... okay, honestly? Sometimes I turn the water on first then go get my clothes so the water has a chance to get hot, but then again I can kind of afford to do that because the bathroom is right next to our bedroom. I dunno what the situation was or how far the bathroom was from her bedroom here. 100% true about those dishes, though! Like, if it's a single plate and piece of cutlery I MIGHT just let the water run (Again, mostly so it has a chance to warm up), but more than that? Naw! Even though I have a well, who's to say it's gonna last forever and not dry up? This was 100% my mom growing up. NOTHING I did was right, but she also never taught me beforehand and then decided to try and 'teach' while mocking me and with an attitude, then she'd lose her patience, shove me aside and just be like, 'Move, I'll do it, you can't do anything!'. It's like... just teach me in the first place and don't berate me and discourage me while you're doing it, is that so much to ask?

sometimes the water do take almost a minute to get hot and I like my water steaming.
