Kinda sad they removed khun's inner monolouge "how dare they separate me and bam? Do they have brains? Also how did that crocodile pass" or something. This isnt word by word
Lol that line made me chuckle in the Webtoon. Crunchyroll be adding KhuBam content of their own accord, but ignoring the stuff already given to them, haha.
Fun fact the training we saw took place over a month. Making friends was just one of the scouts test. Essentially in the tag game both team A and B have to pick an IT from among the fishemen first team A will either have to try and take the tag from the Ranker(whose shinshu is very limited we will only see around 1%) or they have to help there tag escape. Then team B will try it. Even if your team fails the test you can still pass as the ranker will grade you based on your performance or if you are already close to passing and just need a few points to pass.
Regarding qualifying to pass the test: The test isnt like you pass the assignment, and then youre over with it, and then you have the final test that you win or dont. Its rather that they collect points though their evaluation based on which they will qualify for final position selection. So yeah Hatz and Shibisu passed their assignment and probably got good results, but e.g. Endorsi and Anaak failed theirs so they have to get more points in this test. That is why Shibisu says he "doesn not know exact numbers" (Bams evaluation so far) and Khun responds "Bam will fail", because the wave controllers on their team would get 100-200k points, so Bam would fail. Also regarding Rak, here it is only said that he passed, but in the webtoon their examiner told them that whoever hits the far target withi 4 days passes the test immediately (like they already qualified for final positioning with that cause its really hard to do so), its left out in anime. Also the final test isnt just win or lose, LeroRo said they will be evaluated based on their individual performance, and if the win - they all get 100k (if they reach goal) or 200k (if they steal Rankers badge). Im gonna add some notes from the webtoon in reply, its not really a spoiler and it explains their dynamics better, but just in case Ill label it as Webtoon since its not mentioned in anime.
WEBTOON CONTENT (Points and positioning): . . . . . . So basically what anime left out was or will drop(?) - first - there is a limited number of places per position. So even if they all do well, not all of them will qualify. I believe this explains eg Hohs position better, since Lauroe is already strong, if Bam or someone else ranks better, he wont pass the test. - second - some members were picked as "Best Seed" based on the evaluation from previous test - best person per test was picked, and those regulars would get bonus points in final positioning. Anaak, Khun, Shibisu, its not noted on which tests but I persume Anaak (first test), Khun (Crown game), Shibisu (Clock room). I think this way it is better to understand how regulars rank on this evaluation test, and who has better chances to pass or not. And it is more clear, eg when Shibisu says if their team wins, Bam would fail - since their team has Lauroe who is already probably well evaluated, and maybe other two wave controlers on Khuns team have higher scores than Bam.
Sometimes I wish I never read the webtoon so I could enjoy the anime. Not saying anime is bad but some scenes from webtoon are essential to the plot and anime changed them the way it creates massive plotholes. The beauty of the TOG webtoon is it's huge world with different interractions between dozens of characters without almost any plotholes. I am a little sad but I hope the will manage to adapt the rest of they chapters greatly.
Webtoon reader here too, though I was anime-only first. Here's my suggestion. Consider them two completely DIFFERENT things. Let the adaptation stand on its own and the webtoon stand on its own. It was never going to be a 1:1 carbon copy, so let go of the expectation that it will be. The anime might even go in directions the webtoon never did and that's OK. There are no plot holes or missing "essential" things, because the anime is its own thing. It will get to what it thinks it needs to in its own time. Constantly comparing back and forth will do nothing but bring you misery as well as annoy others from having to hear you complain about it. Honestly, you should be grateful you even got an adaptation in the first place.
I'm cool with it after accepting the fact it is now 2 different thing and not a 1:1 adaptation. Mind you I've read this webtoon like 3 times from start to finish.
@@justjuniorjaw It really depends on what you want to get out of this series. If you want an intriguing shonen battle series the adaptation will hit all the right notes. However the anime is leaving out a lot of the nuances and thematic threads in the original webtoon. I can enjoy the ToG anime in terms of an action show. However it feels extremely lacking if I go in expecting a philosophical angle to it. It lacks the melancholy exploration of deeper themes present in the webtoon. Mind you that I understand why anime chose to to this direction as it was the original reason I read to begin with, not only that but the themes I alluded to completly went over my head the first time reading ToG. The anime is fun to watch, but I can't help but worry about whether or not it will have the lasting impact on me the way the webtoon did.
