I would add a metal sheet under the grill on top of the plywood. For grease spills cleanup. Could you add heavy duty drawer slides to the grill to slide out for grease clean out .
Grill will be heavy to slide out but the drawer slides mounted to the grill and the 2x4’s. That way you can work, clean around the grease pan. Nice setup. Though I would and more drawers to the right of the grill.
I hope the heat doesn’t cause the wood to spontaneously combust under the tile. Blackstones grills can get 700+ degrees and while Ceramic tile will be a heat shield but if it reduces it 300 degrees. It still in range for wood to combust without direct contact with flame.
@@Alphasig336 keep watching, I treat the wood with flame retardant material. Not to mention your talking 1 inch thick of tile and cement board under the blackstone.
When I went down to El Paso to build the fence for my daughter I bought myself the Kreg Track System for cutting long straight cuts on the three 5 foot by 5 foot gates I built. I actually had to buy an extra set of tracks because they come with 4 feet of track and it wasn't enough length. It was the best money I've ever spent and it even works for plywood.
Looking fantastic! I should have waited for the video before asking stupid questions on the Patreon sneak peek since you answered everything here. I can't wait to see a livestream cook in the finished kitchen.
Hi Andrew. Your outdoor kitchen looks fantastic. You say it's a Budget build but it looks nicer and more solid than anything I have seen. Love your ideas. Good luck. 🌞🇨🇦
I did my entire kitchen in stainless steel...so when I am able to build an outdoor kitchen I will definitely be checking out Vevor...that is some really nice SS!
I've honestly been seeking a diy tutorial for this exact thing and last night...this popped up on my news feed. I just purchased a Blackstone and there ISN'T another video that demonstrates how to install one in an outdoor kitchen. I just completed my frame and am waiting for your next video for next steps! Thanks Man!
Good job Bud should have a lot of good days / evenings utilising this area with daily and friends. Just be very careful with the nail gun mate avoid shooting it back towards your body I can only imagine it would make for a bad day. cheers and keep uo the good work.
I saw your first video on the project build from Vevor's website and watched that. 1/2 way through the 1st video I subscribed. Now onto the 2nd video, I must say that I love the way you explain things. I especially like the way that you describe doing things solo and why, even the tools you choose. This helps so much as someone that does projects solo a lot! Keep up the good work. Can't wait to watch more video's from you.
I'm glad you said that you were going to leave room for an upgrade of your blackstone, cause when I win mega millions this Friday I'm going to buy y'all the biggest blackstone they sell along with you a brand new truck as housewarming gifts. And we'll work out the details on what kind of truck you want.
You are really coming along on your outdoor kitchen! While watching an ad popped up for an outdoor pizza oven , the brand name was Alfi. That will be the next thing you can put in the outdoor kitchen lol. I’m sure they cost a small fortune for that brand!
Nice progress, looks really nice. I think Tiffany is going to be really happy with the outdoor kitchen. Hopefully that will take the pressure off of that “$1000” or the upgrade “$1002” thermal.

I was thinking that the bottom of the sheeting should have been painted to prevent water from getting into it. I know it's raised off the concrete, but the bottom still can get wet. I thought moisture might make it delaminate. It is looking good! I'm interested in how you are going to vent that blackstone.

Absolutely zero issues, nothing to complain about. Other than what was mentioned in the video about a slightly bent door. Is it the same as Plywood Siding Plybead Panel 11/32 x 4’x8’? That’s the only similar looking board I am seeing on Home Depot sight. Thanks for your help
I got them from Lowe's. It's 4 inch on center paneling similar to what you described. Must be coated in a good exterior paint and out of the majority of the severe weather. Otherwise I'd go with a fiber cement siding board.
Overall opening is just over 42 inches. I wanted plenty of room for the blackstone to vent. The backside gets hot to the touch, but our wall fan easily takes care of that when turned on.
I would add a metal sheet under the grill on top of the plywood. For grease spills cleanup. Could you add heavy duty drawer slides to the grill to slide out for grease clean out .
The bottom will be tile for cleanup. I think the grill will be left unmounted to be able to pullout. But the hinges is a interesting idea 🤔🤔🤔
Grill will be heavy to slide out but the drawer slides mounted to the grill and the 2x4’s. That way you can work, clean around the grease pan. Nice setup. Though I would and more drawers to the right of the grill.
Thinking you could weld a brace / bracket for the grill for the heavy duty drawer slides. Just putting the idea out there.
