beautiful job, I'm restoring a 30' sports coupe, have built a pick-up , and am also working on a 29' firetruck, I find it to be relaxing to work on them with my dad in our shop it's alot of fun to see what you have accomplished when it's all done.

Wonderful job. This video is inspiring me to keep going on my own '29 restoration. Sitting in a barn since '61 in Ohio.
I got you beat on mouse nests and bodies!! ;-)
    Thank you for posting.

labor, parts and engine work, paint & body work have to be near 15k to 18k or more to do this professionally. The tudor is still one of the most desirable Model As to own. By adding seat belts, and cast iron brake drums, these become very safe on the road IF you can keep up with traffic which remains a challenge. This video is a good example of what it takes to do one of these from start to end. Having the skill, a place to work, you must have never ending dedication and money.. Nice job!

This was a very clean sedan. minimal rust out. There was some block sanding to take out some waves, but definitely not the worst body we have had.

I'm more of the model A speed than the modern internet speed, I'll have to get my future Mrs. to make one with her fancy cell phone with camera it's an L G phone, i'm lucky to run a calculator and type on this thing ,, her 12yr old can run circles around me when it comes to electronic equipment , I also have a 49 f-6 firetruck I got running 2 wks ago that was sitting in the woods for more than 10 yrs, purrs like a kitten with 28,555 miles on it,rare find, cab is solid not much rust.

Do you feel like you are shaking hands with the past when you do work like this? The men who built this car are dancing when they watch this video!

A suggestion . . . . always wear safety glasses when running a grinder (or spinning wire brush).

I would highly highly recommend anyone taking any of these components down to bare metal, first etch the metal with OSPHO OR RUST MORT (that product goes by different brand names) ..It is vital to etch the metal and stop the rust!! I saw a guy spreading bondo over rust....MOST REGRETTABLE DOWN THE ROAD WHEN THAT RUST APPEARS and ruins a great paint job!!

I restored my own '30 Model A Coupe so I know what's involved. But this tudor didn't seem to have any rustout or even dents to take out, Even the frame looked perfect to start with. Is that right?
