Dirk is one of the coldest jumpshooting scorers in nba history.....but damn them travels on that little turn around fade away lol good mix

For most people who say that he travels when he does that spin one-legged fade (left side of the baseline), no, he does not. When he posts up, he does that aggressive backdown. Before he spins, one dribbles, then two steps as he spins, fades and scores.
I study every move he does and I too do that fade, and I swear I don't travel.
Also for the people saying he travels don't know basketball that much, He does not travel much, He catches the ball in the post, One dribble, (Which you can do once you catch the ball in the post) But after that one dribble notice he keeps his pivot foot planted until the fadeaway, That's Just Footwork for days!

You couldn't tell me that if Dallas got one more star like free agents to be Carmelo Anthony, Or Kevin Love that they wouldnt win it all considering they took the spurs to 7 games with just Dirk and Ellis Down the stretch mainly, Ive always felt like they've been one piece a way, probly not gonna happen but if they brought back Tyson chandler and signed Camrelo it would be over!!

***** it's not false either. gonna be a beautiful day when people realize that these claims are a matter of opinion. not to mention if we're talking in terms of CAREER accomplishments, i would certainly take dirk over durant. dirk carried a franchise his entire career and eventually brought them a title. not to mention he's had an incredible influence on how the game is played, how the 4 is played, and what a big guy can be to a basketball team. all the while durant (while being one of the most prolific scorers we've ever seen) has yet to prove he can win with all-stars at his side. not saying that durant can't win or that he won't and i know his career is still young; on the contrary i actually believe that he WILL win eventually and i'm a fan of his, but the disrespect that dirk gets is laughable, especially when you consider that the greats of the game have all proclaimed him one of the top 15-20 players to ever play. have a debate but remove the word "true" from your argument because every bit of discussions like these is subjective. so, in my OPINION as well as pedro's, dirk>durant. you wanna disagree go right ahead but neither one of us is right or wrong

Dirk has better stats anyways, his true shooting percentage (3pt+FG+FT/3) is second only to MJ. Do some research and learn more about the game of basketball and how much Dirk has forever changed the PF position before you say someone is "on [Dirk's] dick", Dirk could be considered the greatest scorer of all time because he can shoot the three, free throw, mid-range and has elite post work. KD has never had a season were he has averaged 50% from FG, 40% from the deep and 90% from the line

We have moron for days commenting here. Everyone travels accidentally everyone once in while. Due to the momentum of the game or just by making contact with the opposing defender. That turn around step back fade away is all foot work, but ya young bloods wouldn't know anything about that.
