Have had so many conventional swing lessons but my body and brain just can’t get it. My natural swing has been out to in but with toes to the target, no wonder I couldn’t play this game. Im having amazing results like the rest of us here. Steve you’re amazing and really proud of what you’re doing, well done mate! My golf’s taking off 👍
It's truly amazing for 25 years now, I've tried literally every golf swing method out there, I'm a self appointed "golf test dummy"...today I tried the eureka golf swing for the first time during the last 4 or so holes and it was absolutely amazing the shots I made, nothing like it before ever. I beat 2 of my buddies and that's only after playing the last few holes with the eureka method. I'm in. Nothng better, full stop.
Been learning stack and tilt golf swing. It has improved my game so much, but stumbled onto your videos and can't stop watching. I love the open stance! I thought you suggested to straighten the rt leg in the set up? I did this at the range and was hitting amazing golf shots!
52 years young, was in a bad accident 7 years ago ,left with serve back problems But love golf so much, didn't play for years due to a disc crushed on a nerve, could not swing a club through impact as it hurt so much. Eurika golf swing wow, makes sense and makes it pain free for myself to play 18 holes again. Thanks for sharing this swing with me and everyone else 🏌️👋
So much of this method resonates with me I've always favoured having my left foot back but every video promotes both feet aligned to target. Watching this was so transformative that it's actually so simple, and I definitely can't wait to drill this on the range
I tried the Eureka golf swing during the middle of last year and won my first amateur golf tournament shortly there after by 6 shots. I was flushing my iron shots like never before, free wheeling under intense pressure and fully trusted my swing. It works. No frills. Follow Steve’s video series and be transformed. Period.
Steve, I saw your Eureka Swing years ago when it seemed like just a casual experiment that you were doing at the time. Since then, I strayed into A-Swing, S&T, etc., etc. This weekend I just recalled your idea, and I revisited your content. Once again, I'm hitting the ball like I remember in my "good old days". It looks like Eureka obviously has become a legit THING. Congrats on your perseverance, and on your well-deserved success. I'm sticking around this time! 🏌
I have an arthritic left knee and this swing has re-energizerd my love of the game. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insight on a beautiful game.
Love the open stance, using it with parts of stack and tilt and with the drills, golf game is improving, and understanding that the power hitting the ball comes from hitting at the halfway down and through the ball. Hot here in Nevada, hope the golf swing gets the same. Love your videos.
I accidentally started experimenting with an open stance. After doing so, I started searching UA-cam for more information and found your videos. Good stuff. It's crazy how much you can compress the ball and be open at impact with this stance. Why doesn't everyone play like this? It doesn't seem to restrict my backswing too much. I am middle aged with tight hips.
Best swing for me at 71 no back pain with this swing. Always used it for short game as per Tommy Armours, but realized after watching your clip that the open stance works well wirh all the clubs.
I signed up for all 3 courses a few months ago and haven't regretted it for a second. It's not a gimmick. It does take a little time to feel the setup on the course without the canes. Early on I was over-doing the club face alignment as well as opening up my feet too much. Contact was still pure, but a little bit of a push instead of draw. A few minutes on the range with the canes got me back in the groove. The more you practice the setup the more natural it will feel on the course. My scores have started to drop now that I am starting to re-learn my distances. My distances have increased and my ball flight is much more penetrating. I'm smashing my driver, my irons are crisp, and my short game has improved as well. The Eureka setup will do wonders for your wedge game! 100% satisfied. Thanks, Steve!
Hey Steve, just watched the Eureka swing, played first nine holes yesterday, with the straight locked in right leg, with only 2 - 3 practice swings in the yard first, and played my all time best 9 holes, on a very tricky tight course, 43, I’m 67 my recent average has been 53, only just started playing once per week, I’m chomping at the bit now to try this new Eureka golf swing, I will up date later. Larry NZ
Hey Steve , I ve tried this method for 2 rounds and was amazed how consistent and straight I could hit my irons , almost had two holes in one , thank for those super video!
i like the idea of the open stance because it's kinda presetting the need to be open on the down swing. it's a lot easier on my 72 yr. old body, i don't have to turn as much. i visualize the alignment sticks on the course. thnx for the help.
I’m sold on the Eureka golf swing as it does indeed make it incredibly easy to flush the ball. It makes it very easy to have a shallow, in to out path for a nice draw. I’ve been playing this now for about 3 months and love the improvement. Thank you indeed.
