Some of their older kits seem really cool. The other day I went to a rummage shop and someone had donated an old toolbox full of leather supplies and two Tandy Leather kits no longer being sold. The one I purchased was an "Early Times Handbag Kit" that would look great for holding muzzleloading supplies and stuff like that. I got this kit and the toolbox for $40. The toolbox also had a kit inside that was never completed. It's a groomer kit that comes with a comb, nail clippers, etc. and appears to still have all the pieces for me to finish it. Then there was a starter kit that says on the box, "Let's do leathercraft in the style of the old west" and the box is about three or four times as big as that Realleather Crafts starter kit that stores currently sell. The rummage shop is asking $25 for it and i'm very tempted because one of the 8 projects is a Tom thumb purse and buying one in today's market is about $10.
