dingo isolated their voices. In prev deleted vid, there's no isolation so their voices bounced at the wall, or something. I don't know much about that

Actually at no. 3 she closed her mouth because they were about to sing I Miss You which for her and wheein is one of the most hardest mmm song to sing because it has a lot of belting and high notes, that's also why she looked at wheein after closing her mouth then wheein said "Are you ready?"
All through Maria Hwa sa had back pain.

I think Hwasa's voice is tired. They released Aya and they started to promote Aya and Dingga. In one certain performance Hwasa really looked tired and i think it's because they work so hard on everything and they are too hard on themselves. And i think that's also why Wheein was in hospital, because of all those trainings and promotions. So yeah. And congrats on your light stick!
When they started their carreer, there was this pressure by the industry of sounding alike (think Wonder girls 2014 or Twice 2015) so for Mr. Ememoo, they tried to sound as equal as possible, with both Hwasa and Moonbyul trying to fit Wheein and Solar's tone and pitch. Later on, they were allowed (and celebrated!) by their different styles and voices (therefore the 4 colors project), so now we can distinguish them easily, but if you listen to their album Pink Funky, their pitch is so similar, sometimes it's hard to know who's singing (Moon's raps sounds different too).

As someone with perfect pitch myself I noticed that even when the other girls are goofing around and singing off key, Moonbyul is always on key when she jumps in, so I’m pretty convinced she has perfect pitch as well haha
ur so right about moonbyul's ear!! sis is super consistent with her intonation,,, like almost freakishly so!
also with hwasa's belt in i miss you...honestly she's pretty consistent with using the distortion in that part of the song in basically all the versions i've seen?? she tends to lay on the rasp on when she sings in that really chesty belt esp. 2014-2017 and honestly i tend to miss it when she doesn't at this point lol
tho i do agree that she sounds a bit more textured than normal today! hope she gets a lemon honey or two!

i think she's just really well trained and a seasoned performer now.
i don't think i have perfect pitch but i still never sound off when i sing and can match pitches really easily etc because i've had a lot of exposure to music since young. but yes, it's still very impressive because some singers still make mistakes here and there (not that it's a bad thing at all).

Yep Hwasa's voice is not in a really good condition right now because during her Maria era, she had a back injury, then promote with refund sister and then mamamoo's comeback. Anyway, my girls are so good ♥️♥️

Mamamoo have been known to be great singers ever since they debuted but they even got so much better over the years. I'm at awe whenever they sing their old songs because they sound better than before. It's crazy. These women are so talented!

Things I noticed in this video:
1) There is a fair amount of autotune. I normally don't like it because it makes them sound super robotic. I caught it fully on the beginning of Egotistic.
2) Hwasa's voice or technique might have changed over the years. Recently, I find her seem more tense in her singing, probably because of her stylistic "soulful" style, or maybe her voice is changing. She sounds airier now.
She might have a pathology that causes the natural airiness and rasp to her voice. Even in her singing this is evident, just becoming moreso in recent years. Maybe she has nodules.
