This was recorded on the night of MLK's assassination, as was a version of Piece of My Heart floating around UA-cam. Both recordings are the best recorded live versions of the songs Janis ever did - the band had either started, or was soon to start, recording Cheap Thrills, and these versions are very similar in arrangement and vocals. That's a good thing - Janis tended to oversing both songs later in her career. These recordings are priceless.

VERY RARE . Her best band too . Mostly hair to see , but the sixties had the original hair bands .
