Literacy rate is higher in Chitral and but we do need technology and leadership in politics so we can advance like other regions. However, after being part of Pakistan in 1971 we didn't see any advancement, A bright example is the road you see in these videos is made by Mehatars etc and the Pakistan government is just exploiting our culture in the name of tourism....

I just came back from Bumbureet after spending one and a half day there. All the people like to visit that place in June to August but Its more calm and cool in November than the rush days of summer. You can sit with the Kalashi women, men, shopkeepers, farmers etc and chat about the customs, rituals, traditions, food, etc and their local herbal medicine as well (Which they like to talk too much). Of course, We from the plain areas, can feel the chilling cold but still if you have proper cloths, Its not an issue. The colors of autumn are better than the colors of spring.
