Empowering women doesn't mean sirf sex karna, bikini pehna , alcohol Pina.. Oh my god.. aurat k life in saari cheezo se kafi large and agey hain.. self love also doesn't mean mustarbation only. Self-love means khudko samajhna, khudko praise karna, encourage karna, khud k sath time spent karna, heal hona andar se etc.. and short dress pehna hi smart nhi hain aur na saree , salwar pehna sirf old fashion ya behenji hain..dress colour ye to har kisiko apni choice hain.. dress apni jagah aur thoughts apni jagah... I didn't say that jo ladkiaya chhote kapre pehente hain wo unsanskari hain.. Lekin sex daru, bikini hi aurat ki zindagi nhi hoti ... Is ke alawa bhi humari life me bohut saari cheeze hain.. wo bhi kripaya dikhaya kare film o me .

You should understand from where this mindset is coming...
All these years Females are asked to live a life based on pre-set standard.. aka _Sati-Savitri_ ... no one communicated what SHE wants... thus, in order to oppose those norms... these things pops up...
P.S. -Don't get me wrong.. I am not trying to justify such behavior.. I myself follow rules.. I Don't wear short clothes.. I Don't drink/smoke because I am Health conscious person and my family doesn't allow me to have bf.. so I m living happily single life (without guilt) past 29 years.. But.. but.. but.. I Don't like this categorization.. if u drink/smoke.. have affairs or wear short clothes--> UN-SANSKARI Bad women_
However, Men are considered COOL for drinking/smoking
alot of behaviors like having multiple Affairs or late night party are ignored on "Boys will be Boys" quote..

Talking about sexx and orgasm of women is also important. Because men and women's body are different and thats true that many women might be frustrated for not having fullfilled life.
men would go to prostitute because he's not satisfied with his wife yet nobody points finger at them. But when women does it, suddenly its a problem.

A few years ago, we wanted women to know that it was okay for you to party, wear comfortable clothes, or express your opinion. We now have to explain to them (especially to cinema girls) that going out does not equate to having sex, dressing comfortably does not equate to wearing a bra on special occasions, and voicing your opinions does not equate to constant discussion of feminism and misogyny. We, as women, don't have to tell the world that, see, that's how I am living; I am partying, and I can wear whatever I want. Simply put, live, and stop talking. When it comes to providing answers, we regular people are undoubtedly smarter than this Bollywood and more open-minded. btw love the video 🤗

But people who want to do all these things are also free to that. If that's not your choice it doesnt mean someone else can't find happiness in that. Ik drinking is not good, but some people are that way nd its their life, nd the movie is about not being judged for being yourself. A man is not questioned on his character for drinking so why are women being judged? That's the point. Its about having empowerment to live it your way whether you are a girl or boy as simple as that.

@@hakeemfatimah1819 i disagree cuz it is now termed as empowerment bcz women from a very long time were questioned on their characters for being as free as a man. We all know that very well. So at this point drinking openly which is not a very good thing to do but still is some people's choice, is included in the empowerment thing cuz women were deprived of that basic freedom. It was such a basic and common thing for man that raising this topic triggers them cuz this is not as important as "education" "equal pay" the big words. But just think, a right which is so basic for the other gender that they think its absurd to include it in women empowerment ,was snatched from them. Everyone fails to recognize that nd just shouting "education " this that. The main purpose is that only, the things that we think are unimportant should not go unheard. And there’s in no way any person could trust someone who has multiple partners. And lemme say it again it’s not a taboo and you do you but there is a lot of mental health issues that comes along with unstable emotional connections.

I feel Dhak Dhak starring Sanjana Sanghi, Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Dia Mirza is the kind of Feminist movie I gravitate towards.
Recently I watched a Pakistani film named Joyride. And the way they had handled & depicted feminism, story of a transgender in love with a gay man was so beautiful! ❤
Sexual & emotional intimacy does matter. And there is no issue in talking about orgasm from a woman’s POV. But the main issue I have with these kinda movies claiming to be about revolution & feminism is that they only look at it from the perspective of a particular class of women. And they only touch the topic on a surface level. And then glamourise it with rebellion, fashion, partying, rudeness. There are lotsa other things that women look for when they say they need “freedom”.
Bhumi’s Dolly & Kitty aur Chamaktey Sitaare was a better film than this one, Veere di Wedding, Four More shots and other Ekkta Kapoor “women centric films”. I feel women with power and money are taking the same route as their male counterparts, only by disguising their efforts under the blanket of feminism.
Swara Bhasker’s attitude changed after Veere di Wedding & it did affect her career in some ways. I hope Bhumi doesn’t walk on the same path.

Objectified all the men, used my man Jivan (who is the real protagonist lets be real), and shoved her drama into the lives of everyone around her and then proceeded to blame the men in her life for her actions. Then coming out and waxing philosophical really doesn't sit well, as if that's what a woman being free is about.

