Getting hair braided in Africa. My experience getting butt length knotless braids in Lagos Nigeria. This african hair braiding salon is a more local laid back type of setting compared to the hair salons I have showed previously on my channel. I show you how these Nigerian African hair braiders braided my short 4c natural hair into small neat long knotless braids.A spin on the best rated and worst reviewed hair salon trend, this amazing experience would definitely fall under best reviewed hair salon for me. Hi Seun, please can you show us how you take care of your knotless braids for the entire month(s) you are carrying it for? Washing, spraying and cleaning it?

I have really coarse 4c hair and i can't really afford good/decent products so i just stick with washing and using a leave in conditioner. I'm currently saving up for Miracle shampoo, conditioner and deep conditioner
And can you help fellow Nigerians know the locally available products we can use for our natural hair especially for people who can't really afford to spend so much.

When I saw the baby on her back I smiled so hard because every time I get my hair done by a women from Africa they have a baby on their back or baby in the salon. Something about it always makes me feel so relaxed and at home

I’m Finnish and my hair is as straight as it can be but I love watching these hair videos! It’s very relaxing to see the whole process and learning more about African hair at the same time
I have a client from Nigeria and I was charging her $40 for crochet with loose hair. Eventually my price went up to $65 but she said the price was too much because shes used to paying 20$ for most styles in Nigeria. Its amazing how happy and patient everyone was and how much love they put into a $20 hairstyle❤
If your price was "too much" she could have pay for a flight to Nigeria and still pay more than u were charging. Different places, different prices.

Me too... I learned something new in this video.
Sometimes we put kerosene in a metal container with a lid, poke the top of the container to create a hole and then put a stove week(I honestly don't know what else to call it) inside the container. So the kerosene wets the week and in return when it's lit, it does the same job as the flaming cotton wool. Some people also use it instead of lanterns

Omigod , on a random note, that is SOOO true. Growing up in New York I used to think I had bad skin genetically. But EVERY TIME I go back to Nigeria my skin clears all the way up too(and I lose weight too without exercise or dieting 🤣). It really be your environment. I've been in Ivory Coast like 4 times, the last time was about 3/4 years ago. I honestly miss it, it's so different from this Western world I live in (I'm from Belgium).
