I was a student in 2004-2006, we were in the stands when there weren't many people in the stands. By the time I graduated, it had become a different stadium (for the better). It was crazy seeing the stands when this entire run began, then being in the (temp) stands for that Stanford Super Regional (both games were different levels of magic, and I was in the outfield stands watching), and then comparing that to what Goss Stadium has become. Heck, I was excited about the outfield scoreboard happening.
I remember watching the '06 one with my cousin, UNC pops it up, we both jump to our feet, "GET UNDER IT! GET UNDER IT! YES!!! WE F***ING WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!" Then in '07, with my cousin again, obviously not AS climactic since we were up 9-3, but the called third strike, I remember saying, "Nice strike 3...oh wait, he's out...OH WAIT, THAT'S THE THIRD OUT! HOLY S**T! WE WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN!!! 2018, after the third out, my then 4 year old is seeing me cheer and stands in front of me, "Daddy, we won! We won!" GO BEAVS!
