This video gets the Video of the Year award from me. I've had this problem for-ever as I use Lightburn on my laptop at any of 4 workstations, each with their own monitor I dock to. I just changed the compatibility setting in properties and voila - I can now read the menus without a magnifying glass. Thank you thank you thank you!
I fought with these exact same issues since I purchased LB (
out of all your videos, this is probably the best because of my pixel sense screen it was always a pita so stop using it and just used standard my old aio with 1080p resolution. issue also replicated worse on my tablet due to its 1600p resolutions. might be able to start using lightburn with a stylus now
1000 pounds of frustration just fell off my brain. Thanks!
I want laser and move to be on the same window. Not tabbed.
Currently there is not an option to combine two separate windows into one. However, if you have at least the minimum resolution for the default layout you can have both visible at the same time and not tabbed.
First off Great video ! My video request; How to bring multiple lightburn files in with out kicking the other file out . Sometimes I start a project without a clear idea where that project will end . And I don’t create everything from scratch , I will take parts from different places Trace them save them ect…
Use “Import” instead of “Open” to bring a 2nd project into the current one. It won’t keep the layer settings for the 2nd project, but it will bring in the vectors and images.
Thank you this has been killing me with my dual monitor setup I thought I was the only one lol.
Did you come out with a new version or update to 1.14.01? Downloaded a LB project yesterday from someone on YT and received the compatibility warning window as mine is 1.14.00. I don't see anything else available. The sight I got the file from has not answered my question about where he got 1.14.01 so I thought I would ask you here. Thank you and absolutely love LB, your software has taken me to NEW levels in my laser work!!! So, thank you!
My issue is that when my library box is at bottom I can't press save as button there seems to be a translucent box over the top of it so I have to ungroup the box and then press save as
Then at this point when I try to drag it over to we're it was the blue box doesn't appear and it can't put it back so I have to keep closing it and then open the window tab again it's a nightmare
What is the resolution of the screen you are using? Have you already tried combining the library and laser windows with the cuts and layer window to save space?
Yeah, it sure does not save the settings applied... I have to reconfigure every time I open it up.
This should not be the case. If you are still having problems with this reach out to our team - support@lightburnsoftware.com
color palete presets are missing now all are 100 spped 20 power
@@javieruriel6764 Those aren’t missing - you have LightBurn set to reset to default layer settings on new file. If you want it to remember whatever you used last you can turn off that setting, or you can change the preset it starts with by clicking “Make default” in the Cut Setting Edit window.
THANK YOU FOR THE FIX!
Hello i love your video very straight forward and easy to folloew. I somehow lost my color palette and cannot seem to be able to locate it anywhere in lighyburn. My cut palette is already on. Someone had advised me to do that but it was already on. Can u help me .thanks
Maximize the window by clicking the small rectangle in the upper-fright corner (assuming you are on Windows). Your window is too tall, and the palette it likely off the bottom, or hidden under the Windows bar at the bottom of the screen.
@@lightburnsoftware7189 omg it worked your a genius. Thank you so so much. I really appreciate you. 🤗🤗🤗
Thank You
The explanation is much appreciated, but there's still more to be done.
I use LB on my workshop computer with 2 screens - one is a 20" HD screen, the other is a 8" 720p (installed on the machine). I design on the 20" screen and control the laser from the 8" screen.
Ideally, the floating panels would be able to stand on their own, so I can put the laser control panel on my small screen
The windows can be floated to a separate screen. My primary setup is two stacked monitors and there is no problem pulling the laser control window to the second monitor while leaving the primary software/workspace on the other.
Perfect Information 👍
