True. He was much more interesting than Ra's Al Ghul imo. I think Nolan recognized that later on, which is why he kept bringing him back in the sequels
Yeah but this implies he’s possessed and has control over that which possesses him, which of course isn’t true because it’s simply a crappy mask coupled with a nightmarish hallucinogenic.

Wow! In that 9 minute's on screen made such an impact. I think he's perfect as the Scarecrow. I think the writer's and everyone involved with this Batman are genius! They had him play an educated psychopath. Brilliant!
I remember watching Batman Begins as an 8 year old back in late june 2005, when Cillian Murphy's character scared me a lot in the scene where he reveals himself as Scarecrow with Falcone. Fast forward, I saw him in 28 Days Later and again I was scared for his performance. Now as an adult, I appreciate him a lot and its one of my favorite actors of all time.
All things considered the moment Crane takes off his glasses should have been the que Falconie that things were about to get serious. However most when the take off their glasses they go stone faced, Crane was already stone faced instead he takes off the glasses and begins to show emotion, definitely not all there almost like a kid about to play with a new toy.

He can certainly help you face your fears, that's for sure. But yeah, apart from his penchant for doing very immoral tests, I think he's a good doctor/psychologist.
@@minihalkoja590 Yeah, it's actually a shame that he'd use his genius for evil/take it too far because I'd imagine in smaller less potent doses, his fear toxin would be useful for people doing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Exposure Response Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. In a safe and stable environment, being able to simulate fear and help a patient train their nervous system to respond differently to it would be hugely beneficial in the psychiatry world.
😮 I can't believe I never noticed how little screen time he had in this film. I could've sworn it was longer! Cillian is such a wonderful actor. Thank you for making this compilation!🩷

Murphy deserved the best supporting actor Oscar for this movie. Not the main character Oscar for Oppenheimer.
