im sold on the mesh chairs, my back sweats when sitting for even short periods of time in chairs. Been using office chairs, i love the lumbar support added in with the mesh.
I have to say they look awesome...But probably as no surprise not everyone can afford the top of the line one so I will be getting the one in the middle...Thanks for your review! It really is nice to find a chair with great quality and a 10yr warranty :) Thanks again for your time to make your videos, I really do enjoy them! Nothing like a cup of coffee and a video from HardwareCanucks
and do you think that Dx or anny other gaming chairs are really worth 350-400$??? just a regular chair with tons of padding, just because of his looks people think they are good, they are ok, but not worth 400$, 200 max and thats a high price
+Daniel Vasquez The difference is that Herman Miller is a huge company, with lots of supporters. ESPN has all Herman Miller Ergo chairs for $1500+ on set. All good office building have Herman Millers. If I'm getting an ergonomic chair, I'm getting it from Herman Miller. Not a "game" ergo chair lol
+BongzAHOY The quality is not so absurdly high that it justifies 500+ dollars for a chair. As I said elsewhere, just because everyone us doing it, doesn't make it right. They sell these at such high prices because people like you are willing to pay that much for what could otherwise be reasonably priced.
@@ralentinovossi8081 Ive actually got myself this chair and my aeron still outlasts it. The metal squeaks on the verta and the mesh has gotten looser than my 10 year old aeron.
That 350 SE is a gorgeous chair. I have never seen a mesh chair like that that looks so nice. That VR chair is also really silly, I am just going to say that. Really cool and Sci-fi looking, but silly. I want to see a chair set up with full racing gear, pedals underneath, controls to the sides, and a wheel in front. Also, it would be cool if the chair supported force feedback, and surround speakers, as some gaming chairs do. A final note that would make the chair even more ridiculous is if the chair had some kind of VR backpack PC attached to the back in order to have the chair be one closed system that had everything in it (Except I guess it would have to be connected to power, but those VR backpacks do have big batteries, so I hear.)
Vertagear make beautiful chairs, they also do not use cold cure foam, which is why they foam is so much softer than their competitors. I just ordered a Vertagear Sl2000, I am so pumped! The chair I have now is garbage.
THATS HOW FLUSHA HITS HIS SHOTS!?!?!?!? OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD. I KNEW IT WAS BECAUSE HE HAD A GOOD GAMING CHAIR!
I can see a lot of you are surprised by the price tag, but I think thid is a decent price because those chairs seem to be very ergonomic even if they are advertised as gaming chairs. Chairs made by Ergohuman or Herman Miller can go up in the thousands because they are ergonomic chairs, and I think thats why these Vertagear chairs cost this much
Good quality chairs whether for office or gaming use can easily be upwards of a grand. I'd consider $400 for a high quality chair a very good price personally.
I've used mesh chairs for about 10 years now, and I've no issues with durability. And actually they last longer than none mesh chairs, because the cushions start cracking or fading. Also, mesh has way better air flow so I don't stick to the chair or sweat.
If it had a proper headrest, and had option armrests I would consider buying it. I have a DxRacer and I like you can remove the armrests, and it feels really sturdy, but its a bit too warm, something a bit more lightweight would be more suitable. EDIT: oh, the more expensive one has headrest nvm. I still don't approve of the triggers on the armrests, as I dont like armrests (unless I am watching from a distance). I usually rest my arms on the table or on my lap.
Oh hey this chair looks pretty cool, I have been looking for a new one recently... OH JESUS THAT PRICING NEVER MIND GOING BACK TO THE $50 OFFICE CHAIR.
Sorry, I just simply don't trust "gaming chairs" from these various companies, while some features here are interesting for the most part I get the impression they're just a gimmick. When there are far better chairs in this price range such as Herman Miller it's just too difficult to justify stuff like this when it comes to comfort.
How does it hold up against DXRacer? I'm really digging the mesh, as heat is an issue for me. VertaGear racing series (PL6000 ergo racing style gaming office chair) has reviews stating they're falling apart. at $400+ i hope this isn't across their entire product line.
