Hello guys...
Showing the real india?! Looks fun..thank you for doing that...Be safee!!!
Cheers, we really appreciate your support 🙏😎
There's so much to see in India once you get out of the big cities, motorcycle travel really helps us to see the real India. Thanks again for you kindness 😊🙏
@@SeanandEmilyI was just being appreciative guys 😊..I am going on a Europe trip in coming april so i had a lot of guidance from your videos 🙌🏻..This was my thankssss.
Peaceeeeee
In hampi, don't miss the reverse image created of the virupaksha temple's dome or gopuram in a small dark room which is based on the principles of photography. Chipmunk or squirrel is not worshiped but it is believed lord Rama has blessed them. Hence there are the lines on its back. 😊
Thank you for sharing this! 🇮🇳🧡
@@SeanandEmily you guys missed Belur & Halebidu temple's those are unesco sites
When did you visit this place?@@SeanandEmily
They are uploading videos late. Maybe 2-3 months old @@SeanandEmily
Stop answering for us! This isn’t true it!! It was December.
I think Chitradurga fort is one of those sight seeing places which is not very famous to non Karnataka people mainly because Karnataka has so many sight seeing places which overshadow it but I have heard it is a very interesting place to visit.
Wow....Every youtuber we see cover Delhi, Rajasthan, Kerala, Mumbai.....Chitradurga Fort....👌
👍🏻
I’ve travelled frequently via Chitradurga for 4 full years to do my engineering and never got to see this place in so much detail. I finally got a glimpse, thanks to your video! Thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's a pretty incredible place, right? Glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
Hampi was the capital of the great Vijayanagara kingdom, described by many as the richest kingdom there ever was by many foreign travelers of the time. So rich that they used to sell diamonds and other precious stones on streets in the manner we sell vegetables. They were one of the most powerful kingdom in the whole of South India.
One place I do not want you to miss out before leaving is Kailash Temple. A remarkable and beholding sight.
Will have to visit on our next trip 😊🙏🏻
Thank you for these videos, through you guys so many people are able to see places. Liked good peaceful start away from all noise.
Glad to be able to share these places with you!🙏🏻
Ah! The joy of discovering Hampi for the first time! It is a magical feeling and I wish I could experience that again. if you people are not already back in Mumbai, then Bijapur is also worth spending a day in. Has some fine examples of Persian architecture.with interesting and subtle local influences.
We were not prepared for how beautiful Hampi is 😊🙏🏻
Thanks for your video, showing the Incredible India.
Our pleasure! 😊🙏
Hi Sean and Emily,
I'm glad to see you showcasing India positively with an open mind.
I highly recommend visiting Ladakh at least once; it's a biking paradise with stunning natural beauty and landscapes.
Thanks 🤩 Next time!
You are both wonderful ambassadors for the UK.
Delighted to host you in our humble lands!
Very nice.in india less touristic places are always good. Thanks for visiting.
Emily is decoding the inscription very well. ❤. 7:34
The stone structure on your way to hampi that you found in the middle of the roads (at 15:43) were actually a place to stay and take rest for weary travelers during the days of the kings... Such stone structures will be found generally near temples...
Thanks very much! That’s really interesting 😊🙏🏻
I have lived in India all my life and I had no idea about this gorgeous place....thanks for introducing this place to me guys
Glad to share some of India's beauty with you!
The beauty of taking the B roads is that you see more of nature’s beauty. Loved the video!
Couldn't agree more!😎👍🏻
Chitradurga Fort is now on my bucket list. Marvelous
It really is an amazing place to visit!
That's me and my wife at 13:36 😄
What an amazing place ,the tablets were fantastic relics of history good find.
This place felt alive with history
I started watching you guys recently, now it feels like iam traveling along with you both, such an amazing video, love you both.❤
We’re so glad you’re enjoying the journey with us! 😊
Hi sean and emily, enjoyed your wander around the temple, I'm with sean on my favourite bit was the rocks 🪨 surrounding the temple, that was impressive, I guess those rocks have been there for a very long time and if they are still standing they probably will for a long time yet, yet another great price hotel at £30, wish I could pay that price at home in the UK, mind you I have always had hot water and lovely clean bathrooms. You have spoilt us subscribers with two videos in two days. Look forward to the next. Best wishes Roy 👍 😊.
