Hellooo. As I am going to study in sg next year, I wonder how the part time jobs work there. Do they give advanced training or smth? Cause I am afraid that I might end up messing things up since I have no experience. And thank you for sharing your poly student life, it is really helpful for me.
So, generally, if you have a valid student pass and you're from one of the 5 gov polys, you can just apply (if you're going to poly). For part-time work in F&B, you'll legally need a Food Hygiene Certificate (FHC). This is my first ever part-time job, so my experience is limited to how this particular stall handles training. I had to go through a trial day to see if I could be hired, and once I passed, I got the job and learned on the job during the initial stages.
