There is literally no difference. A guard, an officer, they all operate under PSB and are recognized by the state of Texas as Armed Security Guards. They make 10 bucks an hour, they work almost 100 hours a week just to make ends meet, just because they may spend an entire pay check on a firearm, plate carrier, body camera and other bells and whistles, doesn't make them any different from other guards in other guard companies. How do I know? I worked for them for almost 3 years.
@@harshoperator That's crazy, cause I work armed security in Austin, and make $17hr. Maybe because the cost of living is a bit higher. Either way, no one is going to become rich making this kind of money, but it's more than enough for me to get by so I don't mind it at all.
@@harshoperator That's not necessarily, there's a difference between a security officer and security guard...And I know some people there that make 20hr+
Those are not police officers and those are not police dogs. These people are security guards, and those dogs are their personal pets. They have not received any formal “K-9” training.
You’re right in saying they aren’t police. However, there are many facets of the private sector that utilize canines trained to law enforcement standards and functions.
So are the dogs for decoration?? Hahaha This security company is a joke! None of these security guards were former police officers... I'll call complete BS on that one. Also, I cant wait for DPS to catch some of these wannabe police officers with those guns holstered on their thighs like that! Hahahaha
There is nothing DPS can do about their holsters Lol only thing that can get them in trouble is if they don't have a commissioned officer level 3 or 4 license on their person when they do the check.
Lol as a former HEB Security Officer myself that worked for a different company I can definitely tell you not all of Seals guys were former Police and Military some only had prior experience as Security Officer they poached some of our guys to work for them and they had no prior Police or Military experience
The dogs are trained to protect their handler if they’re in danger by apprehending the aggressor. It’s still armed security, just with a dog. K9s are no joke.
With that type of statement I’d you’re probably looking for trouble or provocative reason to use your piece. You’re the type of individual that everyone in the 2A community needs to keep distance from.
So sad that this is what this world has come to. But very much needed in Corpus because it's ghetto AF.
Walmart needs this
Beautiful dog
These are Security Officers. Not Security Guards.A K-9 Unit makes a huge difference in the field. Bork Bork Nom Nom
Thank you!
Hahahha they are rent a cops!