@@zcpl1727 those things can honestly start in Season 2 if the anime decides to do that. Make everything move at like 1/2 or 3/4 of Season 1 pace and finally make Season 2 a long one.
@@justjuniorjaw I agree. Personally I think season 2 could be split into 2 25 to 26 episode seasons, one ending with the workshop battle and the the other with the whole of the Hell train.
the thing that Shibisu did it was just a homework for scout class to get the point but in spear class the teacher said that whoever hit that far target pass the test. he meant this joint training test
Hey Jojo, great review! To clarify a few things, Rak and the other dude passed because the spear bearer teacher gave them the oporunity to pass if they hit a REALLY faraway target, and so just Rak and the other dude did it, the rest of the spear bearers failed(all this is explained in the manwha). And in regards to the game of Tag, basically there are three "IT", with 1 being a Fisherman of Team A, another one being a Fisherman of Team B and the last IT being the Test admin Quant. Now each team will have a round each to earn points, and the way to earn points are as follows, doing well individually regardless of your teams outcome, letting your IT escape the building wihtout before Quant(the admin IT) catches your him, and by catching Quant's badge. Of course all those objectives have different levels of difficulty, so letting your IT escape nets your team 100,000 points while catching Quant's badge nets your team 200,000 since regulars actually catching a Ranker is almost impossible(which is why Quant gets hella mad, he takes it as an insult that they went for him instead of trying to escape). Hope that helped!
Bamm is an irregular....no given talent or anything....i dont think the anime has done a good job to make you understand what irregulars are so far....there's a reason one of the strongest princesses came down just to see Bamm...... irregulars are just that dayum unique. They did a great job with Hoh this episode...showed some gritty backstory.
In the manwha we don't have a clear view of irregular powers or what they are either untill later, yes they said that irregulars are strong but it hasn't been shown yet, the manwha just do almost the same
@@pabloalejandro06 my thought was pointed out towards jojo's response as to him thinking bam is a princess son. Like lets not forget he's an irregular.
@@shadelightss yes but thats season 2, on season 1 as the anime goes irregular's powers are not really shown perse, yes we see bam's shinshu explosion thing and talent but not more than that, for now they only talk about it on the anime, and kinda show it, i was trying to keep it on anime stuff only thou
@@drakesacrum8445 Oh dear... *pulls out chair* *takes a semi-sarcastic british teacher tone* *opens book* You see my friend the joke here is a pun on two levels. First on the deeper level there is a reference to the rather untasteful way the character Hoh was acting during the episode. Of course there is also the very surface level play on words between the name of the character Hoh and the slang that is attributed to the people who practice the oldest job of the world. That slang is now more attributed to people who act in a very underhanded two-faced unsavory way tying the double level meaning mentionned earlier. All in all it is a very simple almost cheap joke but one that can be appreciated nonetheless. *Closes book* I hope that this explanation has given you some clarifications and helped you understand this joke.
I think it would be hard for Bam to be the son of a princess of Jahad simply because he comes from outside the tower unlike all the others characters. The princesses of Jahad are chosen from people born in the tower (from one of the 10 great families to be more exact), they might not even know an outside world exists. It would be interesting if it is so tho
Diana Anamaria Lung jahad is also from outside the tower . Bam back story in the manga it’s half done but until you will get to this part it will at take least 100+ episodes
Spoilers So originally there were 12 great warriors that climbed the tower with Jahad. 2 of them are Bam's parents His mother is Arlene Grace and his father is named V. Jahad was in love with Arlene, but she was in love with V. When the Jahad empire reached the 134th floor, Jahad decided to stop climbing, which made Arlene and V pissed of, so they rebelled, which is why Jahad hid every info about them to make it look like they never existed. They eventualy got married and had a son. When Jahad found out about it he traveled to the 43rd floor and killed their child. After the death of her child and later her husband, Arlene searched for a way to leave the tower, and found it. She made a deal or something with an outside god so that her child would be revived, enter the tower once again and kill Jahad and finish climbing the tower, which probably is going to happen, mostly because of how the world of TUS that the TOG story is set in works, so that the future is already set in place and cannot be changed. Anyhow V is dead and Arlene is alive somewhere because she was granted immortality by the guardian of the 100th floor with the other 9 out of the twelwe great warriors.
