Hi, thanks for making me want to stay away from stensils, I draw alot and have changed to sir brush to get more depth. I do dragon's and would like to be better at my skull work. I would like to a course, at some point. I'm from Australia. Thanks for sharing, 💀🤘
Yeah--excellent freehand skull! So many videos on YT are "airbrushed skulls using the such and such stencil"! I suppose.....if one can't actually draw to start with. One bit of advice--zoom in closer to your painting so viewers can see your work better, especially the fine details. You should try an Olympos HP100-C (.30mm)....it's the original version of the Iwata HP-C and I can guarantee it sprays better than the HP-C. I mostly use Olympos MP200-C Microns (.23mm) and an SP-B (.18mm). For larger areas I've got an Iwata HP-CH (until I get an HP100-C to replace it) and an old Paasche VL. I still have my one and only Iwata CM-C Micron but I never use it. Have you done any airbrushing on leather jackets/vests? Leather is my favorite surface to airbrush on.....in part because though it's technically considered a fabric, you can use techniques from automotive painting like pin striping and gold leaf work--also color shifting pearls. One other question--what make/model video recorder are you using? Right now I've only got a cheap pseudo-Go Pro and I'm not impressed with it at all with it.
cool, i'll try to get a closer camera set-up. i used to do jackets but not much any more. i just record with my phone. when my channel grows and gets monetized i may invest in better equipment. until then i will just use a phone.
@@AirbrushingWithThomas You're only using your phone?!? Damn, I still only have an old flip-phone! I'm going to try using my pseudo-Go Pro this weekend while working on a black leather jacket--it's really smooth, supple lambskin so it should take gold leaf very nicely.
I've never seen any of your videos up until today. Great job on the skull. I've been practicing on a 4ft x 250ft roll of frosted clear one sided stick vinyl. originally thinking I'd make wall art, and so far just make a lot of trial and errors preparing for TShirts. I was wondering, if you are able to make anything Edgar Allan Poe' esk. ? Raven specifically with a Reaper and Scathe
Shit man thats a dragon mad as hell.... Dude you got to tattooin man love the dam good work man can't wait till I get the money to get one loli just found this man hell ya I am subscribe now
amazing ...now i know with the createx airbrush colors are kinda thick ,more thick than wicked or illustration colors ,so my question is how much reducer do you use ..i have gsi micron brushes .18 thats the reason im asking ,by the way that looks unreal...gotta love freehand
Thanks, i only use createx on shirts, and i just use it straight out of the bottle. If i were going to paint on a more expensive surface i might use wicked, or if i were going to do really high detail realism, then i might use illustration colors. For those paints, the amount of reducer i use would probably vary from color to color or surface to surface.
And i only use the iwatas hp-cs so i am not sure about the brushes you have. If you want to paint shirts, i would just invest in a few other airbrushes that are good for all different work. I am assuming the microns are mainly for high detail smaller scale work?
No no subscriber you going to hold dude now he's looking forward to seeing some of your heart it would be nice to see someone t-shirts that you've already done that you have for sale I can't imagine how much they love but whatever let me know somewhere or somehow cuz I just subscribe to your channel Alice is actually the first time that I'm watching you but of course I just started airbrushing so I'll probably end up asking you a lot of questions I'm 66 years old I love motorcycles I love the new bikes photos of course and I love customizing them so I'm really looking forward on the journey on your channel have a great day and thank you Don Bradford
I adjust my pressure as I work. Some of the paints are a little thinner so they may require less pressure. And for the nozzle, I just use the ones that come standard on the Iwata HP-CS.
The intro picture is fuñny ,when I was younger and working. Temp I could use a tape measure and the group of young black guys, evedently couldn't So they give the job to me😂 and they were sorta upset about it, and called me a blue eyed. Devil. And he looks like they were discribeing me ,here's the kicker I have hazel eyes ? So that was a Prejudice ,I just over looked ,a lot of times in life you deal with things that others wanna put on you deservedly or not zI just 😂 laughed it off..😊
Hey man i like your work, do you ever paint motorcycle parts for people? My back went out on me when i was loading my harley in my truck a few years ago long story short i dropped my bike out of the back of my truck 😐 the rear fender took the biggest hit. I pulled most of the dent out but ive really been wanting to just get a new fender, have no idea who painted the bike and havent seen anyone with as close a style to the paint until i watched this video… not sure why i cant add a photo to this comment but I’m gonna switch my profile pic to a picture of the tank on my bike for you to look at. If it looks like something you could match defiantly would like to talk further about it. Either way your work looks bad*** keep up the good work. * its my first Harley and my brother found it for me. Since he isn’t around anymore I’ve been wanting to get it fixed back up.
Absolutely flawless!! Plus I'm loving the soundtrack it really add's another dimension to your video's!!!
Thanks for watching🤘🤘🤘
I'm very impressed, used a sketch as inspiration and turned it into something different. Best of artists are not predictable. Keep up the work man.

the paints you use are thinned or straight from the bottle? Which type is it?
On T-Shirts I use Createx paint and it's just straight out of the bottle.
@@AirbrushingWithThomas Createx for painting on fabrics or normal? Will it wear out?

Hey, thanks for the comment and for checking out my video. I don’t do any paint work though, just paintings for fun and for UA-cam.
