Apparently it matters to some people: No, I don't have cheats enabled. The DEBUG messages seen in the text log are caused by something unknown to me. I never play with cheats enabled UNLESS I directly inform you of it. I have done so in the past and told you in that episode. The phrase "So I've enhanced our progression a little..." used to be a thing uttered a small amount on the channel when a series was becoming stale or too stagnant. But the point stands: I will tell you when cheats have been used. There is no point in me using cheats in Warband as it is, I have far too much experience in this game to need them. However, if usage of a certain command or cheat improves or benefits the series in some way, I'll tell you about it. :) Hope this helps to alleviate some worries people seemed to have about even the mere possibility that cheats were enabled (which they are not).
Don't get me wrong. I don't have anything against cheats at all, it is a singleplayer experience. However, for the sake of a series, I tend to not use them unless I say I have. For some inexplicable reason, certain people seem to get very upset about even the mention of cheats, kinda weird to me.
How dare you not cheat when it is your right to do so in a single player game when you tell us when you do! The shame of people who know better than you! Please, accept my disgrace of them all for always being the same negative Nelly's, who are unable to play the game the exact same way that you do, and always decry foul of everything that you do. Thanks for all your time and energy that you put into editing and recording all the uploads that you do!
You can farm honor by actually helping farmers clear bandits from their village. Then when they offer you goods even though bandits have stripped them down to their last grain, just refuse and tell them "you need it more than I do". Play nice, and the Universe may be nice to you. Radical concept I know.
This is so even in vanilla and although high honor is easy mode late game (as honorable vassals will be hassle free when you are the king) it kinda clashes with being a Lich. Also does the magic power/trainer skills go above lvl 10 (i mean they do but do they have a effective lvl 11+? Because on trainer it seems to cap on 10 on skill description anyway.)? And can you get that Lich king robe (i thought it was some kind of plate armor at first)? Also thanks Dude for putting in the effort to make a mod.
I'm afraid the fix to the volume of attacks with the staff didn't do much, if anything. It's somewhat fine at low mana levels with 2 or 3 bonus attacks, but at full mana and 7(?) simultanious attacks it's still insanely loud.
@@1Phosphor It has to be something on my end that causes the volume to escalate dramatically when a sound file is played multiple times simultaniously. I changed the volume to 1 and it makes no difference for me at maximum instances of bonus damage, even though I can only barely hear the sound effect when there are no bonus hits.
Not sure if you know about this or if this is the right place but,: if you fail the check to craft something (eg furs) it will sometimes fill every free space in your inventory with the item
@@Andrew-ss7jd Thanks. Not sure what todo about it, but sometime I can trace that. Kind of focused on getting the character export / import working at the moment. Its a big task.
Get ice storm as fast as you can and shoot it at the ground in front of groups of enemies, I have 12 magic power right now and I can wipe 10-20 enemies at a time with ice storm! Haste is your best friend and is a massive buff to friendly troops during sieges 👍 I use fireball to clear the walls during sieges and high level ice storm at big groups of enemies along with necromancy armies of like 300 skeletons. Necro mages are insanely powerful! Hahaha
Been watching the channel for years. Many a nights your soothing voice and enrapturing story telling put me to sleep. I find it weird that I am still playing such an old game but the gameplay loop is simply unmatched.
faction capitals have a higher chance of having each guild; every guild is rolled separately. Silk is cheapest at or near the drow capital. Dye is easiest to find near Jelkala. Yalen also has silks cheap, as they trade heavily with the drow. Reports: Party Size report gives some idea as to where the party size comes from currently. This is skewed a bit for Necromancers though, as some undead count as half a troop.
Might not be your cup of tea but i challenged myself in warsword conquest and made a wheel of all the factions and spun it and whatever faction i landed on i had to take over the entire map with its units/ equipment. Makes the game more challenging as you have to figure what troop comps are good and what sucks lol i got wood elves and had a blast
Mages should never be told to charge. Make a group for them and always keep them back as magic regenerates and they will always throw spells. Meanwhile their melee is garbage and they don't have good armor so you'll lose them if you tell them to charge in.
I'm sorry? What do you mean, they're not enabled? EDIT: If you're referring to the DEBUG messages in the text log, I have no idea why they're being displayed. I don't have cheats on.
Imagine being so bitter you're trying to shame someone on the internet for cheating and you are not 100% sure he did(which our good sir didn't)... I really feel sorry for you man I hope you find some purpose in life❤
This series is awesome. I am also a Necromancerstan. I haven’t touched Bannerlord in 4-5 months. Does anyone know why Reformist hasn’t been playing it? Lack of mods? That was my problem. Edit: if there’s any established M&B modders who watch Reformist. What’s the difficulty look like of putting backward compatibility into Warband using Bannerlords combat mechanics? Horses can charge through infantry etc. imagine these mods with those updated methods.
I wouldn't know what an established M&B modder looks like, and I don't have cash for bannerlord. My spouse controls my finances completely, allowing me to eat well and travel to the beach in about 3 weeks but not buy anything with a credit card. But to answer your question - I imagine the mounts are set to have a combination of warband itp_crush_through and itp_can_knock_down as "items", and that would be added to each mount at module_items.py Without those, Warband engine would halt at the first collision. If the target agent was knocked down, there may be no collision. Optionally, in mission_templates the routine special_mounts_attack could be widened to allow any mount the option to trample attack a knocked down/prone agent, with some more work. This is the opposite of polearm bracing, which should have attacked first, but I see these as the missing intermediate steps. Bannerlord seems to be a PITA to mod, compared to warband, but for me the barrier is I can't even get it. It's not like I can download a trial and get started modding. Perhaps when it next goes oin sale at steam... I mainly want to see from Bannerlord the ability to force psuedo-random number generation at every random dice roll, to synchronize all clients in a multiplayer environment so the results rolled on your PC match the results rolled on mine, without any handshaking with some dice rolling broker needed. But that's if real devs watched Reformist, which might happen on a boring day in Turkey.

I forgot to mention patch A6 is up now, fixing foremost the charged staves volume, plus some lesser changes :)

@@zimrothan9304 I will lower it again from the current 4 to a lower value. It was at 8. I suppose, since I can't hear it, I'll select 2.

I don't think I charged them? I thought I only charged the infantry.

Yes sir ! You never did the mod with the north and helped out robb stark maybe for a change keep him alive and something like that 🤔
By making some heads rolling with your amazing ex..axe hahaha
Bro you have cheats enabled.... shameful 😂😂😂
for modded games it's smart to have them enabled for when something inevitably gets stuck
He's been playing warband on this channel since 2013 can you really blame the man? I'd be wanting to spped through the series too
