Thanks Dean a sterling effort once again! I'm unsure about Magie at the moment as I think it is one of those B-M songs that I need to listen to multiple times to digest properly. So much going on (as in many of their songs) and as you say we don't have the studio version yet. I'm sure I will come around eventually and of course it will become one in my long list of favourites 😀. I really am extremely curious about how they will keep the standard up after the epic Unseen World?
I'm with ya on this song. I need the studio version before I make my judgment. I'm gonna assume I will end up loving it because that's good it always happens haha
It's been fun to watch your progression on how well you've been making these. Keep it up my guy, you've given me a great playlist to play in the background when i play final fantasy games
Thanks for the compliment! Yes, as I've become more comfortable with the Cakewalk DAW over the past couple years, I've been able to greatly improve the tones of all of my virtual instruments. And Kanami keeps giving me great challenges!
Yeah i agree with Graham, great MIDI once again, Dean, but "Magie" isn't a grab & shake you straight away song. It's more of a grower like "Hate?" that has already become my fave live performance vid by B-M.😁 Don't beat me up, i tell truths & only truths :)
@@grahamblank8367 No worries & yes they do grow on you. "Magie" isn't one of my "Must hear" songs yet but then neither was Hate? ranking only 4th for me on "Unleash" :)
I was watching this on the YokoAri DVD last night and it occurred to me: it's rather common for some B-M studio songs to become much more liked as live versions, but it does seem like songs that get debuted live don't really get a lot of love from fans until a studio version is released... but then fans prefer the live version. Obviously "Onset" is an exception, but also, unlike any other song, never got a studio recording (that we know of). It's almost as if the studio versions are the training wheels so that we then have a framework around which to fully appreciate the live versions.

Gotta say, great choices on each 'voice'!
Now I gotta check out the live of this again! 😎🤘
I think this is a track where the studio version will be significantly better than the live.
Like Dice and Blooming.

Thanks for backing me up Gary. The growers often become the best songs mate!

Not every song is going to be one of the 50 songs in your Band-Maid Top 10.
very nice!

Good points.
So you're saying this might get an update when the new album is released? ;)
No. I never update my MIDIs. 😂
@@DeanF_MIDI Never ever! 😂
