"Patients suffering delusional episodes often focus their paranoia on an external tormentor. Usually one conforming to Jungian archetypes. In this case, a scarecrow.”
I remember watching Batman Begins as an 8 year old back in late june 2005, when Cillian Murphy's character scared me a lot in the scene where he reveals himself as Scarecrow with Falcone. Fast forward, I saw him in 28 Days Later and again I was scared for his performance. Now as an adult, I appreciate him a lot and its one of my favorite actors of all time.
He can certainly help you face your fears, that's for sure. But yeah, apart from his penchant for doing very immoral tests, I think he's a good doctor/psychologist.
It's crazy he only had 9 minutes of screentime. He really should have been the main villain of the film.
He deserved more screen time.
@@z4lg0_4.7 now he is Oscar holder
I'm 9 minutes be made himself ABSOLUTELY PINNACLE to the movie
Always loved Batman’s fear toxin visual, I wished they called back to it in the other movies

Making sure the Peaky Blinders can take over Falcone's operations once he's arrested.

"How are you going to get me to keep my mouth shut?"
"You will be subjugated by fear...by order of the Peaky Blind...err...I mean Scarecrow."

I know I am
I can’t believe this movie came out almost 20 years ago.
This dude has range like a rail gun.
"I don't want to know."
"...Yes, you do."
Falcone can read him like a book
You stopped the video too soon and left out the scene with Scarecrow on the horse.
“The only thing to fear is fear itself!”
Cillian Murphy is a real legend 🙌!
He's so sassy lmao
Seeing these scenes without music is cool.

This is Batman's year one 👍🏻💯 great film..i like it a bit better than dark Knight.. except for (joker) Heath was brilliant.
is it crazy that I kinda wouldn't mind him being my therapist?

3:45 "Yup, I'm outta here"
I remember first seeing scare crow in the batman film, but Jesus christ, talk about scary ass villain
Also the fact they put Zsasz in the film at all is mind blowing! Wish he got more screen time but man fucking Zsasz was in the Nolanverse!!!
Murphy deserved the best supporting actor Oscar for this movie. Not the main character Oscar for Oppenheimer.
I like how he says "boo" when spraying Batman at 3:56.
There are so many wacko shrinks..

I wonder how humiliating it is to act in a movie with a famous actor's surrogate mother....I can only guess by the disgust with which he looks at her
