We make this recipe in Middle East for long time ago, we call it ( labneh ) it's a traditional recipe for breakfast in Syria and Lebanon .. thank you chef
Aya Al Hamwi, Yes that is correct. 😊 Some called it Labneh, Turkish labneh, Labanese labneh, yoghurt cheese, labneh cream cheese, labneh cheese. “Labneh” is basically a soft cheese, similar to cream cheese. Very versatile. You can use it for baking, or add some herb to make it a bread spread. Next you will see how I use this labneh, yoghurt cheese or cream cheese to make “Japanese Cheese Cake”. The results is the same, and it is cheapest and easiest way to make cream cheese for those countries that aren’t available or too expensive. A great alternative to regular cream cheese. If anyone would like to or prefer to see cream cheese making out of milk, just leave a comment down below.
1 litter warm milk 1 tablespoon yoghurt. Mix them well and close the pan than wrap up with something like towel. You will have 1 kilo yoghurt after 6-7 hours. In this time you must not move milk never. Then open the pan and put it in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Then you can eat it. In web you can search “ Turkish Yoghurt”. I hope i could explain by my awesome English 😁🤷🏼♀️

Fatima Ahmed, the reason is so expensive because of the process of how they culturing the milk in the factory. In this video, we just use already cultured product (yoghurt) and strained it. The exact straining process as the factory. 😊