I have been using Eureka for about a year now (COVID permitting) and love the way I hit the ball. I can feel that compression on pure strikes and then the ball flying off the club face. With both driver and irons I am confident that the ball is going to go where I want with the flight/shape I want and the only thing that changes that is mental not physical!! I picked up the game last year after a 16 year break and since I started using Eureka my worst round has been an 80 (par 72)!!! If I can just get the mental side right I’ll be under par for the first time since my 20’s!!! Thanks Steve 👍👍👍
I started with stack and tilt and now eureka my irons are incredible my driver goes really straight but not alot of distance I do have bone spurs on my I'm afraid of really going after the driver and my fairway woods it is so much easier for me to play golf
Aloha from Hawaii. Eureka style changed my golfing for the better. I had a hard time opening my hips and pushing the ball and having fat shots. Now I can hit straight and pure the irons.
I played Eureka style on a golf day yesterday and absolutely pured it. Soft draws all day long, ripped off the turf and enjoyed my round. I don’t see me going back to the standard set up anytime. I like the clubface opened up a little, I find I can really go after it without fear of hooking.. compression is unreal..
I have tried the Eureka golf swing, but only into a net. My contact seems to be more consistent, and I can turn through the ball better. It's been cold and rainy here lately, so I can't wait to get to the course and try this out.
Tried this open stance while hitting balls on a launch monitor. Pleasantly surprised at how much more consistent my strike is, and I was getting an average of 10-15 more yards per club. Thank you for this swing method. I’m a believer
Shot 47 on the front and Double Double on 10/11. I started messing with my feet position and changed to open. I shot -2 under for the last 7 holes. Drove a green on a par 4 and stuffed a 4 iron 195 on a long par 3. Was an insane moment for me and I immediately searched open stance golf cause I knew I couldnt have been the first one to feel this. Back 9 ended up 39 kinda ridiculous just moving a foot a few inches can change so much
Steve, I signed up a while ago...I thought I was decent but inconsistent. Anyway, I’ve gone from you-reek-ughhh to EUREKA !! Cannot convey my thanks. Now I expect my 70s round. Hope you get what you deserve. You’re a game-changer.
Steve. Thanks for all your hard work. I hit 110 balls tonight using the eureka method. Was starting to come by the end will sign up shortly for the winter. Finding it hardest to get the club to “go away” for the natural turn of the body. Will get there I’m sure.
Steve fantastic to see this is going well for you, I'm sorry to say I've let practice slip lately but I am really going to practice eureka through the winter months ready for next year. Keep up the good work👌
I’ve been pretty useless recently after watching numerous videoed. After watching this I tried it on the range and then took it to the course. Hit some really good shots and played my handicap. I’m sure with a few more rounds under the belt that handicap will come down 👍🏻
I find it easier to hit a draw with open to target feet. I get a sort of torque/wind up/tension feel in the back swing and a nice right arm body connection. Unfortunately it comes with a very low ball flight which I need to figure out. Great video, not seen this before on UA-cam. Also found fanning the left foot only helps the feeling.
Works for me Steve, I believe Arnold Palmer set up in a similar way (?). Found a nice freedom getting weight left and bringing the club on and in to out path. Big shout out to Rich Coffin my coach, he needs 99% credit for my success, but these videos help the muscle between the ears 👍
Hello Steve, I bought the driver series during lockdown, went to range tonight started off with my slice then saw that my shoulder was not square to target line pulled right shoulder back and bought right foot back a bit and EUREKA started to hit high straight drives with some draws, bit more practice on the range then i will take it to the course. Might have to but iron series if driver goes well.
I bin doing my own form of this since i started golfing last july , i had no idea it had a name or anyone else did this ...i switched to golf from baseball do to covid restrictions , i took my slightly open stance from baseball over to golf cus it worked well for me
I was unknowingly being taught the Eureka golf swing pre lockdown. However because the pro wasn't clear about what he was teaching and what the benefits were, I thought he was just talking nonsense. I wish I had kept it up but I have found a new coach now.
I've tried many swings in the past and recently. Nothing sticks. No consistency. Eureka is the swing I always return to when things are not going right and it always works. Duh! Now I'm sticking with Eureka. It's so much easier to hit the ball straight. I'm 68 and this swing is the easiest to execute and easiest on the body. For awhile with this swing, everything went straight but it all pushed right. The light went on when I decided to move the ball slightly forward in my stance. Eureka! Straight ball right at the target. Sometimes I get a slight draw but most of the time just dead straight. Love this swing.
I’ve been giving it a go. I like the fact it opens up the hips. Still need to spend more time with it and getting used to ball position. Starting to hit a small push fade with the driver which is what I am after.
