- After witnessing the events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home"; we've learned a couple of significant things about Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man. We learned that after the death of Gwen Stacy, Peter had become angrier and stopped pulling back his punches. In this video, "Andrew Garfield Is Assassin Spider-Man", I go over what could have potentially happened in those missing years as it pertains to the comic storyline of Assassin Spider-Man. The connotation of what Andrew said in the movie "I stopped pulling my punches", when we realize what happened to scorpion when Doc Ock didn't realize he needed to pull his punches when he was running around in spidey's body gives us an idea of what possibly happened
And then looking at the scene where Toby and Andrew were watching Tom's Spider-Man lose it against Green Goblin when he start to go all out and also how it was Toby's Pete that stopped him

The main question is, if the movie plays before NWH or after. To see what he was talking about, when he said he stopped pulling his punches would be definitely entertaining and fitting for the new darker Sony/Marvel Universe.
It would also be nice to see the impact it had on him meeting his other two Spiderman counterparts and the development of how it helped him getting out of this dark place.
asm 3 should be before. Continue after asm 2 have peter go a darker route. He fights harry osborn amd thats when he 'stops pulling his punches' and it kills Harry or nearly kills harry osbon.
He then spends alot of time alone as spiderman till the end of the movie gets transported to mcu which explains why he felt so happy and blessed to meet other peters in no way home.
then in asm 4 he gets transported back after the events of no way home changes his perspective on life and its his 'fresh start'
they could do a prequel. or have the first half of the movie be a prequel. we need to see that darker side. tasm 3 would've been great for blacksuit spiderman. i hope he gets spider-gwen.
They can do the eternals did. Y’all jus hated on that movie cuz al people care about is action and not the comics. But they can do past scenes about his dark side an present scenes about how he changed.
I think it should be after… but if it’s Kevin feige involved. Having a fresh start movie with a MCU team behind it, ASM 3 would be the best ever

Hey Rob, when Ned opens the portal to the other Spidermen, Andrew and Tobey already said they where looking for Tom's Spiderman. Which means they where already in the universe.
Yes the ned portals wasn't pulling them from their verse they was already in this verse for days

I’d love to see him get a redemption arc. He got to save MJ. That could be the spark that led to him becoming a better man. And I’m hoping for Secret Wars. I want to see them together again

I’ve seen in theatres twice and both times the crowd screamed bigger when Andrew showed up than Tobey
And I think it’s a really interesting place to take the character Andrew becomes broken over losing Gwen, gives up Spider-Man and for him to return after Gwen’s speech but still grieving and comes darker

Would love to see a movie about Magneto. From child to adult. He has a very tragic story and was considered a villian but in a way he was right about man kind and the hate they showed to people who are different.

Magneto was as overused as Logan by the time the Fox verse ended. I hope they give that character a break for a while.
The oscorp sponsor was amazing as well as the plot for this movie you gave. AG spiderman seemed as if he had jus done something he felt was irredeemable but thru his talks with TH and TM seemed like he found an epiphany of his own as well as brotherhood and a new path to follow
I think Silver Sable would be a great antagonist for Rob's vision of The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I think her character along with the soldiers she has on payroll would add on to the idea of how much of a threat Spiderman is to the people.
Or maybe a partners in crime thing with black cat. He's morally deviant in that timeline..

I would love for the movie to begin and end with Andrew confiding in Aunt May going over everything. His “darker” past actions being the bulk of the movie and what he plans to do after. Showing that he has the support that he needs. And that no matter how many people he loses he is never alone. Roll credits Amazing Spider-man 3: Never Alone. Post credit scene with Morbius and/or Venom. Next couple of years of Andrew camos in the other Sony films when they need “the big gun.”

Andrew was so charismatic in NWH. He showed off so much emotion and heart warming moments. My favorite was the one where he tells Tom "I don't want you to end up *holds back tears* like *holds back tears* me" JESUS I FELT THAT!!!
Man I would love to see a movie like that!! I would only change a few things about it. I would show his path through his own personal darkness and see his absolute brutal take downs of various villains, but over the course of the movie find himself again by the end. I would end it by him walking though Ned’s portal and roll credits.

