It totally blew my mind when I first heard it, what an unreal transition. It still gives me chills every time when it just punches you in the face then they hit you with it again 20 seconds later.
Peace Sells is, without a doubt, Megadeth's best album and one of the best thrash albums all time. I first bought it when I was in high school and I still listen to it today. Thanks for all the covers from this masterpiece. Your playing is right on and your transitions are smooth.
I live in an interesting time where I don't know how to play guitar, but I get to watch people play some of my favorite riffs. I think you nailed it, man. Thanks for reminding me of a kickass song!
Just play some every day. Learn a new riff or two a day. And have fun. If you are just a beginner, obviously don't expect to play like this in one or two days. It takes time but again, have fun.
Great technique. I always teach all of my students to lead with the pointer and trail with the pinky. Now take it to the next level. I would just add to try to play all of the rhythms from the 5th fret down. Jump to A# and you't won't have to slide as far. This is Megadeth's best work, and you nail it. Bravo.
You make the solos look so easy damnit. I love Dave's solos for being so rhythmic, repeated patterns and just like riffs but ... I dunno I just woke up
@1:16-@1:20 With how cool the scale shift and transitioning sounds right here I don't know how someone playing couldn't go fucking nuts. I'd be banging the shit outta my head. Lmao. Either way, this was a very good cover. Keep up the good work!
Seeing you perform this magnificently made me realize I always wanted to try learning myself but waited until it was too late. I don't have the finger dexterity anymore to do it.
Everybody comments on Dave's riffs. Many of the riffs Dave puts in his songs could be individual songs themselves. Most bands come up with some good riffs to get through an album. Dave puts them all in one song.
Incredible job ! I heard the rumor the Peace Sells tone (wich is my favorite metal tone) was a Bill Lawrence... You abslutely nailed it man. Incredible job and groove !
FINALLY!!! I can finally play this song from start to finish, and so much of my progress is thanks to you and this video! Your covers on point my friend! edit; I lied.. still can't figure out 4:47
Having seen it played, I can now see why they called this the conjuring. They fucking poured their souls into this man. I couldn't conceive something remotely resembling this in a million years... Sick skills btw dude. Kudos.
See I'm a drummer I ain't understand the rhythm at 1:33 was like that. The rhythm is so complex. You absolutely cleared 1:04 and resonated some notes I never picked up on
2 people called the priest. Fuck those losers! You rip man, nice cover. Have to learn this myself. That's also the exact guitar I've been wanting for a while, but with the shark teeth inlays. Cheers
Great cover to "The Conjuring" my favorite song of "Peace sells" (besides my favorite album), could you make a cover of my favorite song of Megadeth? "Rattlehead" ... would be great, greetings from Chile.
Hey there, a gem hidden in 2016 I guess, 6 years rolling and still under 100k, although it's a great cover! That Jackson, is it short scaled (24" like Fender Mustang perhaps) or it was just camera angle effect?
Whomp tbh everything was better back in the 70-80s. Michael Jackson was pop and he was the king. Metallica and megadeth were kings in metal. Rock was amazing with montley crue. Kansas. Journey. Fleetwood Mac. Boston. AC/DC. Etc. and rap was amazing was Tupac and biggie. And now each of those genes of music were amazing in their own respective styles. Now each of those nowadays are total shit
I can't help but admire Dave for singing while playing these riffs
It’s very impressive 👍
He can’t sing
He's also standing and playing them which makes all of it X2 difficult
@@twiztid133he talks 😭
@@twiztid133shut yo ass up 💀
2:56 probably the greatest metal riff ever made
I have FUCKING never heard of a more accurate statement.
Amazing ass riff, although I don't think there is a certain one best if that makes any sense bcz there are so many phenomenal riffs in metal.
@@nicoperez1031 damn right
The riff at 1:45 is pretty damn good too, that’s the one I keep coming back to the song for lol
It totally blew my mind when I first heard it, what an unreal transition. It still gives me chills every time when it just punches you in the face then they hit you with it again 20 seconds later.
1:45 One of the coolest Megadeth riffs ever
Edit: Yeah I just went in my room and went at it for 30 minutes now I got that riff down
the whole song is badass. learn the whole thing bro its worth it.
Pretty simple to play but difficult to write
Love it!
2:56 best rift ever . so glad you play it on that nice JACKSON. good job.
I totally agree !
I truly believe it's the best metal riff ever. Can't think of a better one years after.
Right!?!? Hardest part of any song, ever!
Yeah man awesome riff
so fkgn good that riff, is amazing, the darkness...
such a great song, the solo at 1:04 always gets me.
You nailed it dude!! :)
Thank you ! ;)
Kaosware j
After all these years, I still find it amazing that dave sings whilst playing these riffs at the same time.
Peace Sells is, without a doubt, Megadeth's best album and one of the best thrash albums all time. I first bought it when I was in high school and I still listen to it today. Thanks for all the covers from this masterpiece. Your playing is right on and your transitions are smooth.
The chord played at about 3:02 is the nastiest, grindiest, most vicious chord ever recorded.
lol e power chord?
Lmao i think the e powerchord is quite literally the most used ''Chord'' in metal history
@@nigel7779 he means the riff
@@johand.h1087 he means the riff
@@nigel7779 I think he means those odd devilish chords Dave uses to replace it
1:33 Baddest fucking riff ever!
I live in an interesting time where I don't know how to play guitar, but I get to watch people play some of my favorite riffs. I think you nailed it, man. Thanks for reminding me of a kickass song!
Never too late to pick up a guitar :D
Brad Noldea is 100% right. I started playing almost 2 yrs ago and I'm 45.
Never too late
Just play some every day. Learn a new riff or two a day. And have fun. If you are just a beginner, obviously don't expect to play like this in one or two days. It takes time but again, have fun.
best megadeth covers in youtube
Can't believe UA-cam took this long to recommend this channel to me. These are great covers and mixing is solid. Amazing playing.
1 of, or If not The Best Metal Riff Ever
At 2:35 is when the Ultimate Warrior comes out of the dressing room with a roid rage ready to smoke his opponent!
This album has so many great riffs...! 1:45 2:57!!!
The solo after the intro is insane!!!!
I couldnt even tell a difference from the studio version, good job it sounded perfect.
That last run is just sick so much harder than I thought its quite awkward and unconventional cant wrap my head around it
This sounds so good! I just found this in 2023 and love the guitar tones you have too.
Great technique.
I always teach all of my students to lead with the pointer and trail with the pinky. Now take it to the next level.

