  • My latest physical media pickups including the Basher Boxes from Pearl River and The Shaw Brothers from Arrow. I then show off some of the DVDs and Blu- Rays I intend on selling.

I use to do a lot of buy, sell, trade on just about anything,i built regular clients,im haven't done anything since 2012, What I'm working on these days is showing movies in my backyard on projector, get some movie goers to stop by, there's even enough room in the back lot to have little drive in theater.if i was in your neighborhood,id buy your movies and premiere for our block.

Thanks for the feedback! That’s encouraging. I really want to set up my projector in my backyard and watch some movies with my son. I’ll make a video about it when I get the chance. 👍

Since I consider myself a collector of physical media, I rarely ever get rid of anything I buy because I like having different releases for the titles I own. I have several titles where I originally picked it up on blu-ray, then 4k or UHD (or both!). Other times I had one or more franchise titles and later picked up a box set. In some cases, I could definitely make a bit of money selling those older releases because they're long out of print and people will pay top dollar to get them. But I don't sell them because I just want to have them in my collection! It's just the way I am I guess! But I do know several people who only keep one copy of each title and sell their older copies when they upgrade or find a better release. Nothing wrong with that either!

@@NeonBlackReviews Thanks for the feedback Neil! I totally get that - I have a few films like The Thing on multiple formats and I’ll hold onto them forever. I don’t have much older stuff except for my Star Trek 2 VHS still in the plastic. (Should’ve kept more from that era!)

@@mr.danandhorror4230 there was one exception! A couple of years ago I had the blu-ray for the remake of Black Christmas (2006) and saw that it was going for stupid money, so I sold it on eBay for $200 lol. I figured that was too much of an opportunity for a so-so remake I'll probably never watch again! Plus, I needed some more Argento and Fulci in my collection and that $200 would pay for some of it!

Thanks Again for the recommendations Dan, now this is my dilemma as well, how to get rid of some doubles or stuff that didn’t “make the shelf” I keep the plastic on all my movies until I watch them, it’s something I’ve always done so if I catch it on Tubi and didn’t like it I can sell it to a new person that might love it. But your right Hamilton Book is the best. Hope you had a great holiday my friend. Take care.

Thanks Kenny - yeah I only took the plastic off of about 1/3 of my last Hamilton Book order so I’m getting better with not accumulating doubles.

Well you gotta keep the original plastic wrap, it's kinda hard to keep it intact sometimes, put its the DVD's home (like a turtle shell) and it keeps the dust away...

I cant bring myself to get rid of a movie in the collection if I buy a new release or video format... the only times I get rid of a disk is when I buy a double cause I'm a moron and didnt notice I already owned it, or if I find a nicer disk to replace a scratched one...

@@profesormacabro Exactly - I’ll review the 3 movie Made in Hong Kong set I got recently but suffice it to say I didn’t like any of the films but will I sell it or get rid of it? It does have a good 10 minute documentary so probably not.

Vci is a good label. How is the picture quality on them? I go to flea markets and thrift stores. I usually have extras, but keep them to give away or trade. Great video Dan.

So far the quality is pretty solid- I just got my first order directly from them and watched a Mexican horror film last night - really good quality and special features for the price. Thanks Jason.
