Thank you so much! Thanks to your video, I was able to disassemble my laser printer, remove the fuser, remove the cover for one of the fuser rollers and peel out the iron on page that had gotten melted and wrapped around it. You just saved me having to take it in to be professionally serviced and buying a new fuser unit. My printer is less than 3 months old, so still has tons of life left in it. I was so used to ink jet printers that I didn't even think about printing an iron on patch for my Freeze dried candy business aprons. Lesson learned! Most of my friends were telling me the printer was junk. HA! It's working good as new.
Thank you! After replacing the fuser unit, I did not know how to reset the parts life. Of course, no instructions came with the part itself, so this was extremely helpful. I'll need you once again when the laser unit comes in. I have the Brother HL-L6400DW.
Thank you dear! It is very usefull!! Can you give me an information about the HOT CYLINDER of the printer? Is this coated by a think layer of somethink like paper? I have the BROTHER 5350DN and it makes a narrow line along thw A4 paper without printing in this. I noticed that in surface of the hot cylinder there is something very think like black paper which has removed at this point. I am not sure whether this is normal or there is something stacked after some years of printer use. I remember from the past 30 years that the HOT CYLINDER is a cylinder of glass without of any coat... Am I right?
Fantastic video. Could you make a video on how to adjust color setting for the MFC 9340CDW? My colors do not truly represent especially oranges come out red. Thank you 🙏🏻
I have an older, MFC, is the fuser changing process pretty much the same? Also, I was told the fuser is the the reason why the toner is not adhering to the paper and smudges off.
Hadley, I have a Brother L6200DW and I've put in a new drum even cleaned it again, cleaned the fuser and I'm still getting marks on the center of my Letter sized pages. Surprisingly nothing happens to the legal size copies. What am I missing here? My Printer is almost 4 years old. Thanks, Andre
Do you happen to have a video replacing the fuser on the printer HL-L6200DW? My printer keeps wrinkling the paper. Started with the first page but now it does the same to any single page.
Here is the part # for Brother D01SE6001, D008AK001, D00V9L001 fuser. ONLY use OEM/GENUINE fuser unit otherwise you will have issues..... trust me! Put the part # in for your search on Ebay and you should find one.