I am not able to reach vertagear website just now! I'd like to see if I can buy one of the mesh built chairs shown here for less than $600 USD. Is it this possible?
can someone explain why you would spend over 500euros on a chair? i've already sat in one of those expensiv drx racers and other marks and they just feel amazing but when i got home again and sat down in my 80$ chair i always thought that they are not worth it. also what means ergonomic chair?
Seriously? 599$ for the 275?! 699$ for the 350?! 899$ for the SE?! I'll just get an ikea chair with the same comfort and durability, also a GTX 1080 just to hang on my wall than buying that over priced chair.
the 350 looks ok.. due to the steel frame but the other one will snap without a doubt... lesson learned from my 100 dollar chair (MidBack Black Mesh Swivel Task Chair on amazon) back in the day
if you had told me the price of these chairs at the beginning i would've closed the video immediately. i thought since they are mesh based they would be more affortable than dx racers.
You dont need "gaming" chairs but you want to get a really good chair that supports your back and neck so in the future so you dont develop spine problems. Hunchback, forward head posture and so on.
+Quing Cruz 1: It's Dmitry, 2: Dx Racers are cheaper, and don't look like an Ikea chair. This company would be paying less than $75 per chair, and they expect people to pay $700? They dont make you a better player, they are not even that much more comfortable than I can get for $80.
Of course you don't need a gaming chair, but as @Darzo said; you need a good chair. Chairs are so underrated when it comes to gaming, but they are actually very important.

Hang on a minuets they expensive as hell! I bought a gamming chair that looks like a dx racer for £75 ( around $100) I've had it for 4 months and it's just awsome
+Swagopher Yolombus raise your chair hight. If that doesn't work try lowering it. If that doesn't work try buying a cheap lumbar support. The lumbar support will push you forward and take some of the pressure off the legs. Legs going numb in a chair is typically caused by misuse of a chair not the chair itself.
I'm also curious of that gaming chair's name too lol my friend bought a gaming chair like that as well for 60 bucks but he bought it from some pawn/antique shop
+RedTailTV yeah no problem man, it's called the swivel desk chair by BTM, to get it go Amazon and just type in BTM gaming chair it's currently £86, about $110
Now this is real gaming chair. I don't know why people call those dxracer and other sort gaming chair. Those are literally racing cars bucket seats, not chair for household.
Love the mesh, but the price is a little too high tbh. Compared to SteelCase, Herman Miller, and ErgoHuman - you can get a much more ergonomic chair. Maybe I'm missing something, but I hope to see a review of these chairs some day.
59.9 for that blue chair right? good becauseI just bought 4 sli 1080 kappa . with those ninety nines you can buy a Herman Miller Embody Chair or something with nines but close to this lol
Best chairs for gaming are Lay-Z-Boy chairs with your legs extended out in front of you. Your heart, and your legs will love you for it, especially if you're diabetic like me. I've been gaming like this for years, love it! Wouldn't play any other way!
The "triggers" are neat. but for personal use you tend to set the chair position right once, and leave it like that. And even then I'd rather save money and reach a bit lower if I have to adjust it..
Everyone talking about price because it's called "gaming" this is a real chair worth getting. Worth 800$? No but maybe 400$ it's a real ergo chair that's worth spending more money on not because it's "gamer" but because it's a good ergo chair
these chairs are just premium office chairs with some color. The regular premium office chairs are usually 250+. I'm not paying 899 for some red on my chair.
Have you guys seen the Herman Miller Aeron, Embody, or Steelcase Leap? All $1k+ USD. If you spend a significant amount of time in a chair for work or gaming, it pays to have something comfortable. Plus with a 10 year warranty, you shouldn't have to buy anything else. If you break it down , $89 a year. I bet you spend more than that in games and peripherals. These aren't really my style, but I appreciate them going with higher end features and materials.
+taief miah I think it's more reasonable for ppl to spend less time in a 50-100 dollar chair and be more active rather than pay 599-899 for a fucking chair and remain lazy and inactive. Health concerns go away if you take breaks often from sitting and exercise more.
