    Thank you for giving us REAL NATIVE recipe!!! 🇳🇬🇳🇬Without the rubbish that other UA-camrs add such as garlic, ginger, etc. to owo so that they think they will look sophisticated online instead they are just rubbishing our grandmothers traditional food and recipes! Our heritage mixed with cumin! OMG They’re Just spoiling the authentic flavor in the name of “my own recipe uses garlic” 🙄
    Your ancestors are pleased with you and so am I for this authentic Urhobo recipe, thank you! 🤗

    This is a typical example of " food wen sweet, na money kill am" the food is so rich and tasty. All the protein combo is mad 😋😋😋

    I don’t add starch wen cooking my owo soup I prefer using garri only to serve as the thickener

    Must I use the potash?

    I was actually thinking of making this. Does potash has a Yoruba name? I grew up in Sapele but currently in Lagos, so I don't if it has another name.

    I never knew u use garri

    • @bettyausten9533
      @bettyausten9533 11 місяців тому +1

      You can use garri for thickening just the way you use pounded yam to thicken white soup
