Kiss the chrome goodbye and hello rust on the end of that pipe. That guy’s drill is on way too high a speed for hole sawing. Needs to put into low speed and take it easy with some lubricant or cutting compound. Might save some chrome and the teeth on his hole saw.
same thing here, its BS. only a 4-5 inch section of pipe comes out, i believe the baffle with holes is welded inside to prevent its removal IN REAL LIFE.
Can anyone comment on whether or not this affects the backpressure of the exhaust therefore affecting how the bike runs, especially over the long term?
The new W 800 has a tuned stock exhaust that has a real nice sound
Very true I have a 2022 w800 it sounds great already.
sound after the removal maybe?? goodness...
Yes not that loud
This is painful to watch
5 years later and it still hurts. Some people don’t deserve nice things.

Tried this on mine and they wouldn't come out, its like there is another weld on the other end keeping it for coming out, only comes out like 2/3s
Mine only came out 2/3 also and is only about 4” long...still can’t get them out
@@eliaspond7571 I had house a reciprocating saw with an 18 inch metal blade to cut must of mine out and hammered what was left back in unfortunately

@@billc1811 I agree I think it was welded on both ends, so far after 650 miles no rattling sound is a little deeper not much though.
Corrosion issues after the "surgery"?
no corrosion
No corrostion but air / fuel mixture problem...

Effects 100%, once removed you need 1200 bucks to reinstalled a new computer in order to adjust air / fuel mixture
