I feel like a huge part of wanting to share in it all is a desire to be understood. When I left evangelical Christianity (was Pentecostal, specifically) and came out as an atheist/agnostic, my family constantly said things like “oh you still believe in God deep down” or “she just wanted to sin” or “she just wanted to date that nonbeliever guy” or “she’s just mad at God” - so on and so forth. When you love people, you want them to know your genuine heart and intentions in it all. But I think what I ultimately had to understand is that the ONLY one who will fully understand me is myself. I’ll share to those who are interested, and I write a lot and talk to friends with similar viewpoints for the venting support!

Great episode. Family is tough: I have struggled with not always being invited to family church activities and wanting to support the family. Dress of partners is also hard. When my wife left the church, she wanted an additional piercing. She asked me what I though about piercings and I gave an honest answer (it is not my thing). She took it as me trying to control her decision, and there were hard feelings. Then there are times after an event, when it seems she would have preferred me to dress in a certain way. She cares and I just wish she would ask for what she likes (then I have the option of doing it for her or not). I don't know. You have to talk, but there needs to be a respect and understand there. Very vulnerable territory.
All the time people refer to my boyfriend as my husband and it’s kind of funny or maybe annoying. I refer to him as my “partner”. We don’t need a wedding/ring/legality to be life partners ❤
Oh no to the person who wrote in and gave that bishop there street address?! The missionaries may show up at your door if you dont tell them no contact
If you leave removing your records long enough the church might do it on your behalf (I really want to be a fly on the wall as Leadership discuss if they should excommunicate the prominent exmo creators)
I think if someone was a vocal member they reserve the right to share the truth with members. If you didn’t have a UA-cam channel proselytizing the church it doesn’t make a lot of sense to start a channel speaking out against the church.
Her videos are a chopped up mess. The reason they’re chopped up is because she talks, makes no sense and has to do big edits so she doesn’t talk a bunch of nonsense.
If you don’t like her vids, you don’t have to watch them. Hope that helps! 😘 Also you watching and commenting just boosts her videos so more people see them
@@michelleweaver8048 I ♥️ her vids. It’s her giant moles that aren't very attractive. Have you noticed a lot of people that left the church are now coming back? Do you think this chick will get over smoking pot & come back?
Looking at your comments on her past videos made me realize you’re just another internet bully. How “Christ-like” of you ❤️ Thanks for boosting her engagement!
"It is not your job to diffuse an awkward situation." Seriously, I need this... every silence SEEMS awkward!

I recommend checking out Tanner Adell too! She does really fun country pop. She’s also ex-Mormon

@styphlynne8253 you're a perfect example of the absence of mental capacity. Fake.

I have listened to every single podcast and I have never thought this. I think her videos/podcasts are well thought out and executed beautifully.
