Impressive, but from attestation from deaf people, it should be known that lip reading is less of an exact science, or even an art, and more of a gamble. You only really get a fraction of what is said.

It actually cant be put into words how much wren has been becoming a role model for me. The videos hes done are always unique, you can see the passion he puts into every project. And he also doesnt hide his frustrations when he doesnt feel like he is where he wants to be during a project. Yet he continues pushing.
I need to work on that myself. And seeing this has actually been a huge help for me as a creator to see wren push through much worse than what I am going through to bring his projects to life.

This video has a different feel, a different vibe than any you've ever done. Close-up shots instead of medium/long. Shallow DOF. Blended opacity transitions. More sentimental music. I love it. What's up? New editor? New shooter? Directorial choice change for this channel? Whatever is happening, I like this shake up. I love the change. Well done!
Presumably this is because it's meant for the Crew Cuts series on their website. They have to justify the extra effort in the stuff they're not giving away totally free and a sample like this illustrates that very well. If this is what they all look like with the same level of polish, it's a worthy product.

A guy named Daniel edits these. Crew Cuts is basically the successor to their vlog series (brought back mostly by the old/longtime fans) so yea it has that certain vibe to it. It mostly consists of BTS and random daily activities, it's really good.
BTW Crew Cuts has been going on for a while, this is just a sneak peek for people who haven't seen it.
I feel the same, everything looks more cinematic. Love this new style (and I seed every people use rode wireless go, new kind of mic?)

I really love Corrodor crew for their hard work and passion on what they do. But, above all, i love the bond and how they support each other so well through it all.

To everyone who doesn't hear intro and outro:
I don't know why, but voice track is out of phase with itself, and when you mix two signals (stereo) to mono (one signal) when one of them is fully out of phase - they got canceled out. This process is happening on mono speakers like phone or even some laptop ones. Imagine sine wave, and then on top of it another sine wave. Then move one of them by 180 degrees (pi). Now peaks of one sinus are on top of valleys of other one. So when you add those 2 signals together - you get 0, so no signal at all.

I'm assuming the audio tracks for the beginning and end are the opposite speaker that my phone works on because I can't hear anything but music. It's a true MONOlogue.
The voice is "out of phase."The left audio track does exactly the opposite of the right audio track. Your phone combines the left and right audio tracks. Both together make silence.
0:00-0:23 - Legit made me worried for a moment there. I thought the speakers on my tablet had gone bad xD

I can’t hear Wren at the very beginning and the very end of the video. The rest of the video, I can hear him. Are the audio tracks set to the correct audio channels? They might be set to surround sound channels.
yeah there's definitely some weird stereo stuff on the intro and outro, made me a little seasick lol

Yes, I think the channels are phase-inverted, so it sounds like it's coming from very far away on the right and left on stereo speakers and on mono devices the channels cancel each other out. It probably is fine on mono devices that only play the one channel instead of mixing them together.

It finally clicked that Peter looks like the lead signer of Ylvis (What does the Fox Say) after it eating at me for a while.
Dude, mix Peter with Jesse La Flair and you have pretty much exactly that lead singer guy! I would also like to point out that I somehow knew what Ylvis was the moment I read it. I don't know why on earth I remembered that name, but apparently it has stayed with me all this time.

God these videos are fucking amazing. The unscripted with the scripted, the casual and the serious - it all merges together so well parallel with the edit to make a compelling and moving video. Story telling masters at work.
As someone who has broken their clavicle and knows how badly it hurts I really feel for you, Wren. It's especially annoying when the break is on your dominant side. Hats off to the Wren as well as the rest of the Corridor Crew for getting this done.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they still had a bit of a "workflow" for it from when Adrian broke his collarbone before. Like, they've been through something similar (although the scopes of their respective jobs are different), so they at least had some idea of some of the accommodations that needed to be made to get things done in a timely fashion.

Broke my collarbone, can confirm it is the worst pain. Couldn't draw for months and I was also drummer in a band at the time -_-
I've broken my clavicle as well and after seeing, hearing, and experiencing life with a broken leg/ankle, I'm quite glad I was on that side of the spectrum

The smash box Nat made Wren is so thoughtful and nerdy cool it brought a tear to my eye.
A suggestion for Wren - use an ergonomic mice (with the ball on it) / trackball mice so you don't have to move the arms, just the hand and fingers and make yourself more at ease without any more pain.

Wren is like the life of this group, as much as i love every single person Wren really is my favorite and has been for a while, hes the first one i separately followed on insta, hes the one whos videos i love the most, and i think he really holds this team together, and i really cant wait to see the great things he does when he heals and even before that.

The intro actually does have sound, but it's perfectly out of phase for left and right channels. I thought it sounded very weird through my speakers, and sure enough - flipping the "mono" switch made the voice completely disappear. Whether it was intentional or not... who knows :D
I think it's simpler than this. If you have a surround setup, the audio is perfectly audible in the rear speakers. Someone goofed while mixing the audio.
The ending is only if the right ear too... I had only music in my left ear and thought it was weird 😂

@@Coordman Axeon is right. Left and right channels are 180° out of phase. Nothing to do with surround or anything. This is UA-cam. We're dealing with stereo. When listening on mono speakers, left and right are summed and they cancel out since they're out of phase.
@@Coordman Also, UA-cam doesn't support surround so what you're hearing in the rear is probably just the stereo signal being sent to the surrounds through a matrix of some kind. You're not getting discrete 5.1 on UA-cam. So you should probably check your setup. You don't want stereo content to play across all your speakers.
I snapped my collar bone at 5 years old and the bone hasn't felt right for 15 years. It still feels fragile all these years later, so I feel for you Wren.

I broke my collarbone coming off a skateboard earlier this year. Definitely feel for your struggle Wren. A few months of pain, the actual nightmare of lying down to put on a t-shirt and stuff but I'm all better now. Hang in there!