Bravo.
Unreal mate, haven't seen one of those Jackson's in a long time!
Mustaine is singing while playing these riffs....fucking incredible to say the least.
Excellent cover , a pleasure to watch 👌
Dave actually does octave tapping in the intro with those power chords. Other then that pretty much nailed it brah
Doesnt got 24 frets
He picks it in the studio version
Yeah he does that live but in the studio version it's 2 tracks
@@IGotBadNewsforYou you don't need 24 frets, you just tap where the 24th would be.
There is more than one way to play a song
You make the solos look so easy damnit.
I love Dave's solos for being so rhythmic, repeated patterns and just like riffs but ... I dunno I just woke up
Need to another one w the tapping Dave doest live at the beginning, hes incredible while playing and singing.
Enough riffs in one song to make a whole album.
The album of a lifetime.
@1:16-@1:20 With how cool the scale shift and transitioning sounds right here I don't know how someone playing couldn't go fucking nuts. I'd be banging the shit outta my head. Lmao. Either way, this was a very good cover. Keep up the good work!
Gonna b honest, this has been in my playlist for 6 yrs
You just can't play this song without banging your head. Good Job !!
exceptional and inspiring thank you
I believe the start riff is played with nodal harmonics, not fretted.
Are nodal harmonics another word for tapping??
Seeing you perform this magnificently made me realize I always wanted to try learning myself but waited until it was too late. I don't have the finger dexterity anymore to do it.

2:15 is just inhuman
this is awesome

1:04 siempre,siempre,siempre.
LVC45 CONTRERAS jajaja claro
The solo sounds so muted in the original song. Love hearing it. Great job.
god idk how u keep ur cool at 2:50.. every time I play on guitar I lose my shit and headbang the fuck out of myself and lose tempo. lmao great job
Sick bro! One of my favorite Mustaine solos. Yoy killed it!
Fantastic cover
2:56 is what it sounds like descending into Hell, whether you like it or not
First solo I reckon
there are so many riff changes in this song its amazing to think and this was absolutely flawless! fuking killer and tone is spot on.
good playing!!!
Thank you !
Dave somehow taps the chromatic decline in the intro. I’m still trying to figure that out
Tapped harmonics
Silver Machine yes you’re right! and... correct intonation 😅 mine was off
That's for live versions! In the Studio he actually played the notes like he did on the video.
See I'm a drummer I ain't understand the rhythm at 1:33 was like that. The rhythm is so complex. You absolutely cleared 1:04 and resonated some notes I never picked up on

I like the way the guitars chop on Peace Sells 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Love that Jackson
One of my all-time favorite!
Dave goes through a lot of guitar players. Maybe he will see your UA-cam videos and give you a shot at it! Great guitar playing man!

Nice!!
Pretty good!
Dude youre insanely good
How in the world did we go from amazing stuff like Megadeth to Justin Bieber?
WE didn't, that's on a whole different generation... Hopefully when they all start hitting puberty they'll realize the error of their ways.
Who listens to Pop singers when they're in their mid 20's or early 30's? no one.
I wish that were true Joku, but there are still so much adults listening to Generation Y garbage.
Atleast pop was better back then.
