Celine has one of the best voices in the world. However, her songs are not that difficult. Her songs have appeared in almost all types of competitions. And they are really helpful for contestants.
You’re not bright either. This list is definitely not about how legendary your songs are. It’s about singers whose songs are hardest to sing. Songs of the singers on the list are definitely hard. Especially Mariah Carey’s songs that are like unnatainable to sing. Mariah and Whitney are surely way more legendary than Freddie who had never won any Grammys.
You should have left Kelly Clarkson off the list and included Lisa Fisher instead. Her voice is so smooth and velvety. And she can give those tender high notes with the best of them! Looking at you Mariah Carey.
She's not popular enough, and she doesn't have many hard songs other than How Can I Ease the Pain. Although she's one of the greatest singer of all time, the technique, vibrato and agility, the stamina... It's beyond mainstream singers such as Mariah, Beyoncé, Adele, Christina, Ariana, Aretha!
So many are defending their faves but in all honesty there’s no particular order for this list. It is vocally hard to cover any of these vocalist and also do it well. So many people cover them but never own it like the originals.
Might be an unpopular opinion but placing Whitney does not seem right to me She is definitely one of the best singers but when it comes to difficulty, some of the singers on lower list deserve it.
I would say any Whitney or Christina or Celine or Aretha song are very hard to sing because they got such beautiful and very powerful voices that even if I try to sing them it be can be really challenging 😅 Also they should have put or least mentioned Adele on this list her songs are really hard to sing too.
Their songs aren’t hard because they’re beautiful or powerful. Their songs are hard because of the vocal agility, vocal dynamics, musicality, breath support, belting, and technique needed.
@@sockygaldamez9492 all you need is talent and training and dedication and you’ll be able to sing their songs. You don’t need a “beautiful” tone. That’s subjective.
mariah is a studio-engineered singer. her studio records were produced through splice-and-combine method, plus multiple retakes, so they are almost impossibly difficult to sing live. not even she can sing them, that's why she ends up lipping the heck out of her own songs (and not even very good at it), lol
Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Heart, Def Leppard, Alicia Keys, Jerry Lee Lewis, Motley Crue, The Beastie Boys, Jefferson Airplane, Queen, Meat Loaf, Janet Jackson, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, Ritchie Valens, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Eric Carmen, Rick Astley, Ricky Martin, The Jonas Brothers, Hilary Duff, Aly and AJ, The Cheetah Girls, R5, James Brown, Elton John, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Lady A, and other singers should've been on the list. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎤🪗🎸🎸🎹🎹
With all due respect to my American friends, I think the Celine Dion case is a typical "American" misunderstanding. The average American audience, are the same people who believe Europe is located in France and the World Cup is an American event, among many other misconceptions. This is clear in many American talent shows, where any singer who belts, screams, or wails is deemed a "good singer," regardless of technique, emotion, or texture. As soon as a singer hits a high note, even if it's squeaky or shouty, they push their buzzers or turn their chairs. The focus is more on the "entertainment" rather than "talent". In my opinion, for the majority of the superficial American audience, Celine Dion's magnificence is simply incomprehensible. To be fair, this isn't the case for all Americans, but it certainly applies to many. I'm confident that most maestros, especially Celine's peers in the Vocal Trinity, would agree.
STRONGLY DESAGREE WITH THE LIST. MARIAH CAREY HAS THE MOST CHALLENGING CATALOGUE IN MUSIC HISTORY. SO DIFFICULT THAT SHE CAN'T REPRODUCE IT HERSELF. IF CÉLINE IS 7 YOU GUYS HAVEN'T LISTEN HER MUSIC ENOUGH I THINK. AND A LIST WITHOUT THE BARBRA STREISAND?? NO FRIENDS JUST NO!!! AND MICHAEL JACKSON, ALLOOO TRY TO SING MAN IN MIRROR, WHO'S LOVING YOU, THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL, SMOOTH CRIMINAL, EARTH SONG, YOU ARE NOT ALONE and come back.
The only time Mariah actually reproduced a song exactly the way it was in the studio was the Grammy's 1992 if it's over, and also hero because it is quite easy for her and she has surpassed the studio version many times.
Freddie Mercury should have gotten a spot instead of an honorable mention and maybe she doesn't belong on this list but Karen Carpenter's ability to sing so flawlessly in both high and low notes made her an absolute gem.
mariah carey songs are more difficult than whitney's song and celine power vocal anytime can beat whitney voice. whitney has a good voice but the media overrated her in many ways. toni braxton vocal are more unique than whitney.
