Sam, a couple of electrical tips for you and other viewers:
1. Code requires the sheathing (or jacket) of romex cable to be stripped back within 1/4" of entry into a junction box. Additionally, there needs to be at a minimum of 3" of conductor length that can project outside the box. This allows the conductors to have more ability to conform within the confines of the box, It also makes it much easier to work with the wiring.
2. Wrapping the receptacle is a great tip, especially for metal boxes where there is potential for the receptacle to short against the box if opened with a live circuit.
3. Wrapping the repurposed conductors (white in your case) with tape is also code compliant, but instead of wrapping the entire conductor like you did, only wrap a few loops around the conductor spaced about 6 inches apart (on long conductors). The way you have it would lead someone to think it's a damaged cable that has a temporary repair (and not code compliant) and prompt them to remove the tape to inspect the conductor. If you already have a black wire in the box, wrap the repurposed conductor in another color of tape (red, orange, blue, etc. but not green) to eliminate confusion.
4. Flexible plastic conduit (we call it "Smurf Tube" because, well, it's smurf blue!) should really not be used for high voltage or line voltage cabling because it is easily crushed or damaged. Rigid, EMT, BX (armor cabling), flex, or even watertite flex would be a better choice.
5. The mounting point for the 220v receptacle for the table saw is too low. NEC requires all receptacles to be installed 18" AFF (above finished floor) or below 5'6" with an exception for dedicated single outlets above 5'6". The junction box at the ceiling is fine as long as you don't install a receptacle there, and instead branch off to another location.
6. Depending on the power requirements for the table saw, that 12 gauge romex may not be adequate to carry the necessary amperage. I did notice that the receptacle was a 20 amp, so you should be fine, but double check the circuit requirements for the saw. If it requires a 30 amp circuit, you will need to replace that with 10 gauge. 12 gauge wiring can only be used on a 20 amp circuit that does not require a dedicated neutral. A 20 amp circuit with neutral would need to be 10 gauge.
The reasons for me posting this is help others watching the video, and perhaps yourself, to stay safe. electrical work isn't that difficult, but there is a lot that goes along with it to stay safe and make it last a long happy life.

A few points:
1. NEC requires a minimum of 1/4in. of sheathing inside the box. It is good practice to strip the sheathing back to this point. At least 6in. of free conductor extending at least 3in past the face of the box is required.
4. ENT, (smurf tube) can be used for line volt wiring, but not subject to physical damage. I agree EMT or Sch. 80 PVC would be a better option here.
5. The NEC has no such requirement that I know of, otherwise floor receptacles would be noncompliant. I believe that you are thinking of ADA rules. There are maximum heights for certain receptacles , however.
6. The 3HP PCS has a nameplate of 13A @240V. 12AWG on a 20A breaker is adequate. I am not familiar with the requirement of 10AWG if you require a neutral other than some job specs. I'd be interested in a citation of that requirement.

@@matthewrichards5941 Thanks for the callout. On point 5, I do agree after reviewing your comment that there is no minimum height requirement and I was confusing ADA requirements. I was also thinking about basements and concrete unfinished floors and whether it should GFCI protected or not.
On point 6 I was considering if this had the potential to be a multi-branch circuit or not, and the derating due to the length of the run, since he has a junction point at the ceiling in the garage. I could not find a reference for my statement about a dedicated neutral requiring 10AWG wiring, and really don't know why I said that. I was in error.
Not an electrician, just a home owner that gets frustrated trying to figure out what breaker controls what outlet/switch. I have started marking inside the cover plate of my outlets/switches of what breaker to flip to turn it off with a sharpie. Makes life SOOO much easier in the future so you are not running back and forth testing if its still live.
Hot tip! Going to do this for all the electric in the house.

I’ve been doing this with everything for probably 5-10 years now. If you want something like that saw, go to woodcraft or whatever and pay for it there. They will call you when it’s in. You go pick it up and inspect it then. That way, it’s not yours to return or even deal with. It also doesn’t sit on your porch if it’s something smaller I guess. If it looks like a forklift drove into it, don’t bring it home. 😂
Glad to see you making progress. As a fellow one car garage shop guy, who initially built a miter saw station. I removed mine after a year. Personally I found it much easier, with the limited space, to have my miter saw on a quick collapse wheeled base. Now all of my tools are on wheels along the wall where the miter saw station used to be, and i can swing them in and out accordingly. Just some food for thought.
It's called phasing when you wrap a wire in tape to change it's color/purpose. that was smart of you to do that for future opening of that box. You could have used 12/3 Romex that has a red sheeted wire as a second conductor. For fishing that Romex in the conduit, you could have run the wire in it straight at first or you could have used a more flexible fish tape or line and pulled it through. I hope we get to see that saw in the next one! Keep it up, Sam!
On your back wall. Instead of taking everything out, why not build a sliding tool wall so you can still have the storage behind it? Doubles as storage and a video idea.

Also not an electrician but I would add a strain relief connector at the panel for where the romex comes in.

Bummer about the saw. Pretty sure you cannot run Romex through any kind of conduit (flexible or not).
If your are going to try and phase tape the second phase of the 220 volt plug, please do it right and use red tape, not black