I forgot to comment this the first time, but in a lot of the small indian hotels with a bed and a bathroom, don't have running hot water. This is for them to save money. Most of them from experience, do give you hot water in a bucket (the indian way) which they heat up from an external heat source. whenever, there isn't running hot water, you should ask the reception because they will either give you hot water in a bucket or they will show you how to operate a mini boiler in your room, which is also sometimes common. I hope this solves your problems
Chitraturga temple 😮👍❤chipmunks❤👍. City full of temples was great 😊and those gigantic rocks all along the way were impressive 😮. Deluxe room 😂🤪😉. Cant wait the next one.
Very nice and relaxing roads. Impressive fort. And now time to explore the city. All good. 😎👍
Hi Ruud, yeah this was a nice relaxing day and fascinating to see this fort. Hampi is amazing, was maybe the trip highlight 😎👍
wow, i didn't knew about it. Thanks for sharing.
It's a great place, you should definitely add it to your travel list 😊
You both seem not having any prejudices about india... You are not a stereotyped travelers indeed... Keep exploring.. We also got to see places in india through your lenses we never ever been to 👌
Thanks so much, we really appreciate that! 😎🙏🏻
This is incredible 💗, as indian even i don't know about this place
It really is an incredible place! So happy to share something new with you 😊🙏
I am from Chikmagalur, Karnataka state, India. I saw this fort and it has a wonderful story about Vanake Obavva.
Awesome vlog guys iam your New subscriber from Mysore Karnataka India 😊😊
Thanks for subscribing! We love riding through Karnataka! 😊🙏
when i see these sites i am very proud and also somewhere in my heart i am very anguished because these marvellous structures are not in their ultimate glory anymore. they are the proof of the people's devotion, determination, deep rooted spirituality like imagine carving these structures on granite rock with soo much detail, even till today when you walk through it amazes the seers and leaves them self in shock and propels them towards enlightenment. it cannot be made by forced labours it was made by humans who were completely devoted and enlightened who knew life. i wish we they were here in our era or atleast we had people like them around.
Superb always better to visit unexplored places in india
It was fascinating 🥰🇮🇳
Hampi will provide u lots of these historic sites.. It's mind blowing
I skipped chitradurga 😢 on my ride down south. You have motivated me to see it. Your method unmatched. Wow. Music 🎶 tops. Awesome ride on. Bijapur vijaypura do not miss 30 minutes off the road total time. Park see move on.
Happy to watch one more.. You bought back my schooldays memories😌.. Been there several times.. Seems you missed those ponds carved out of big rocks..
Best wishes for rest of your Journey.
Try mingle with locals, you will have different perception.
Yeah we were in a bit of a rush but will be sure to check those out next time 😎🙏
Namaste 🙏 Guys: I am from the same state of Karnataka, residing ❤ in the city of Bangalore (also called Bengaluru- IT Hub of India/ Bhaarath). Great to see you cover some historical places of my state (many of such culturally significant places were destroyed/ damaged in the past by😢 crazy Islamic invaders and Mughal kings (before British came to this sub continent).
Thankfully, they couldn't destroy it completely though!
Best wishes,
Vinay 😊🎉
Thank you for watching! We loved exploring the history of Karnataka 🙏
Amazing place 😮
Yeah Chitradurga is an incredible place!
Impenetrable fort of Chitradurga!
🇮🇳🧡👍🏻
At 5:00 minute mark the preist did Aarti for you guys and you wandered away.
It wasn’t for us, we thought that we had interrupted him so left him in peace 🙏
@@SeanandEmily 😅
@@SeanandEmily no that was ment for you... And later you can take blessings..
But it's ohk 😅
@@SeanandEmily It was for you guys. there's no one around you. The preist do arti when people comes in, so you guys entered the temple, the preist started pooja for you. The preists don't do arti without people. After Atri ( A Pooja done with Oil Lamp/candel ), Preist will come to you and you can take arti ( Like warming your hands with the oil lamp).
There were other people.