For anyone confused about the game of tag basically there are two teams A and B plus one test administrator. Each team has one member with a badge who is it and the test administrator is also it. The two teams will take the test one at a time with the test administrator. To win a team has to either make their it go out of the structure without them losing their badge or steal the badge of the test administrator. The test administrator's goal during the test is of course to take the badge of the team he's facing. An advantage that the first team to face the test administrator has is that depending on their performance they can seriously hinder the other team.
Hoh character development is being cut down a lot in anime. In the webtoon we can clearly his spiral from super nice guy to insanity and make us aware how much the Tower can change one person.
The friend list thing was funnier in the webnovel. Actually, everything funny is most likely taken from the webnovel or was tuned down to make it shorter for the anime. I get that they skip a ton of stuff for a twelve episode season to end with the first season of the webnovel. Well, as long as they don't cut essential stuff, although they did confuse some stuff with the characters, which it seems they fixed in this episode. Second season gonna be awesome!
[not spoiler] The only team that had a "do this and you pass the entire position test" was spear bearers. The "tag" test is the final test of the position test. The scouts (shibisu etc) only had an assignment to get friends, just like wave controllers (bam) had to practice shinsu manipulation.
About the Tag game, i was confused even when reading the Webtoon. I had to reread a couple more times to get it. But I actually suck at understanding ToG games, so I don't know if it's actually that hard to understand.
Yeah, ToG Games are really confusing untill you see them on action, thats why i just don't pay to much attention to the explanation in the manwha either XD
@@pabloalejandro06 the anime felt like it did a better job, maybe because I already had preconceived notions and seen the test already in action. Yeah , thats probably why.
So I think what shibisu and hatz did was more akin to homework. Something you can make you fail but doesn't count all that much to the final grade. What rak passed (this was more clear in the manuha) was a special challenge test. The spear bearers were given a stupidly hard target to hit. Failing to hit it didn't mean you failed the test because it's more of a bonus test on the same vein as the crown game
Something you don't see in the anime is the conversation between bam and the teacher and the first time bam uses Shinsu. First time bam uses shinsu is Hoh, laroue and bam being in the class room and hoh saying he is not talented, and laroue agrees, but bam is being his kind self and disagrees, so laroue tells bam to hold out his hand and imagine a world being created in his hand and thats how he first summons shinsu and laroue goes "Thats talent". The teacher sceene is where he is talking to bam telling him that it took him 2 years to manifest his first bang after he learned to use shinsu, and he was called a genius, so he asks bam "What should i call you then, super genius?" bam is growing at an insane rate compared to people right now. its little bits like this i wish they would have added to really show just how much it matters and why peoples view are the way they are.
yes that part was actually really improtant. especially because hoh was actually trying to be nice to bam until bam made a bang with little instruction from lauroe. bam easily managed what hoh spent years training to do. and the talk about forming more then one bang at the same time and how it affects combat between shinsu users is left out too
Regarding Tag game, probably others explained it well, but it doesnt hurt to repeat: Team A and B do not compete directly, so look at it like team A does the test, and then team B does the exact same test. There are two "ITS" in test - one from regulars team that they pick (but it has to be fisherman position), and the opposing "IT" is the Ranker, and they both wear the badge. There are two ways to win (escape or catch the ranker), so here are possibilities: 1. IT-Regular manages to reach goal (one of two exit points): WIN - all team members get 100.000 points 2. Regulars steal/press IT-Rankers badge: WIN - all team members get 200.000 points 3. IT-Ranker steals/presses IT-Regulars badge: LOSE - not additional points, but regulars will be evaluated based on their individual performance When team A is done, then team B does the same exact test.
not really any episode has, which is nice, but its going a little to fast. Animes should be limited to 12/13 episodes or 24-26 episodes. Some don't follow that but it fell like many animes are forced into a pace thats ruined them.
I actually looked for more KhuBam! moments this episode, and of course there were. Especially when Khun got annoyed with Shibisu hugging all over Bam. lol
basing off the anime, as far as we are aware once you enter the tower, there is no going out, and we know Bam is an "irregular" meaning he comes from outside the tower, but princesses are inside the tower
Btw telling people that princess of jahad inherits he's power is missleading. Power of a princess is just a blood of jahad that was injected into a person and that person's body adapted to it and become stronger bcs if body don't adapt or can't that person will die. So princess of jahad is a person powerfull enough to be able to stand injecting herself with blood of jahad and survive, and at the end of that process their body is becoming more powerfull then before. That's said they don't inherit any of jahad powers or perks.