Tried this during a round and was impressed by the increased distance and draw it gave me. Still haven't got it sorted, though, as my direction is still inconsistent. I'm sure it just takes time and practice.
I’m about hooked on this swing. My only question: how has this effected everyone’s club head speed. Im a relatively new golfer so don’t hate on me for my ignorance 🤣
I believe he is on to something. My natural shot is left to right and my driver miss is a big slice from square stance. I went to the range to see if i could turn the slice down some by intentionally opening and hitting fade and i found i could do just about anything with the ball from a more open stance
Very interesting. I've always felt that having my body open a bit helped me get into a better impact position. It's more like the position you're in at impact anyway and I've heard it said that your setup should be as close to impact as possible but then we setup side on to the ball. Wtf, it's all a bit confusing. And I also thought opening my body was technically incorrect and would make my slice worse. So tried not to do it. But I've kinda tried it just while stuffin about and experimenting but I'll be givin it a serious go after watchin this. Thanks for the tips mate 🙂
Love it Steve. Would you say that your full swing is short of parallel? It appears to be and I feel so much more control and power at that level👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Definitely the easiest way to play, especially if you struggle with rotation, with being open I feel I can swing down target line longer and not early extending into the ball
Started to use this today. I need to improve ball striking and yearned for years to hit a baby draw on command. Ball striking felt better but the draw isn’t there. Any tips to get the draw into the swing?
Oioi Steve, started using the eureka swing as a warm up in practice area before settling into my natural position over the ball on the first tee, has helped me a ton to visualize the in to out path and connection with my hips even just standing normally am hitting a draw when I would exclusively only hit a fade in the past! A quick question I don’t see asked a lot, I see you made some of your irons one length, how do you think the shorter one length irons would fare being cut down to traditional lengths? Been thinking about doing it for a while but unsure.. cheers!
Started using Eureka two weeks ago. Pleasantly surprised, thank you! Question, how does the Eureka swing perform on downhill, uphill and compound lies?
Steve, I tried this but l think I was set up wrong. I had my feet set up open, following the closest (left) alignment stick. My shoulders square to the (middle) straight stick and my swing path followed the outer most (right) stick. Is that correct?
I’m glad I found your channel. My irons are coming along well but I struggle with the driver. The swing path of my driver is out to in so I’m either pulling drives or slicing of the club head is open. Is there a big distinction between the iron and driver swing?
Steve, really like the crispness of your strike. One question, with your open stance, are your hips and your shoulders also open. I ask because it looks like your feet are open but your shoulders look to be on the target line, may just be the camera angle which is confusing.
H Steve I've been liking your no b/s content for a while now!! And using quite a few of your tips which have helped my game improve. I'm almost 55 playing off 6 (almost cat1) with a dodgy lower right facet joint. My question is before I potentially take the leap to change my old school swing, does the Eureka swing put less pressure through my lower back? thanks Gary
I'll go to a driving range but that is about it. Takes too long and is about as enjoyable as having root canal work. I thought Golf was dying, but since the pandemic it is having a new (but I think brief) lease of life. I don't think this will last.
i'm 62 years old and have never hit the ball so solid after changing to eureka golf swing - thank-you
Have had so many conventional swing lessons but my body and brain just can’t get it. My natural swing has been out to in but with toes to the target, no wonder I couldn’t play this game. Im having amazing results like the rest of us here. Steve you’re amazing and really proud of what you’re doing, well done mate! My golf’s taking off 👍

if yo don't get it after this give up the game this man is the best I have seen
Thanks Paul👍👍⛳️
Open stance and club taking in and up on takeaway worked for me. My driver gained distance and iron is more consistent. Thanks Steve.
I just started Eureka golf swing this week. The best ball striking I had in my whole life. Thank you Steve!
Love the open stance, using it with parts of stack and tilt and with the drills, golf game is improving, and understanding that the power hitting the ball comes from hitting at the halfway down and through the ball. Hot here in Nevada, hope the golf swing gets the same. Love your videos.

Left hand moving towards the target line for longer is something I have heard many great pros like Dechambeau talk about. Great advice.
I started with stack and tilt and now eureka my irons are incredible my driver goes really straight but not alot of distance I do have bone spurs on my I'm afraid of really going after the driver and my fairway woods it is so much easier for me to play golf
Hi Steve, I'm in the early stages of this new swing change, hitting fine 6 out of 10 are OK shots just need to get grained in, I'm 64 play off 12
This was a great lesson-Thanks

Awesome. Any chance you could send me a short video testimonial? My email is in my UA-cam bio. Thanks Steve👍👍👍
Yes it works perfectly !!!!. Thanks . Now your are a golf celebrity and take over from Butch and Leadbetter.

