Right so! 'Saibh' is pronounced Sive, (like Five). I was thinking ' Sevv' as in "Go raibh (Revv) maith agaith." But Irish has so many, different dialects, as you two well know! Anyway you're brilliant, the pair of you! Maith thú!
This duo are fantastic at harmonies, and we’ve gotten to watch them just get better together, you should absolutely watch more of them.

Agreed - Allie's ability to convey emotion both in her voice and from her audience in reaction is unparalleled and has been since she was 11 starting out. Everyone cries.
Totally undisciplined, Allie Sherlock's voice is truly a diamond in the rough. Her distinct dialect is endearing and her lovely voice pulls you right in once she opens her mouth. Imagine her in a studio with a competent producer. I can and she would be a star. Cheers!

Oh my, I love these two young ladies performing together! Beautiful harmonies, the female version of the Bee Gee's. Sive (Saibh) is great! They're both gorgeous! These two, Saibh and Allie, sound like angels together. Saibh's voice and beautiful eyes are wonderful. Allie with her spine tingling ending! Truly shows Allie's potential. Allie's smile is as iconic as her voice. She just melts my heart. I usually watch this video before going to bed every night, this is easily my favorite video. Those two angels singing let's me feel there is hope for our world. Imagine if they had time to rehearse? Mother nailed this review. P.S. ladies Allie sang with another young man named Seamus.

I find in the Celtic tradition a great fascination in naming, and I see a certain analogy with the names given

Can’t breath ..is so powerful,,,,,gut wrenching...make sure you watch the 2 minute 50 second version. In the last second of the video, her dad who was filming it, sees her emotion, gets her attention..and validates it ( touching moment in time)

If you want more of Saibh (Sive as in the No. Five) and Jacob plus band, Dublin Concerts, Fluttertone and the Arts Council did a live stream from The Sound House, Dublin on 28 December. Saibh, "the sad song girl", did a mix of covers and originals, and Jacob did mostly originals, with covers "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak and "everything i wanted" by Billie Eilish - Jacob invited Saibh on stage for a duet with the Billie Eilish number. The band had 2 of The 3 Busketeers - the drummer and the bass guitarist - three Brasilian guys living and busking in Dublin, who, also, perform often with Allie.

Saibh's name is pronounced as 'Sive' so it rhymes with 'five' the bh isn't pronounced as a 'b'
Allie actually just turned 16, and I believe Saibh is also 16
There are far more regular rules for the pronunciation of Irish than there are for English. Don't forget that the two languages are not related and Roman sctipt isn't really designed to spell Irish words because it can't capture all the sounds properly. The pronunciation of Irish names and words in general is easy peasy if you know the rules of Irish pronunciation but not so easy for a monolingual English speaker
