A couple of coats of 'Sadolin Classic' in 'Natural' colour should keep that door in good nick for years. Do two or three strips top to bottom at a time, keeping the wet edge going.
Bird Brand clear wood preserver is fab for retaining wood colour and preserving it. The 205…if Rob can keep it… it’ll be worth double in 5-10 years time!

I use oil on my doors and the colour is retained but it does need doing regularly say once a year and I’ve not got a spray gun but I’ve watched someone at a stable the other day and he sprayed the oil on and he said it would last at least a year or two. You probably have better builders merchants to get better value for money than I would just buying for my house bits such as fences etc.
Not sure about those screen buckets, appear hard on pins. Probably took much soil in that pile to be effective. Stihl engine hay, bet it a bugger on the pull start 🤣
85% allsorts of goodies left in that pile then Olly 🤦🏼♂️I would do the doors with a couple of coats of clear Sadolin varnish. It will darken them a tiny bit but will give them decent protection from the elements.
That door won't go gray if you keep up with treatment. I personally prefer oil on my timber work. As I've said before carpenter by trade and farmer in my dreams.👍

Osmo uv protection oil will stop the sun from greying off the timber doors, you use this with larch and cedar a lot.
I'd oil the barn doors, looks great and easy to put another coat on every now and again.
