This worked on my rental. Thank goodness! Thus is much Better than other on-line suggestions (turn off car >30 min, pull the fuses, remove the battery cable, all hard reset options, etc.). I feel sorry for Chrysler owners that must deal with a major fault in a 21st century vehicle. FCA obviously never did true R&D on this infotainment system; apparently this is a common occurrence in FCA vehicles for a while. There is no excuse for a radio to stop working (including the associated a/c climate, and vehicle controls) in 2024! What a sham(e) by Chrysler. This is why no one really buys American autos compared to decades ago. Hubris or laziness in practical engineering has allowed a horrible product to be sold to unwitting people...who want to support the brand...but are taken for a ride. There are better makes/models for comparable cost.
Keep in mind, this is just to reset the screen. This is not a complete factory reset on the Pacifica. A complete factory reset is not possible, even by pulling the fuse you can test the theory by doing all of that, then going back in and it will still remember your phone and your equalizer settings.
That didn't work on my 2020 Pacifica. Any other ideas? I also tried disconnecting the negative on main battery. That didn't work. My android auto and Carplay don't connect. the usbs charge the phones though. I also pull fuses 28 and 76.
Agree. I have same year. I tried everything and even replaced the media hub for $90 myself. Easy to do. But CarPlay still didn’t work. Then what do you know it started working again for a few days then it stopped again. Of course called local dealer, $175 just to diagnose, then over the weekend it’s been working fine. So canceled appointment. But I know it will stop again…….
@@glassr11yep all checked. Dealer mechanic of course had no clue. I did not have diagnostics done yet just today him the problem and the multiple things I tried. No charging appears as well
As I sit in this bullshit rental, you have saved me and my family from a long trip of silence. Kudos . Saving a family one video at a time.
Currently sitting in a bullshit rental trying to find help 😭
The Chrysler Pacifica is not bad. It’s just something to get used to and learn.
Ditto. Hard to imagine the ridiculous BS for a 2023 control unit...that is unique only to FCA.
Thank you so much!!! I was so upset, I thought my rental car was tripping!! This was extremely helpful 👏🏽
Very helpful. I can confirm that it works on Chrysler Pacifica 2023.
This worked on my rental.

That worked….good gracious how aggravating this issue was 😂. Luckily this was my rental
Woohoo! Held the volume button for 30 seconds and got our system back on in the rental! Thank you!
Glad to help
It worked for me only after going into settings on iPhone and selecting “forget this car” and doing what you said. Thank you 🙏
Sounds like a common issue. Had this happen to me within 5 hours of renting this car. Thank you
Yup super common and very annoying
Worked great. Thank you.
Thank you so much! So very helpful
Thanks for saving our trip as well. Could not get directions on the dumb screen to work on the rental.
I’m glad to help. How was the trip?

Does this also work for Android auto connection problems?
❤
If you’re in the rental… DO THIS NOW!

How do you connect to the Chrysler app? I can’t find this QR code on the screen the app is looking for!
Aaa..hmmm! Why would anyone want to download an app from the same company that can't install a reliable control unit????
No good. Touchscreen suddenly stopped responding to touch. How do you fix that issue?
You have to press both the volume and the turner knob in bonehead. Not just the volume
That did not work either on my 2020 ltd Pacifica. I held it for quite awhile. Should I hold them down for 10 minutes!?
Tried it several times. Holding volume for long time did not re set screen. At least 2020 limited Pacifica. Before they had wireless carplay
Holding both volume and tuner did nothing as well. Btw
Find mirroring in settings. Make sure the box is checked.

Doesnt work in 2020 Pacifica
I owe you my life Tom, thank you for saving my road trip 🫶🏻
