Hey girl! I'm kinda new too. Been soaping for about 4 months now and have recently delved into using fresh ingredients. I've read a couple of blogs about it. Wsp has a good one! Basically you need to use rhse things as a juice or puree in your soap. Some add them to the LS, some to their batch oils. The only requirement for either method is to discount at least half of your fresh additive amount from your required water amount when making your LS. WSP goes into more detail but it's basically the same method but they discount from less or more from their water, it's been a while since I read it. Hopefully Mrs.Cory will get back with you for a more precise answer but this is the method I use and my soap turns out great and doesn't go rancid or promote bacteria growth.

Hi there! If you are making cold process soap with fresh fruit puree, the soap will not rot unless you do something wrong, lol! the sodium hydroxide will naturally preserve the soap during the soap making process. If you use too much fruit it could go bad. Soap with natural purees will last about a year and even then, I have not had one go rancid, they just sort of lose their color and fragrance. I hope this helps. If you have not checked out my chocolate banana soap recipe, you should go look at it, it has a free recipe in the description box. :)

Hi there, you can absolutely use this scrub on your body! It was formulated as a facial scrub so you may like more sugar in a body scrub. I wouldn’t use more sugar than this for the face though

I would make mine without lemon cause it can be too harsh on the skin and isn’t good for the skin

I think so, however, I would add the turmeric very sparingly, try a half to 1 percent of the shea butter.