Tone Tech and Gaming say that to a person who works in trading etc and coding. A lot of people careers mean that having to be at a computer for that long to do work is inevitable
taief miah I agree 100 percent with that, but there are cheaper chairs that can get the job done. That is a fact. If it's in a person's budget I say go ahead.
the problem with these chairs is that it wont let me sit on my legs etc. i have to sit 'normal' on it for it to be any comfy... cant they make one of these but with the seat and backrest connected or something also where the hell is the headrest? also i could probably 3d print a chair cheaper than these the way i wanted mine. but that joystick chair looks interesting for starcitizen. i alredy got that exact joystick aswell
Give me an office chair that can be both for PC, console & TV. Then you might get my attention. Don't get me wrong these are great PC chairs. But they're not all that comfortable I find. They do give you proper back and spine support which is important on the PC. But they're really not designed for gaming in long marathon sessions. Friend of mine has one of these at his place. Thought I would try it out just to see how it would work. I can say that it certainly is comfortable for shorter periods of time. My friend told me they have better chairs but they're around $5,000 lol. Yea sure let me write you a check lol. Not all gaming chairs are garbage. You just have to know where to look for the better ones. Just avoid the chairs that have pillows and opt for built-in lumbar support.
Dxracers are shit products, and so is this, its just a ripoff of herman miller. Go get a real herman miller, they have a great warranty and last forever.
ROFL I have a Herman Miller embody as I mentioned above....go look it up jackass. Money is not the object, quality, warrenty and most of all back lumbar support if whats most important to me, I have CT and most chairs cause me pain after 20-30 mins.
Also I said DXRACERS were shit, in response to the guy above, This chair is FAR better than a dxracer (racing seats are NOT ergonomic and will damage your spine over time). However the 275/350 vertagear IS a ripoff of the Herman Miller Aeron office chair which has been around much longer and are the ones that actually spent the research dollars to redesign the office chair for proper ergonomics MANY years ago. You bought a knockoff, a pretty decent knockoff, but still a knockoff.
i'm in the process of selling it and and getting a full leather Stressless Mayfair chair though, i like the chair but i wanna get a full leather lounger.
HI, I'm a fat ass person, not proud of it at all (actually, I'm very ashamed of it) and I doubt that mesh seat will be able to handle my butt. I'm not mocking the video (since it is an awesome one) but I do hope we see versatility (other choices than mesh for the seating) when they are released. I'm really love the mesh for back support since it is very comfortable. Also, thank you HWC for the hard work on the coverage of computex, we really appreciate it.
How to make gaming chairs
1. Add bright neon colors to a regular office chair
2. Increase the price tag by 300%
3. ???
4. Profit

Totally not sponsored 😐
the problem with these chairs is that it wont let me sit on my legs etc. i have to sit 'normal' on it for it to be any comfy... cant they make one of these but with the seat and backrest connected or something
also where the hell is the headrest?
also i could probably 3d print a chair cheaper than these the way i wanted mine.
but that joystick chair looks interesting for starcitizen. i alredy got that exact joystick aswell
Is it available to buy
I was really interested in these... until you got to the price
350 parts is a cool marketing strategy, but does that chair come assembled or am i losing a day to this thing?
Finally a chair I can fart through without tilting...
& here i thought dxracers were flipping expensive
Dxracers are shit products, and so is this, its just a ripoff of herman miller. Go get a real herman miller, they have a great warranty and last forever.
its not shit, i have the 275, its a quality chair, your just hating cuz you cannot afford one
The trigger type of chair I've been looking for. DxRacer are too 'gamer-y' for me. Too bad they are astronomically expensive.
When did Abstergo start making chairs?
HI, I'm a fat ass person, not proud of it at all (actually, I'm very ashamed of it) and I doubt that mesh seat will be able to handle my butt. I'm not mocking the video (since it is an awesome one) but I do hope we see versatility (other choices than mesh for the seating) when they are released. I'm really love the mesh for back support since it is very comfortable.
Also, thank you HWC for the hard work on the coverage of computex, we really appreciate it.
My grandma's chair will work just fine
Anyone else feel an Armada vibe from the VR chair
+Sonne Schein I think it's a concept designh
Where i can buy VERTAGEAR 275 ?