Yeah this is the point where manga/webtoon readers start getting on my nerves because the anime doesn't come up to their expectations so they trash the show.
really like this week as well! but honestly a bit dissapointed we didn't get/see more of the explanation/rules for shinsu, as there are a few important bits of info about shinsu that are explained during bams training scenes and these scenes were sadly cut out! love the anime, just bummed they aren't highlighting the power system as much or as well as I had hoped.
Spoiler-ish Actually i can't bring myself any scene where they reffer to anything but the "number of Bangs" as an importand use of the power system thou, maybe i am wrong
@@pabloalejandro06 thats important when the say the ranker quant is limited on shinsu its because he can only use one bang which comes up in the tag game in the webtoon. he clouds himself in darkness to hide from the light of the light houses. and later he does it again and the regulars are confused thinking he's already used his one bang earlier but then they realized he maintained the same bang this whole time to keep using that shinsu skill. and thats why later when he's at the bottom of the bridge he cant get up on his own because he already used his limited one bang on a different shinsu skill. a lot of nuance the anime is leaving out about how shinsu works and is used strategically in the tower
10:59 the anime might've left it out, but there's only a limited amount of people who're allowed to pass the test, if any. So, in the Webnovel, for the wavecontroller position only 2 are supposed to pass the test. As seen before, Lauroe is considered to be one of the successful candidates due to his exceptional skill, while Baam is showing good potential. So, Hoh has no choice but to be jealous of Baam.
It’s like tag because all they have to do to win is to touch the rankers badge and each team faces him in separate matches . Btw the rankers power is limited so he is like less than 1% of his actual power
not really quant is just limited to one bang use. which is very important but quant is still incredibly strong. its just he has to choose how to use his one bang. shinsu body reinforcement would slaughter the regulars so he used a trick to hide in darnkess instead. but if he hadn't he would'nt have been bothered by kuhns trick at the end but he used up his bang to show off
The Tag game is still under the Positions test. For the spearbearers, they were given a special testduring the training with a condition that if they passed, they would pass the entire Positions test. But such a test was not given to the other positions. The friendship making test was just a regular training
the rules for tag is basically this; you have three "it" people, two Regulars randomly chosen and Quant who is the Administrator's "it". both team's "it" are trying to run to the goal without being caught by Quant. but at the same time the teams are trying (or can try it is a separate option) to catch Quant. so in this case Quant has to catch both team's Fisherman, Anaak (Team A) and Endorsi (Team B) before they reach the goal without being caught by Team A or B.
Well Endorsi saying she had received a good behaviour from old Anaak when she became a Princess was not a part of Original Story, I mean it was never mentioned in Webtoon. It was added in the Anime and I don't know what calculations they made to put that info there because its not accurate. It'll make Endorsi much muxh older than Anaak but that's not the case, so it was an wrong choice of info modification.
I love when antagonist dont are just "oh they're assholes, or evil..." They have motives and reasons(even if only makes sense to them) but of course still are the antagonist
As a webtoon reader, I think this episode was good for anime only fans. But only because they don't know what they missed out on. :( :( :( I know people are getting upset at webtoon readers getting upset. XD So I won't comment more on that. I enjoyed the episode for what it was.
agreed im tired of pointing out all the anime's failings, but man i was so excited to see kuhn's plan in action but all the ambushes were rushed and felt too simple compared to the strategic close call quant had in the webtoon. feels lie they completely failed their ambush and weren' even close in the anime
I think the webtoon explains a lot of these fights and tests much better than the anime does. I highly recommend reading it alongside the anime to clear up confusions! I do like the anime in some aspects. Some scenes, especially character interactions are better done animated. I love how they handled the scene of Anaak and her mother in the anime. The original webcomic version of that scene wasn't as great in my opinion. I'm about halfway into the webcomic and I can promise you that it only gets better from here!
for the spear berrer they said (webtoon i dont know about the anime) that if they hit the target they pass the whole test since the training was made so they know more on the tag test and for the scouts making nine friends does not mean that they are a good scout
@@IreneShardaForever well thats ur lack of understanding the wbtoon laid it out just fine. the anime just glossed over the explanation lie so many other things
actually no spoilers are allowed whatsoever the only thing that is allowed is comparisons between the webtoon and the show only so long as what you are talking about has already been covered
@@TheFirstEvilOk Jojo specifically asked for all spoiler-y content to be flagged. I get that spoilers shouldn't be here, but nonetheless a lot of the comments are borderline spoilers.