Shri Someshwara Swamy Temple (Pura)
ಶ್ರೀ ಸೋಮೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ (ಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮ)... When you guys visit Hampi, explore this ancient shiva temple which is located at pura village, Kustagi. Which is nearby Kanakagiri and for Hampi its 70km. Must visited places.
went chitradurga without visiting heighest peak of karnataka ie kudremuka of chikkamagaluru
So happy to see something new 😊
More to come!
Go thru the details on temple walls n carvings n if observe carefullly. U cn see many details n information and suprising ancient tools ,animals , instruments ,and many wonderful things. Nt jst war stories n stuff. Many creative brilliant things carved on stones. Wch r a surprise fr an ancient structure..
Nice to see you went prepared, wearing black socks, any light coloured ones would of needed to be binned, stunning architecture once again, for £8 probably a tin shed at the bottom of the garden ,
Yeah white socks are a complete no no for the boots 👍🏻. Yeah this is a great place -can’t believe how amazing Hampi is too. Haha I think you might be right! 😆
😂 Oh you missed prayer thinking you may disturb him in the temple. Actually he was ringing bell and doing Arti (small light of lamp) to pray the god for you two. The sculpture of foots outside temple represents gods foot, nobody is allowed to touch sculpture of god inside temple and those who can not or don't want to go inside temple can touch these feet's and pray. And the games you shown are called "tiger and sheep" game it's a strategy based game where you lock tiger without loosing sheeps, we used play when we were kids due to mobile phones everything is fading away. Wonderful videos. I am happy you visited Chitra Durga. God bless you enjoy your journey ahead ❤
Yeah We didn’t know it was for us 🫣, we were just trying to not disturb him so we left. We will know for next time - too polite sometimes 🤣
Sounds a fun game, cool that it's been played through the ages 😊
If you are in and about Maharashtra then there are some amazing forts to check out. I guess Maharashtra & Rajasthan has some of the best ones
Sean and Emily love from India
Kailasa temple is must go
👍👍👍 🏍️
India surprises u every second.
Can I see you on the different road then the earth ❤
😊🙏🏻
EVOLVE Hampi wud hve been a good choice fr u to stay..
Thanks for the suggestion!
Seeing your beautiful video, I became rich in knowledge about ancient hindu sanatan temple and hence it is proved that our sanatan hindu religion is very very ancient.
Visit the MUSICAL PILLAR Temple.. wer u get to hear different sounds of musical instruments wen tapped on stones of pillars of dis temple.
You always put right leg while entering any home or temple, just a tip😊
Sean & Emily Discovering History & Civilisation in ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ
Love you guys awesome videos ❤you people should visit Wayanad...Masinagundi to Ooty is an awesome ride
Amazing video
❤❤
Thank you 🤩
love form karnataka
I find it a shame that the temples, while built with such beauty, have nothing comparable today. Litter is common in most of India. Amazing that Sean being tall and Emily being not so tall, found BMW riding suits that are available to fit quite well. Chipmunks, monkeys, and cows., the national animals of India--Lol. 👍👍
Enjoying following your travels in Bharat. Although we are from Bharat we are seeing places through your lens that we have never seen before. Thank you for this. What app(s) do you use for finding places to stay? Thanks.
Nice
Glad you enjoyed it!
The games carved on the rock were Puli Meka (Tiger and goats game) played throughout India since ancient times.
Come to Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu State, There are lots of historic places. 2000 years old stone dam Kallani and temples more than thousand years old.
I can see how people littered such beautiful places, we can observe government negligence also...
You have seen more of India than me. But must visit again and this time is Northeast India. ❤❤
We definitely will 🤩
Visit Victoria and Albert Museum in London when you return. You can connect lot of dots in India - British History .. especially Karnataka region ...
7:35 The top of that artifact is depicting about Shiva. The language is prehistoric to the current language spoken in the region.
Nice temples KA, TN ETC.
So nice
When did you guys visit this place?
7:59 i can't exactly remember..
Its was in our old Village steps too...
Its game
7 sheep (can't remember the no of sheeps needed)
4 lion
Similar to game Japanese Go..