Two Australian artists you should consider in this category John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes as well as try to sing the little river band song reminiscing that had Glenn shorrick
Because Mónica Naranjo isn’t American, she’s from Spain, but she could be recognized as one of the best singers in the world. Her song “Europa” is so complicated & complex.

freddie mercury in the honorable mentions? surely you jest.
It's beyond mainstream singers such as Mariah, Beyoncé, Adele, Christina, Ariana, Aretha!
kelly clarkson
Whitney songs are very easy you don't need to use every register like Mariah. U just only need to sing straight to cover WH song. Ur fun!
Whitney Houston and Prince
So many are defending their faves but in all honesty there’s no particular order for this list. It is vocally hard to cover any of these vocalist and also do it well. So many people cover them but never own it like the originals.
Might be an unpopular opinion but placing Whitney does not seem right to me
She is definitely one of the best singers but when it comes to difficulty, some of the singers on lower list deserve it.
@@squarcircle2254 that’s true but you need to have a pretty good voice also to even attempt to sing one of there songs.
@@sockygaldamez9492 all you need is talent and training and dedication and you’ll be able to sing their songs. You don’t need a “beautiful” tone. That’s subjective.
Celine Dion the best ever any language cover songs
mariah is a studio-engineered singer. her studio records were produced through splice-and-combine method, plus multiple retakes, so they are almost impossibly difficult to sing live. not even she can sing them, that's why she ends up lipping the heck out of her own songs (and not even very good at it), lol
She lips with her mouth closed 😢.
the runs of "nusrat fateh ali khan" are all like from heaven. he's Urdu qawal(singer). love him. ❤
Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Heart, Def Leppard, Alicia Keys, Jerry Lee Lewis, Motley Crue, The Beastie Boys, Jefferson Airplane, Queen, Meat Loaf, Janet Jackson, Alanis Morissette, Janis Joplin, Ritchie Valens, Michael Jackson, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Eric Carmen, Rick Astley, Ricky Martin, The Jonas Brothers, Hilary Duff, Aly and AJ, The Cheetah Girls, R5, James Brown, Elton John, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, David Bowie, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, Lady A, and other singers should've been on the list. 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎤🪗🎸🎸🎹🎹
Sorry only Elvis
Luther Vandross has the hardest songs to sing
😢 CELINE SHOULD BE NUMBER 1
Xtina... ❤
Whitney songs are singable by some artists today, unlike Mariah no one can even come close to hers HAHA SHE SHOULD BE THE ONE ALWAYS
Kelly clarkson
I think Amy Lee is an amazing singer with songs difficult to sing ❤
miljenko "the powerhouse" matijevic of steelheart needs to be added to this conversation.
Ummm let me say: Denise Williams, Phyllis Hyman, Lisa Fischer,Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Chante Moore, Keke Wyatt, Deborah Cox, Tamia, I can go on. 💙💙
Usually I would share a list like this to my socials for others to enjoy. This one, however, Celine #7? This list is flawed and unsharable.
mariah carey songs are more difficult than whitney's song and celine power vocal anytime can beat whitney voice. whitney has a good voice but the media overrated her in many ways. toni braxton vocal are more unique than whitney.
Not sure where she would fall on this list, but one musical tidbit I love is that Judy Garland was nicknamed “Little Leather Lungs”
Nightwish...especially the 2013 Wacken concert. Floor Jansen is great.
Some of these world class performers like Beyoncé, also dance all the time while performing does songs. That takes incredible dedication.
Two Australian artists you should consider in this category John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes as well as try to sing the little river band song reminiscing that had Glenn shorrick
Awesome song list
Because Mónica Naranjo isn’t American, she’s from Spain, but she could be recognized as one of the best singers in the world. Her song “Europa” is so complicated & complex.
Whitney Houston. Happy sunday morning, Rebecca, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Freddie Mercury, Steve Perry and Paul McCartney
Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. As well as Steve Perry from Joueny
Laura Pausini most be here
Celine #7 😅😂 i dont believe it all by myself is hardest songs ever
...no Donna Summer in the Top 10 list???
Gene Pitney another one, try singing “ Half Heaven Half Heartache “ and “ I’m Gonna Be Strong “
