I ordered a 2023 Acura RDX A-Spec, set to be delivered next month. I'm so excited, I managed to grab one for MSRP but the interest rate is 6% so I put down 50% to pay it off quicker so the rate is negligible. Thanks for the thorough review!

Congrats. We did a very similar transaction but we couldn't wait for the 2023's since the Jeep lease ended Sept 30th. What color did you get the A-Spec ?

Very spiffy. The lights and Grille actually give them a lot of road presence. Plus it has all the gadgets which is nice.

Nice video. I just got a 2023 RDX Advance and I’m loving it. Such a great car. Pure pleasure to drive.

Premium recommended, but not required. I have a 2021 RDX Advanced and I use regular. There’s a slight MPG loss and performance is a bit slower. I’ll use premium if I’m going to do a long highway trip.

I just picked up an rdx technology shawd in the same color with a dark chocolate interior. 62000 miles on the clock, well maintained, looks like it was a single persons vehicle. I don't have a cordless charger but that's about it. 28,000 out the door.
Best handling suv for the price. Luxury equal to mercedes and audi. Reliability, it's a honda. 😅

My wife and I have been waiting now for 7 months because of her wanting the Advance with Silver exterior and Gray Stone interior. It is being built in OHIO specifically for us right now. Expect delivery at the end of this month
We started with 2.9 interest. It is now around 6 percent interest. Dealer will also likely offer us less then the 16 thousand dollars trade in for my 2014 Venda Limited with 74 thousand miles.
So I can only hope the added cost from 7 months ago will be worth it.
Hope you make one more video 3 weeks from now to really let me know how you feel about the car. Cheers

Hi There, what made you u choose RDX over X3? We would be considering this car, along with X3 in a few months… would definitely stay tuned with your RDX updates. Thanks!

    • @GlennsCarCollection

My wife choose this over the X3 because it was cheaper with comparable options. Leather standard on this model, fake leather on the Beemer. The X3 would handle better and accelerates faster

Just got my 2023 Acura Advance and love it; But why two park breaks is beyond my comprehension. Especially when I might unknowingly turn on the one on the driver side with my left knee as I get into my car or when my left knee rubs against the driver side park break; turning it on as I am reaching in my back pocket to get my wallet to pay at a McDonalds drive through.
    Cheers

IMHO< this is a relatively poor review. Glen, you state too many times to have your viewers to correct you if You are wrong? I have 22 MDX Advance, which is the way I elected to go. The RDX DOES have the Auto Dampeners on the suspension in all models but the Base one. Acura in it's infinite wisdom Did NOT include the Auto Dampeners on the new 22 MDX in America!! Yes, in Canada, but not in America.. That's truly incredible for a car at $62K. I drove the 21 RDX when I was shopping.... I really liked it. The 22 RDX has had some updates over the 19, 20, 21. I found it to have some slight Turbo Lag, and the seats in my 22 MDX are more comfortable than the RDX ( I have a bad back that I felt would not help me on longer trips). But it does feel very Peppy , and handles very well. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the Auto Dampeners...Look it up. They change the dampening of the struts / shocks in Nano seconds and do affect the ride - very effective. You did not comment on the TTIP - Touch Pad InfoT. Even after 15 months of ownership, I still yearn for a Touch Screen and some Buttons !! That InfoT system is still a subjective thing being argued on all review sites.
One other thing that surprises me with the RDX - even in the Advance Model (which would be the model I would Pick)- they don't include Power Steering Wheel control. That's a real Chinzy Move IMO. I've had that feature on all my cars since 2007 Infiniti G35X , 2010 Infiniti G37X, 2013 Infiniti M37X {a very good and highly Under rated car], 2013 QX60, and my Acura MDX 2019. They all include Auto Entry and Exit systems which worked with the memory settings to push the seat back all the way for exit, and then once you start the car, moves the seat , mirrors, and steering wheel to the memorized settings. You know what they say: Once You Have Steak, it's hard to eat Hamburger.
