That brass test happened to me in Dallas TX. I had 25 dollars & gave it to a person for a worthless piece of junk. I've dated worthless pieces of junk in the past because I didn't know my worth. Thank GOD The LORD told me & showed me I am worth dying for!!
I learned to reject instant gratification especially when it comes from others suggestions and recommendations. 1 Corinthians 14:40 let all things be done decently and in order.
R C and Sister Lisa,, thanks to both of you for your hard work and for making a difference in the lives of us striving to do better. I am a 73 year older lady. I love to do my best. Here in Augusta, GA.
I really wanted a child. At 20 I was dating somebody and I wanted to start a family with him but it was like God was blocking it. My dad told me that he isn’t a man that I should start a family with because he’ll leave. It took me a while to let go. Now I’m 25 and have my daughter. I’m glad it didn’t happen the way it happened because God most definitely had a better and amazing plan and I would’ve hated the person I would have been at 20 with a child vs 25 with a child
Thank you 🙏 Bishop Blakes! This is a wonderful message, and constant reminder to us all. Thanks 😊 for the spirit- filled work you & Sister Blake’s are doing for us! God bless you! ❤️
I have a video request from you Pastor! You have been such a blessing to me! When I see other people trying to give ungodly relationship advice and how to deal with the struggles of life and relationships, I refer the viewers in the comment section to check you out! I know they won’t be disappointed! Can you do a video on how to handle betrayal (specifically from adultery) from a spiritual perspective please? Thank you in advance! 🙏🏼
Your wisdom is wonderful. My only concern is is that while the metaphor of the teaching of Esau is important, I am unsure that using this specific passage is wise because on the face value of it it would make is seem as if someone who is having the basic need of food is then considered instant gratification and thereby downpaying a basic necessity as if it is somehow wrong. Again I will say, the deeper wisdom you have given through it is wonderful and needed as there are many who seek that instant gratification and are meant to heed your wisdom. I just feel perhaps a mention in this that basic neccessity of the body requiring food to sustain itself especially after what Esau experienced is meant to be validated. Thank you for your wisdom.