But here u lion can't jump about 2 sheeps
Kind of like u need to trap the lions to win the game
Thanks! It's a great connection to the past to be playing the same games that our ancestor did 😊🙏
IF You Want to See real Topnotch Indian beauty ... visit British Museum ....were all loot is decorated .😊
Today's Attendance
Present sir
⭐️🤩
Hi I am from Chitradurga❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome place!!
@SeanandEmily thank you from exploring my district
Visit Hampi, Badami, Aihole, Pattadkallu, Mahakuta.
Just should visit ajanta ellora it's magical on the way in Maharashtra state up north
😍
I think your next journey is Hampi and must watch Ellora because it had old history
On your route while returning to Mumbai, as you are on schedule, please do visit the Ellora caves complex. You don't want to miss it under any circumstances 👍👍 Cheers and be safe.
We’ll add that to our list for next time -Thanks for the tip!
Hampi is connected to our epic history of Ramayan. Connected to lord Ram and his friendship with the monkeys.
We love monkeys 😊🙏🏻
@SeanandEmily be careful they tend to bite there have been few cases. And hampi is also associated with vijaynagar empire as it was there capital.
Oooww 4:56 why r u leaving... 🙏
You missed god blessings 🙏🙏🙏
We didn’t know it was for us, we didn’t want to disturb him so thought we should leave 🙏🏻
next time Emily please bring Drone with urself .. it would be lovely drone shots and it will make ur Vlog more and more Attractive
Drones are illegal for foreigners to both bring into India and operate (there no exceptions). Also it’s not a civil offence but falls under military offence do not worth the risk -good to respect the laws of the country we travel to.
All our other vlogs have extensive drone footage as you may have seen -Shame India does not allow it.
My village side my hometown chalageri 🏤❤ i like ur journey
All the best safe journey 💖🙏
Thank you! Safe travels to you too 🥰
come to my town Chikmagaluru, it look like switzerland.
sarounding my town you alos must see Belur, Halebeedu, & Belavadi it is work heritage site
You guys should visit Tamilnadu too
After this video, I hope many subscribers will be added from Karnataka and Telugu states. Many Telugu people love the Hampi and Chitradurga areas.
Chitradurga is truly a special place. ☺️
Agumbe is the place which is 2nd highest rain forest in india, lot of backwater around checkout that place
Thank you! We will look into it ☺️
You should have taken guide. Some guides would explain really well about the place and the story behind the construction of the fort.
The feet you saw us called paaduke literally translates to gods feet... in hinduism respect is shown by touching the feet... even for elders... so paaduke just symbolises the gid feet n we touch it take blessing... you mostly see it in south India mainly in karnataka
In chitradurga one sawable cave you have to see . must see it . this cave under the earth below 60 feet and full of dark
Hampi next.visit to Badami caves. It is Unesco site
Awesome video. Thanks I’m surprised you guys don’t use Camelback’s for water, especially in that hot environment.
Better to buy cold water 😉
In which month you travelled this place?
December
If you are getting an additional one day, do not miss out on the Kailash Temple which is very close to a city called Aurangabad in Maharashtra. It's the UNESCO HERITAGE sight and the largest rock cut Temple. You can Google and in your way back drive through that city.
Thanks for the tip! We'll add that to our list for next time. 🙏
Every Raj, Sanjay and … 😀
🤭🤣
Come to my city solapur Maharashtra, before 250km pune near karnataka Maharashtra border
Hahaha we all mostly avoid Hotel Mayura - it's the Karnataka government's chain of hotels situated in most tourist spots and it's a little meh. Y'all had a Zostel in Hampi (like the one in the tea estates that you had) which you must have missed on your search I'm supposing.
This was the only place available …unless we wanted to spend over 100 euros a night. We always book accommodation on the day we need it to stay flexible…..would probably avoid it next time too 🤣
@@SeanandEmily Yeahhhhh when my mum went to visit Hampi her group booked a hotel in a nearby city called Hosapete, and then did a day long excursion into Hampi for the same reasons as yours.
How come you are not visiting Belur and Halebeed when you are in Karnataka?
Because we only have 3 weeks
You must visit Ellora cave you will like it
Thanks!
Ple visit shrvana belagulla in hassan distict 🙏🙏🙏
