I like how simple and robust JAZ model D movement is, and plates not too thin. I have JAZ Kinic with calibre model D, which I restored, made bushing for time great wheel (mainspring wheel) on dial side, sharpen balance staff points, clean and wash everything. I call it "Chernobyl" because of radioactive luminous paint. Recently I restored Kienzle alarm (from 50es maybe?), installed 5 bushings in it, including 2 custom made bushings for time great wheel, sharpen balance staff, replace trundles (pins) in pinions on time train, re-blacken hands with bluing solution. p.s. you need hand puller for removing minute hand

'Mod D' might stand for 'Modèle déposé', or 'registered design'? Similar to Pat. or Reg. in UK
