中学生時代これを聴きながら眠ってた。気が付いたら社会人になっていましたが、まだこの曲を聴きながら寝ています。

I believe the girl in the video is the old earth (the one now in ruins) and the baby is the new world. I think when the world officially "ends" the girl dies (end of old world) and then the world starts again. the baby is the new world as I already said.))

I think,this song is a requiem dedicated to the soul of the baby who miscarries.
I might be WAY off here, but this is how I've always interpreted it. It's a song about a woman and a baby living in a dying world, sharing their final moments together before the world ends. Hence the title: "World's end song."
The girl pranced across the meadow, lit up by fireflies. Her brown innocent eyes light up with excitement as she spot's a teddy bear laying on the grass. She holds the bear close, in a embrace of that only a child can give.

今聴いても本当に良い歌。 私がこの曲でこの方を知りましたが、この歌を初めて聴いた時の感じは本当に生々しく思い出します。 今年に入って初めてまたこの曲を再生したんですが まだいい歌ですね。
Every tin I listen to this, I burst out in tears. This song is definitely about a young girl who has a baby. The baby dies soon afterward. The girl weeps for her child and she feels unbearable pain and sorrow beyond measure. She wants the world to end. She can only see sadness. She would do anything for her child, to be with her child. So, she kills herself. Her world ended with her baby. She had nothing left. Nothing to live for. 😖😭😭😭😭
