Well with no release time for 225/45R15 until Q4 next year guess I'll stay with Falken RT660s.

The slow roll-out of additional sizes for Q4 2025 is unfortunate, and puzzling. I would have expected a sooner release date for the additional tires, especially considering the popularity of a 225/45R15. For that given sizing, the RT600 is probably the best tire in the 200TW class currently.

I want to know how it behaves with heat. I main autox since my nearest track is far away

Agreed. Early reports are that it tolerated heat pretty well during the launch event, but that is second-hand information. I'm really looking forward to some back-to-back testing of the Hoosier's with the current top crop of 200TW tires.

@PerfectLapPodcast you think it's more comparable to the Nankang crs v2 or Potenza Re71rs? Re71rs "turn on" quickly. The CRS take a few laps. Ones used in autox nationals the other is a favorite for time trials

My understanding is that they turn on pretty quick, likely quicker than the CRS V2s. But that is based on use of the tires on heavy BMW M cars (3800+ lbs). So, you might expect the ramp up of the tire to be pretty quick. I do wonder what the tire will be like on a much lighter car that is sub-3000 lbs.

The 7/32 rule is insanely stupid considering shaving tires is legal.

It is interesting that (1) SCCA still has that rule around (I do wonder what the genesis of that rule was and why is was put in place, and is it still applicable anymore?), and (2) that Hoosier decided to go 5/32 regardless of the issue with the SCCA rule. Does Hoosier know something that we don't (maybe SCCA is planning to mark out that portion of the tire rule so these become legal)? Hopefully we'll get some answers in the coming months.