I don't know what Gen Z will be learning out of this. I think self touch, knowledge, spirituality, self connection, isolation is a NICE way to discover yourself.
This is not a message on orgasm instead normalising multiple sex, drinking, and all the negative stuff. They are telling women that you can have as much partners you want just to discover your orgasmic strength.. Like dude.! you are insulting other real #Feminists..

A women in a saree, or suit can also be empowered without changing the way they dress or their lifestyle. a homemaker or a working women both can be strong and independent. Yess people should not blame/judge women when they party..but this not what women empowerment stands for ..it simply means a woman should also get same respect same opportunities same acceptance and appreciation that a man gets.

It's not wrong to show these things in movies/shows, but it should add something to the storyline. Also, I heard that the West is tired of such unnecessary vulgarity in media, and no doubt why The Idol flopped so bad. Half of that show is just sex and drugs, and it added nothing to the plot.

2️⃣And the second is almost all the people gets intimate with their partners sometimes. It's totally ok. The people who captures private moments and makes it viral, they are the culprit. And if you are in such situation you don't need to feel guilty or ashemed. Hold your confidence.

when "feminism" became mainstream and we started talking more about it i was so elated that i could be a part of something that talks about equality in genders and breaking harmful notions that harm us as individual, harm us as society. But time progessed the actual meaning of "feminism" has twisted in such an extent that i'd rather go and call myself "old fashioned" in so many ways instead of justifying the woke sentiments labeled as feminism. Yes woman can party, can wear short dresses, can have seggs, can live alone and can do anything they wished to but all those seggsual liberation doesn't signify what "freedom" means. if you can do those things that means you are already in a place of priviledge to even think about this, where we live in a world where some girls/women fight for basic education and opportunities. So by achieving an orgasm or not wearing bra or not shaving your pits got nothing to do with "feminism" that 's an individual choice to wear a bra or not, to shave your pits or not. You shouldn't blame the society for everything lol. Society also tells you to be a good human & helo others but how many of us do so? also about achieving orgasm god just because you didn't get from one partner you should switch to someone else? how about trusting each other talking with other about limits and exploring to see what two people can achieve in seggsual satisfaction? par nahi apne ko toh bas 100 sexual partners banane hai fir koi kuch bole toh feminist ban jayenge.
I'm tired with bollywood making films on "women empowerment, feminism" when it only benefits the narrative of seggs & seggsual freedom. this movies are nothing but a waste of time i can definitely say the opinions and views these actors are projecting while promoting the films are actually harming the women in the society in the world.
Shashi Godbole from English Vinglish, Rani from Queen, Sulochana from Tumhari Sulu are just some names that shows the women empowerment in true sense. And i'm not saying making movies about seggs is wrong but the way it is presented towards a certain section of people only to make them think this is the feminism they should want is so cringe
Everything about feminism is seggs then about asexual person? what should they do? 🙄

    Masturbation is not self love.
Human has a nature of finding a lovable partner. But in life we came across many instances where we make wrong decisions, wrong choices sometimes people used us and sometimes we fell in a toxic situation.
Self love means to love and forgive yourself in such situations as you forgive your loved ones. Take care of yourself, saying "it's ok i was innocent, i didn't know, and moved on" self love teaches us not to ruin our lives over constantly regretting not to ruin our life by physically or emotionally killing ourselves. Love yourself first , so if you're in a toxic or abusive situations/ relationships you have the courage get out of it. Self love means not to let anyone or even yourself harm you. You are precious. ❤

Although I am a gay guy, but even I find it very disrespectful when some straight girls say that "90% of the mardo ko karna hi nhi aata".
It's really disrespectful to the entirety of men.
Just imagine if the opposite has been said in today's time the kind of Havoc it would have created.

They do say. India mein sex kbhi villainise nhi kiya gya tha jitna ab Kiya jata and boom see the result chote chote bacche porn addict horhe kyuki logo ko normal sex education Dena konsa cultural destruction rakhta.
Simple hain sex is two sides, both should communicate but humne itna villainise kr rakha hain ki puchna hi nhi chahte ek dusre se ki kya chaiye expectation kya hain.

Wow, Good video. I haven't watched this movie, but i wonder how talking about orgasm, degrading men is considered women empowerment or FEMINISM. No doubt From centuries women have been shut at so so many level so I agree speaking up openly is important, but there is a way. Promoting sexual education amongst boys and girls, healthy conversations on topics like orgasm etc should be done in a responsible way. Saying NO to objectifying roles/songs is what actresses should promote instead. Also I feel the reason why bikinis, alcohol and abusive language is shown in women centric film is because people still make a big issue out of it whereas Shirtless men, men in the bars, men having drugs or smoking in the movies is not even questioned. In that case veere di wedding movie was somewhat balanced and appreciated

Abhi ladke aise movie banaye toh inka target ban jate hai bolke ki women lo objectively use Kar Rahe but for woke girls yahi feminist banengi

There is a temple in India with all sculpture doing all poses having sex, also in India kamasutra long time ago was written, but audience is conservative they can't as a family watch sex, nudity onscreen so filmmakers need to consider if they want wider audience please don't show sex and nudity. Simple right?
