  • This is a quick how-to video on how you install a 2 5/8 Attometer boost gauge into one of your factory vents in a MK1 Audi TT. The install was fairly easy, just a little time consuming. With the 2 5/8 gauge, you do NOT need to spend any money on any special adapters, it fits right in, with no gaps, and looks great! Looks like it would have come from the factory. Hopefully this video helps someone out! Like and subscribe!

    Thanks I just used your video to do mine. I never would have found that little hole into the engine bay on my own!

    What radio did you install? Trying to find a Double did screen to fit

    • @937wigger
      @937wigger  8 років тому

      Jensen VX7010, it was a flip out "double din" since an actual double din won't fit for obvious reasons, fit perfect though!

    Is this a vacuüm meter or boost pressure meter?

    • @937wigger
      @937wigger  8 років тому +2

      Both. Vac is on on side, boost is on the other, lol most traditional boost gauges :)

    the one i bought didn't come with any hoses for some fucking reason, whats that plastic piece on the T fitting, do you think id be able to buy it anywhere els besides from them?

    • @937wigger
      @937wigger  8 років тому

      Haha shit happens man. I think if you go to autozone or something you should be able to get that piece in a little autometer vacuum hose kit, OR just buy a set of small vacuum fittings that usually come in a pack of 10 assorted ones, and one of em will generally work! Hope this helps brother!

      +Lucas Nogueira yeah man I ordered mine from Jegs, they have a bunch online on eBay as well, usually for between $50-$100. Don't pay much more than that, I mean after all it is just a basic mechanical gauge.

      Go down to your local pets store. Fish tank hose works great, also great for bleeding brakes since it's clear and you can see the bubbles. ;)

    Plugging boost gauge to the FPR is not recommended. Why not DV? The DV to inlet manifold line or boost hose from the boost pipe after turbo to N75 valve.