Shibisu and Hatz got more points thanks to their thing but Rak and Ghost's test specifically said that if they hit the target, they'd pass without question
Remember that they said in the last episode that the instructor of the Spearbearer's said that the ones that manages to break the target, they will pretty much aced the class, while the other's stil are just getting points based on their test
In the webtoon Laure is very intrigued by Baams talent and teaches him. It was said that Baam had actually found his pillow but it is more curiousity for him, as Laure himself is sure to pass with his skills.
no in the webtoon bam finds his pillow too and decides to give bam some tips. while lauroe is interested in bam's talent. he still really doesnt do anything extra unless he's given a reason which usually involves his blanket and pillow
@@chriscrookham3340 He literally made his team lose in the game of tag because of this curiousity. Baam made a baang on his first try, while it took a genius like Ren 2 years to create his first. Laure also knows this is extraordinary.
@@myrdin9216 yes but lauroe didnt help team a fail just because of bam. guaranteed kuhn bribed lauroe somehow and because it oesnt matter to lauroe he probably came out on top. he gets to see bams growth, got to sleep through most of the test which was 3 hours long, and probably got something expensive from kuhn since they where suppose to mention how kuhn stole a bunch of stuff from his dad's treasure warehouse. so lauroe aint doing it just because he's curious about bam, thats only a minor part. but his character is literally he gives no shits as long as he can sleep, we seriously dont even know why he's climbing the tower. hes powerful enough to just live in the outer tower and sleep his days away
@@myrdin9216 actually just reread the part. lol kuhn just bothers him by getting under his blanket and lauroe cant sleep alone so kuhn literally just bugged him enough till he agreed by getting cozy with lauroe its great. since he was gonna pass anyway and was slightly curious about bam anyway
"First person to climb the tower", it can be a bit confusing because even though they phrase is like that in the WT and the anime it doesn't mean reaching the top.
Flag football is a more accurate description, but each team has only 1 flag(Badge) and 1 team is just Quant. The regular team can win by either tagging Quant's badge or having the one with the badge reach one of the exits in the arena.
For tag, the team’s ’it’ (Team a was Anaak) has a badge and need to get to the finishing area without having her badge touched. Quant was the administrators ’it’ who needs to touch the other ‘it’ (Anaak)’s badge while testing the other teammates. The team has the option of touching Quant’s badge to win with extra points.
@@quincyquincy4764 1. What is Lesso. 2. It's the explanation of the test just reworded to help him understand. There is literally no spoilers in this whatsoever.
I understand your reasoning for kinda thinking anaaks mom is alive because thats what I first thought but last episode when Khun was in his light house, he was looking up anaak jahad and as far as the system says, she's dead
I'm just gonna say that your "theory about bam being a son of a princess of jahad" can't be so real. cuz bam is a irregular, that means that he come from the outside of the tower. just a little amount of guys knows the outside tower and a even smaller amount has leaved the tower. there's no way that a princess of jahad that is educated severely knows the outside world and even how to escape the tower. hope this helped :)
Right now we don't really know a lot about irregulars. Comparing Baam with the princesses is very much logical. I'm a webtoon reader but I'm sticking with the formation provided by the anime
when did it say the king of Jahad gives power to Jahad princesses? It doesn't, I don't know if he does or not but from what we heard we can actualy assume something different. The king of Jahad picks them and they probably already grew strong on their own.
Peacefinder Simply endorsi gives a whole monologue about it in their fight. She even says “Annak” is lucky because she got to be born with power just by being annak’s daughter.
@@kamronspencer4910 that doesn't sound like that either, I went back and watched it, but I got something entirely different. Its genetic, is what I got, remember the king is picking these people as to show off and doesn't want that to spread around.
Peacefinder Simply the king picks people who already have some skill. Usually these people are from great families but he doesn’t limit his choices to these families entirely and then he gives them some of his power. Once they’ve been given this power they aren’t allowed to have kids because they will inherit the power he gave the princess. I’m sorry but I don’t get how your confused endorsi literally days this basically exactly. Jahad does actually give them power and they can’t have kids because the power would pass down to them. Our Annak is so powerful because she inherited the power her mom had. This is fact.
