      You have to really be a basketball fan to know about rekeROY! lol 😂 I definitely remember those days these guys don't even get mentioned that is the sad thing about it. Definitely legit on the court before the Kyries and Steph curry's today. Today's players are nice but in this era they would have had more competition you remember Steph was around then but was not getting talked about as much I used to love the guard game back then

      Kings should've surrounded him with shooting instead they signed Samuel Dalembert and drafted Cousins, two paint clogging bigs. Spencer Hawes was actually a decent 3 point shooter so Evans had a lot more spacing to work with in his rookie season vs sophomore year. They also traded Kevin Martin a very good offball shooter for Carl Landry..Kangz prime days

      i know this comment is old, but man it sucks to remember what his potential was back then. just bad luck really. kings organization clearly cant handle such talent. then they ban him for weed, and soon after allowed it in the game. showed much more potential than a lot of the future all stars in more recent drafts, but will never get the chance to spring how he once could have. shows how much luck plays a factor in life.
      When he comes back, he should just become a sixth man on a great team, win sixth man of the year and become a real x factor in a championship run

    It doesn't seem much, but his overall game improved a lot this year. He was moving w/o the ball, his shot selections were better, and he made a decent percentage of his J. His pick n roll also improved as well as the variety of his passes. I hope he has put his rookie season in the pass and come back next year with an even more refine game. Maybe model his game with a mixture of Wade and Lebron.

    I think if this dude had a system built around him specifically for his development he would easily be in the top 15 right now. Plus he's only 23 years old and in my opinion has a higher roof than most of the players in the league. He has all the tools to be elite on both offence and defense.

  • @ShadomanG
    @ShadomanG 10 років тому +1

    Man I swear this is a BAD man. There must be something about that #13 because Evans & James Harden get to the rim at ease. The best in the league in my opinion alongside James & Durant.
    I wish Tyreke would start going to the hole MORE often & play Pg again like the early days here such as Sacramento. Glad to see him doing well again, but I think he would fit in great w/the Lakers. They could use a Pg like this man

    He has the smoothest eurostep in basketball. Not as effective as Wade's or Ginobli's (used to be), but it flows perfectly when he does it.

    Was kinda disappointed in Tyreke's lack of development after that sensational rookie year he had, but it looks like he's finally found his footing with the Pelicans this season. I just wish he stopped concentrating on being a jump shooter and just take the ball to the damn hole everytime like Lebron and Harden do so well. Plenty of time to work on a jumper once that explosive athleticism finally goes. If he sticks to his primary strength as a slasher/post player, him, Anthony Davis, and Eric Gordon (if he finally licks the injury bug) are gonna make a dynamite trio for that New Orleans team down the road...

  • @DemiRonin
    @DemiRonin 11 років тому

    Man Sac has such a talented team, they've had so many good players the last 2-3 years. They just need a good coach that can put them in a good system. Hopefully they can keep tyreke and their new coach will lead them to a positive win season. I guess the pelicans want him as a 2 guard? Pelicans will have an awesome team this year if they get him.

    Absolutely. I think he will break out in New Orleans if Eric Gordon misses time. He'll probably win 6th man if they don't start him. He's arguably more explosive than Kobe and KD have ever been. I'd put him up there with Wade, Westbrook and Rose in terms of his athleticism. Leaving Sacramento is the best thing for him.

    There are problems with Evans, not only the Kings. They had one of the worst teams in the NBA back then but it didn't stop Evans from averaging 20+5+5, his averages dropped considerably every year, except he was shooting better this season (which is explained that he's shooting less).
