Just a tip. You should have the minerals out 24/7 for your goats. They will eat what they need. Just sprinkling the minerals into the feed they share probably won't be enough. 😊
I just love your little farm and having your parents there to help along with the kids is so sweet. Jamie is getting big and so cute. I love how Brielle is such a good helper feeding the animals. I was thinking at first that you were going to hand milk the cow. I didn't know that you named the horse,Clay. Cute name.

We picked up a giant non working deep freezer that we keep all the bags of food in. That way you don’t get critter 💩 in the food. You absolutely don’t want that. Your cows are freaking adorable!

A little fun fact : did you know that there’s a town in the Netherlands that called Brielle !
Hey Missy and Bryan, my parents are dairy farmers in New Zealand and we grew up walking calves on leads for calf and lamb days at school. A tip on making them walk is holding the lead right near the clip since it can control there heads more, also at the start someone can walk behind the calve and slightly push it when it doesnt walk. Also we would use rasians as a treat to guide them.

Clay looks so good! My grandma and grandpa owened a farm i alway loved it they sold it about 10 yrs ago they got to old to keep it up and my mom didn’t want to do it so sad but lots of memories

Add some sugar to your lactating cow. At our dairy farm we get loads of crushed Oreos and add it to the feed. They love it and she’ll thank you later 😂

So cool you have a farm! I was raised on the farm loved every minute of it! So much to do! I had to clean up the barn and the bruterhouse! We had a lot of cows to feed and chickens!
Get a compost bin for in the house so you can save your fruit and veggie scraps!!

Love y’all’s little homestead that’s starting to come together! I would invest in meat rabbits instead of cows for meat, meat rabbit reproduce very quick and are ready to be eaten in a couple of months versus cows you need to wait I couple of years until there ready! Also can’t wait until the garden starts to grow more! Hope the chickens don’t eat your garden 😅

You should get a better milk machine. They are more expensive but the cheep ones and strip out stuff from the udder that is not supposed to come out. The one you have is ok for emergency’s but I would recommend a better one. Congrats on the milk❤❤ I milk my goats and I love getting the milk!

Please please make sure you get your horse a friend! They need buddies and cannot be alone! Same for your cow! They are heard animals and need friends
Unless you plan to help them take care of these animals, it’s not your place to tell them what animals to get and how many.
Those kiddos are such good helpers! Do you plan on keeping Daphne for milk as well when she starts producing? Or will you just keep Daisy?
How do you guys mow all of your guises grass?