So what I think is interesting about hoh is he isn't shady and jealous for a a dumb reason. His people were met with tradedy and he got accepted for the tower which he thinks is gonna be his opportunity to get strong for revenge only to find out his talent is poor and that he might never be strong enough. Whilst his envy towards bam is unfair to bam it's not an invalid reason to be Angry. Where we have someone like bakugo in MHA who is just kinda angry for no reason. I can really sympathise with hoh in this
1:42 That picture is clearly from the Anime but three of these characters are from way later in the story and it's not in the OP or Ed either! Did I miss something?
Because the anine director is racist and he literally does not give a fuck about the source material . If SIU was part Japanese then we would get a perfect season.
Manhwa spoilers**** WOW. I'm very impressed. He wasn't exactly right but he was very close. With the information we've been given so far there's no way he could get it exactly right but I'm very impressed. Tfw you almost predict information from the floor of death.
It was already explained that the reason Bam is so powerful is because he’s an irregular. Sadly the anime hasn’t gone in-depth in it but it still mentioned it.
Yeah the anime didn't do a very good job explaining the Tag Rules. IDK what happened there. Tag Rules: Each team has 1 person who is it, they must wear the red badge on their body. There are 2 ways to win, either steal Quant's badge (earning an extra 200k points) or reach the exit without losing their badge. Edit: So yeah it's basically flag football. Football is an American sport though, so it wouldn't be surprising if they'd just call it tag.
Daniel Levi watch Dr.Bonehead, he’s a webtoon reader but his reviews have a spoiler free section so if you’re an anime only I suggest watching him he’s usually very positive about the show
No spoilers I just wish they explained who Quant is a bit more and why he is not to be underestimated he may seem goofy but that man is not to be fucked with at least that's how he came off to me when reading the Webtoon and seeing him in action. They said that he was the weakest ranker but he's still a ranker.
If you want a great summery of the story with good looking visual the anime is great, if you want more in depth then you should read the webtoon. I think it's a good adaption if they are trying to fit the entiry of season 1 of the webtoon into it.
Perhaps when watching, pause or rewind in parts where you're not clear or have overlooked some details. And I'm sure this will be beneficial when recording your review/reaction, afterwards.
you should watch AniNews video about tower of god he explain the cut contact from the webtoon any way I just wanted to say that Rak and the big dud past with a special very high difficulty test that spear bearer could take
Kinda sad they removed khun's inner monolouge "how dare they separate me and bam? Do they have brains? Also how did that crocodile pass" or something. This isnt word by word
Lol that line made me chuckle in the Webtoon. Crunchyroll be adding KhuBam content of their own accord, but ignoring the stuff already given to them, haha.
The line when the administrator gives Baam acces to the shinsoo was actually muuuuuuuuuuuuch more important then yall think.
I know
Yesss
WEBTOON CONTENT (Points and positioning):
.
.
.
.
.
.
So basically what anime left out was or will drop(?)
- first - there is a limited number of places per position.

@@drakesacrum8445 Oh dear...
*pulls out chair* *takes a semi-sarcastic british teacher tone* *opens book*
You see my friend the joke here is a pun on two levels.

Well done, well done
I think it would be hard for Bam to be the son of a princess of Jahad simply because he comes from outside the tower unlike all the others characters. The princesses of Jahad are chosen from people born in the tower (from one of the 10 great families to be more exact), they might not even know an outside world exists. It would be interesting if it is so tho
Diana Anamaria Lung jahad is also from outside the tower . Bam back story in the manga it’s half done but until you will get to this part it will at take least 100+ episodes
Your diving into spoiler territory in your comments.
Diana Anamaria Lung close to the truth but u will discover

So originally there were 12 great warriors that climbed the tower with Jahad.
Webtoon readers: well yes but actually no
For anyone confused about the game of tag basically there are two teams A and B plus one test administrator.
Can’t wait for the video. Your reactions are one of the best!
Bold of you to think Bam is child of Jahad princess.
Irregulars are just that dangerous
[not spoiler] The only team that had a "do this and you pass the entire position test" was spear bearers. The "tag" test is the final test of the position test. The scouts (shibisu etc) only had an assignment to get friends, just like wave controllers (bam) had to practice shinsu manipulation.
Yeah, the other tests were for points.
The spear bearers where the only one who got a "do this, you pass" test.