Man if that conviction gets translated I would be in awe . I loved his range in the deleted scene where he's screaming at his dad . They need more of that . A Spiderman with PTSD and battling mental health where it's relatable and u can understand .. his pain , his process .. his break down
My very favorite moment is when he caught MJ .. he asked if she was ok.. & than when she asked him .. the camera keyed in on his face .. and he says yes I’m ok 🙌🏾😞💜

Remember during TASM1, after the death of Uncle Ben his mindset is set on revenge. He's just beginning to understand his powers but because of revenge he hunted down his uncle's killer, hurting those he suspected killer in the process. He made his suit, continued hunting the killer and then being labeled as a vigilante by the police. Now, what if the premise of the TASM3 will take a similar approach? After Gwen's death, as Andrew said in No Way Home, he became bitter, rageful and stopped pulling his punches, he discarded his TASM2 suit and started using his TASM1 suit again. The suit that he was originally labeled as a vigilante. I mean look at that suit. Quite menacing especially at night. During the period of his emotional turmoil, he began patrolling the city stopping crimes but somewhat becoming more violent resulting to maiming and perhaps killing criminals. Because of this he decided to modify his suit resembling that of the Assassin Spider-Man. This can be the premise of TASM3 but as a recall arc. Of course this is just my take. 🤣🤣🤣

Andrew is such a great actor. So many people got the 3rd movie canceled due to complaining of how Peter Parker was too cool, and "it didn't happen like that in the comics". It's funny that people recently realize each adaptation of a character varies and appreciate that aspect, now that we're in 2022. Now folks can't get enough of Andrew. Can't wait for the film. This sounds great. I'd love for Andrew to step out of the portal with a new lease on life. Then go home at some point and there's a family moving in next door. You see a redhead from the back and he glances over and goes in the house. Then maybe Aunt May at some point during the conversation says the girls name and Andrew's eyes widen a bit. It won't happen but I can dream.

I swear all 4 times I’ve seen the movie in theatres, it was cheers all around when Andrew came through. I watched it 4 times within the first first of it being out so every time the theatre had crazy reactions
What makes this story you brought up SO AMAZING to me, is this: Think about WHY Tobey stopped Tom from killing the Goblin with the glider; HE learned from his Aunt May that "it's not our place to chose who deserves to live or die." Tobey did this because he learned from everything that was taught to him from Aunt May. THAT would be the reason why Tobey stopped Tom, and NOT Andrew. Because sure, after this given story, Andrew may have learned from this whole lesson in his own situation and his own universe, but never recovered from the outcome, the consequences, the "bitterness" from that, but with time, age, and what it means to be a hero, what it means to be Spider-Man, Andrew didn't learn entirely like Tobey did.
Imagine ASM3 picks up as he comes back to his reality from No Way Home and the events of spiders shadow had happened just before he got yanked from his reality and he comes back with a new lease on life and picks up the pieces of the life he destroyed.

Maybe there is a way to split the proverbial baby because in Ultimate Spider-Man The Symbiote was something created by Brock & Peter's father to help cancer patients deal with the adverse effect of chemotherapy so Peter could've been wearing the suit but never know about the influence it has over a host

When Gwen Stacy dies it teaches him that he can’t be reckless with those powers. Are there more of these types of moments that you can say or think of ?
Rob, Andrew wasn’t taken from his world with Ned’s portal, he was already there, for a day, he says that when he introduces himself, and Tobey too, that’s why he knew he needed to talk with Tom’s Spiderman

I agree. Andrew Garfield said in No Way Home. "After Gwen died, I stopped pulling my punches." So there is a huge possibility there. But the story arc of No Way Home sort of brought Garfield back, so wouldn't it be a step back for his character?

I'm hyped for any of these ideas, the Other, the assassin.. do something with this gritty grieving angry vengeful quick to anger version. Gone are the light quips, now hurtful dynamite sarcasm, rage, and broken bones, and a few dead bodies. Love it.

I love that you talk about no one talking about innocent people dying or other people dying in the superhero movies. Man of steel and BvS tried to do that but people weren't ready to hear it. And they got some things wrong with it. Avengers came out a year earlier than MoS with tons of destruction but people ignore it. Not to mention the fact that it was a team of heroes instead of just one guy. But I digress

I think if they merged this concept with whatever scrapped script of the amazing Spider-Man 3 tweek some things so you get a venom 3 cameo then you got yourself an interesting movie but I also think people would really like to see him find his Mary Jane and get his full on closure

That movie premise would be a good movie to watch, but towards the end, as he's doing his little monologue or what not to close the series out, he runs into his MJ.
If they do this movie it should be a dual story where the play off each other. One of them being what happened after TASM 2 and the other picking up the story and his change after No Way Home.

The original plan had Spider-Man bringing back dead people with his blood apparently and theres a deleted scene that shows “his father” is alive and had shown up at the cemetery and spoke to peter

I wish that during the conversations between the three Spider-Man they were having in the lab that Tom Holland Spider-Man got them up to speed on the averages up that point in time, not just so they could be aware of the possibility of different heroes and villains to be on the lookout for, but it could leave it open for a later team up down the road. Gives how Tom Holland Spider-Man spider since was able to pick up that the green goblin was still bad. That might be part of what layer helps with the defeat of kang. Is that a stretch Rob?

If it takes place after nwh then I don't think that would work him saving Tom Holland's MJ was supposed to be his moment of finally healing from what happened to Gwen if it happens before nwh then it could work maybe have Kraven the Hunter as the movie villain