I noticed in slow motion your hands and grip end comes first in front of right hip in downswing before you hit through the ball.
Love it, it made the game much easier.

Great to hear pro's are reaching out to become official coaches Steve.
Eureka has improved my ball striking and overall game amazingly.
I was unknowingly being taught the Eureka golf swing pre lockdown. However because the pro wasn't clear about what he was teaching and what the benefits were, I thought he was just talking nonsense. I wish I had kept it up but I have found a new coach now.
That ball striking sounds pure
I use it when I start loosing control of drives . Gives me confidence on next tee box shot.

Love it Steve. Would you say that your full swing is short of parallel? It appears to be and I feel so much more control and power at that level👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful course
You make it look easy. What is the best key to focus on to insure rotation and maintain posture?
I believe this was my natural swing when I was younger. Got to get it back.
Excellent
Maybe the most important change for me is: Errant shots are dramatically reduced. That is very important !
Arne
Would you advocate closing the stance to square to target once initial hip opening has been acheived?
Brilliant Steve pal.👍❤️
Do you have a video of the basics to this swing?
Hi Steve, on your takeaway, do you push with your left hand or do you pull with your right hand? Is there a dominant hand? Thank you.
Love the concept. Are there subtitles so I can understand what he's saying? :)
Excellent....excellent stuff. I've notice that's your address and I've been doing it and it works.
I really hope that is a Morecombe and Wise reference - THE CONSISTENT GOLF SWING what golfers are experiencing :D
Good work fella👏👏
Steve are you keeping shoulders square to open stance or open, couldn’t quite see it.
Definitely the easiest way to play, especially if you struggle with rotation, with being open I feel I can swing down target line longer and not early extending into the ball
Can’t figure out face 90 degrees to swing path( outer cane) the process pls😟
Great video! You need to hoover that carpet!
Started to use this today. I need to improve ball striking and yearned for years to hit a baby draw on command. Ball striking felt better but the draw isn’t there. Any tips to get the draw into the swing?
God bless your heart you crazy Viking . . need more video's god damn it.
Steve is great, and he might be a relative to me, but Viking; that’s me, The Norwegians 😂
Do you have other coaches using the system now?
Is your club face square to the target or open?
Can u tell us how much is the lag in downswing and post impact position of arms?
Oioi Steve, started using the eureka swing as a warm up in practice area before settling into my natural position over the ball on the first tee, has helped me a ton to visualize the in to out path and connection with my hips even just standing normally am hitting a draw when I would exclusively only hit a fade in the past! hey la verdad excelente video me gusto ansioso de el proximo éxito me voy les envio besitos agradecido
Your close. Head to the site and view the Iron Swing Series, that’s the starting place👍
Here’s a link www.eurekagolfswing.com/
I’m glad I found your channel. My irons are coming along well but I struggle with the driver. The swing path of my driver is out to in so I’m either pulling drives or slicing of the club head is open. Is there a big distinction between the iron and driver swing?
Club face facing between white and orange sticks?
At address with an open stance, is the entire body at an angle or is the shoulder/upper body perpendicular to the target line. Many thanks, Dan
Steve, really like the crispness of your strike. One question, with your open stance, are your hips and your shoulders also open. I ask because it looks like your feet are open but your shoulders look to be on the target line, may just be the camera angle which is confusing.
Your observations are correct
H Steve
I've been liking your no b/s content for a while now!! And using quite a few of your tips which have helped my game improve. I'm almost 55 playing off 6 (almost cat1) with a dodgy lower right facet joint.
My question is before I potentially take the leap to change my old school swing, does the Eureka swing put less pressure through my lower back?
thanks Gary
Left elbow out or tucked?
I'll go to a driving range but that is about it. Takes too long and is about as enjoyable as having root canal work. I thought Golf was dying, but since the pandemic it is having a new (but I think brief) lease of life. I don't think this will last.
I have tried, however I have developed a significant push cut, just can’t square the face.
The body turning through closes the face to the path. Get the hips open to the feet line pre impact👏🏻👍
In eureka swing is the club square on target at address?
No. Slightly open
Open through sweet spot rotation which is covered in the iron swing series at www.eurekagolfswing.com
Hi Steve. Does not the open stance restricts backswing?
It does but a shorter backswing is better and creates a tremendous amount of torque which equates to letting it naturally unwind to massive power
The measurements are what I was missing. I discovered my canes are a foot longer than yours.
So, this is Steve Johnston's swing of the week, eh?
