New York is still the world's leading financial center and home to many of the world's largest banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, credit rating agencies, and private equity firm. The comparison with Douala relates to the idea that Infrastructure is the basic physical and organisational structures and facilities required for the development of economies and societies. Infrastructure includes water and sanitation, electricity, transport (roads, railways and ports), irrigation and telecommunications. Infrastructure provides the material foundations for development. Investments in infrastructure tend to require very large and indivisible financial outlays and regular maintenance. These investments shape the evolution of cities, markets and economies for generations and lock in particular patterns of urbanisation and water and energy use.
"Cameroon’s position in the Gulf of Guinea makes it a vital player in Central Africa. With 10,050 miles of the border shared with Nigeria and multiple entry points into the Central African Republic, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, the Republic of Congo, and Gabon, it’s a gateway between Central and West Africa with goods going in every direction.
The seaports of Douala and Limbe are critical to Cameroon’s position, as well as the volume of trade the Kribi deep port is going to bring when it’s completed. The landlocked countries of the Central African Republic and Chad receive most of their imports through Douala, while Chad exports oil through the Cameroon-Chad Pipeline that runs across Cameroon. Wood from Gabon and the Republic of Congo are exported through Cameroon with consumer goods going in the opposite direction.
A key facilitator in trade between Central African countries is a network of roads that carry food and commodities from Cameroon to its neighbors. The Nigeria-Cameroon highway supplies the region, and in the north, Cameroon is in league with Nigeria, Chad, and Niger over trade in the Lake Chad Basin. Central African countries also share a common central bank in BEAC, and a common currency, the Central African Franc CFA. Cameroon is a member of OHADA, a legal framework to harmonize corporate law across Central and West Africa with the aim of facilitating trade between African states and attracting investment."

Je trouvais le titre comparatif avec "New York" osé, mais j'avoue que je suis bluffé.
C'est bien la première fois que je suis fière d'envoyer une vidéo d'une Cameroun 🇨🇲 à mes frères et amis français.
Cette vidéo dégage une positivité et un aura incroyable.
Ça fait plaisir et ça donne des idées pour un retour pour investir et y rester.
Pourquoi certains dépeignent ce pays de façon aussi merdique. Alors que c'est franchement acceptable pour un pays en voie de se vouloir se développer.
Valorisation tous, ce pays qui mérites une meilleure reconnaissance et meilleure visibilité.

Oui et le ministere y travail deja , voila pourqu'oi il faud dire a certains depute de la nation de ne pas se metre sur la route du developement , on n'a deja commencer a detruire certains quartiers precaires comme Neuton Aeroport, et ce n'est pas tous on vas detruire beaucoup de quartier precaires de nos villes , Douala, Yaounde , Bertoua, Buea, Bamenda, Garoua, Maroua, Bertoua, bref c'est pour cela que les plans de constructions des logement socieaux on ete lancer .

This city need to do demolishing of all old buildings around deido akwa bali and bonabriso and build more modern day’s buildings if possible skyscrapers with that this city will be the best in central and west Africa.

La vidéo est de bonne qualité, même si elle a beaucoup zoomé sur Bali, un peu Akwa et un peu Bonanjo. Mais c'est un bel aperçu du dynamisme de cette ville qui se construit essentiellement grace aux privés. Il faut étendre ce travail, pas seulement à Yaoundé, mais aussi Buéa, Limbè, Bafoussam, Bamenda, Garoua qui sont des villes d'un niveau d'urbanisation comparable à pas mal de capitales africaines. Et dire que tout cela est concentré au Cameroun.
