I thought he kind of did in DK64? Because you know he was in one of the minecart courses in the last level of DK64. But I would love to see him again in the next DKCR game, which will definitely have K. Rool in it since he is in Smash now.

This was how brilliant Dave Wise was. I'm of the opinion that Rareware (The creators of the DKC series) were even higher-quality developers than Nintendo themselves. His DKC3 GBA soundtrack is incredibly underrated. It's in 8 bit audio and no one has restored that brilliant soundtrack by Dave Wise yet. Drawn and Quartered tried and they did a great attempt, but it is more of a remix.
I just came. DKC2 has by far the best soundtrack of all games I played so far. And hearing them restored to its full glory is just unbelievable. Please never stop until you have restored ALL songs from all DKC-games!
UPDATE: Northern Hemispheres and Tree Top Rock are near complete and just need slight tweaks. Unfortunately some sounds are currently untraceable so have used the closest substitute i could find to a HD version from the Roland instrument sets. Once done, will be uploading:)

I have discontinued my attempts as I was not able to complete the tracks I was working on to a high enough quality nor to a proper restoration due to missing the original instruments. I am happy a lot more people discovered this project from these videos and can continue to find more.
My friend Tony beat DKC2 at my house, but he never played Kaptain K. Rool’s Lost World level or manage to collect all the hero coins in each level. So far, I owned the DKC2 players guide by Nintendo Power three times. I now have my third copy and I’m using that one to complete the New 3DS XL Virtual Console version of the game.

Every time I look at these I get more confused but heres a quote from when i asked him about it "Yeah that's mine but I didn't even drop the new samples in. I rebuild the tracks with the compressed samples first to make sure they sound right but it doesn't even sound right yet. I didn't even make an MP3. She must have exported it from the project file"

Imagine if the snes cd was released they would,ve definitely used these original samples instead, and they would,ve used higher res & higjter color depth graphics instead, maybe they even would,ve added anime cut scenes to it as well. I can only imagine a remastered MSu2 version of this game for the SD2SNES cartride.

I have discovered that in his restorations, the bass is not deep enough and in some areas it doesn’t seem like a perfect restoration. I have a question, what exactly did you do to improve these restorations?