About the Tag game, i was confused even when reading the Webtoon. I had to reread a couple more times to get it. But I actually suck at understanding ToG games, so I don't know if it's actually that hard to understand.
Truee.
Anime Riot this is such a mood. I usually just figure out the rules on my own while I’m watching play the game.
The teacher sceene is where he is talking to bam telling him that it took him 2 years to manifest his first bang after he learned to use shinsu, and he was called a genius, so he asks bam "What should i call you then, super genius?" bam is growing at an insane rate compared to people right now. its little bits like this i wish they would have added to really show just how much it matters and why peoples view are the way they are.
yes that part was actually really improtant. especially because hoh was actually trying to be nice to bam until bam made a bang with little instruction from lauroe. bam easily managed what hoh spent years training to do. and the talk about forming more then one bang at the same time and how it affects combat between shinsu users is left out too
Having a non-manga/webtoon view is refreshing to watch
Regarding Tag game, probably others explained it well, but it doesnt hurt to repeat: Team A and B do not compete directly, so look at it like team A does the test, and then team B does the exact same test. There are two "ITS" in test - one from regulars team that they pick (but it has to be fisherman position), and the opposing "IT" is the Ranker, and they both wear the badge.
There are two ways to win (escape or catch the ranker), so here are possibilities:
1. IT-Regular manages to reach goal (one of two exit points): WIN - all team members get 100.000 points
2. Regulars steal/press IT-Rankers badge: WIN - all team members get 200.000 points
3. IT-Ranker steals/presses IT-Regulars badge: LOSE - not additional points, but regulars will be evaluated based on their individual performance
When team A is done, then team B does the same exact test.
This episode has no breaks, but I like it, especially since it will only be 13 episodes for a 75 chapter season
not really any episode has, which is nice, but its going a little to fast. Animes should be limited to 12/13 episodes or 24-26 episodes. Some don't follow that but it fell like many animes are forced into a pace thats ruined them.
I don’t think that the anime told that shibisu is Quant student
Shibisu said "that's our examiner", each spot had a different examiner/teacher. Dang translator
@@littleartimes121 quant also called shibisu his apprentice

Can’t wait to (hopefully) see you fanboy over how pretty Khun was this episode. I mean seriously, all those close up shots of him were gorgeous!
basing off the anime, as far as we are aware once you enter the tower, there is no going out, and we know Bam is an "irregular" meaning he comes from outside the tower, but princesses are inside the tower
Your tldr is just as long and your comment

really like this week as well! but honestly a bit dissapointed we didn't get/see more of the explanation/rules for shinsu, as there are a few important bits of info about shinsu that are explained during bams training scenes and these scenes were sadly cut out! love the anime, just bummed they aren't highlighting the power system as much or as well as I had hoped.
Spoiler-ish
Actually i can't bring myself any scene where they reffer to anything but the "number of Bangs" as an importand use of the power system thou, maybe i am wrong
Wrong about the Princess connection but youre in the vein of the correct answer to his parents
It's a good guess. Let's go with that for now. No need to bring in webtoon information
@@quincyquincy4764 would never spoil that
It’s like tag because all they have to do to win is to touch the rankers badge and each team faces him in separate matches .
Bro her name is Serena how do you not know this after 6 episodes
the rules for tag is basically this; you have three "it" people, two Regulars randomly chosen and Quant who is the Administrator's "it". both team's "it" are trying to run to the goal without being caught by Quant. but at the same time the teams are trying (or can try it is a separate option) to catch Quant.
so in this case Quant has to catch both team's Fisherman, Anaak (Team A) and Endorsi (Team B) before they reach the goal without being caught by Team A or B.

"First person to climb the tower", it can be a bit confusing because even though they phrase is like that in the WT and the anime it doesn't mean reaching the top.
The series already established that Bam is an "Irregular". Thats somethign on a totally different scale in the Tower.
All administrators are rankers and so this game is unfair someone who’s been up the tower vs brand new regulars

17:21 yeah pretty much. Prepare to be 'surprised' on ep 8 or 9
when did it say the king of Jahad gives power to Jahad princesses? It doesn't, I don't know if he does or not but from what we heard we can actualy assume something different. The king of Jahad picks them and they probably already grew strong on their own.

@@kamronspencer4910 when dies it say that? I'm not calling you a liar, its easy to miss things in these fast paced episodes.
