Larry Hagman and Linda Gray. 2 of the best actors to ever come together on screen as JR and Sue Ellen. All these years later and it still remains a joy to see their performances played out again. How I miss the days when television was this awesome. With thanks as always @DALLAS70 for this clip. Dallas lives on in memory.
Agree! Great acting will always remain ... GREAT huh especially with what we see nowadays. These legends were tremendous at their craft. Semper.Fidelis
@@richardedmiston3756 John Ross could still be Ray's kid though. He got with Sue Ellen the exact same episode John Ross was conceived and would've had the same match JR had as his half-brother....... I always waited for that to get revisited in a later season or even in the 2012 revival, but it never happened
Sue Ellen is really not very smart. Did she think JR would just let her walk off with a Ewing grandchild? Did she forget what happened to Valene and Lucy?
Agreed..... "You wouldn't do that to me." to the husband who was banging your sister. By this point, Sue Ellen should've left the door wide open when it comes to all the potential things JR WOULD do.
On this JR was right. The boy was better off staying with JR while Sue Ellen rebuilt her life if that were to be her choice. Children need stability and not running around with single mothers.
Nice of them to share this heated exchange with the 1yr old...... moments like these really explain how John Ross became such a "high-moraled, principled individual" in his adult life.
Towards the end of this season (which in my opinion was the best and he was the most devious) had a sort of darkness and ominous background music that all the other seasons didn’t have.

She acts with her eyes, she's absolutely amazing, the best actress on the show !
The way JR said “my son”! Gives me chills!
Same. Jr was in his prime here!!
Yeah and at first he thought that was Cliff Barnes child.

Dallas, the greatest show ever!!!
Sue Ellen thought she had one up on Ol’ J.R until he agreed to the divorce. I like how he said,
“Sue Ellen you been nothing but a headache to me.” 🤣🤣

Sue Ellen never should have even thought of taking that baby away from his loving family.
When it came to John Ross it brought out the fighting spirits in both J.R. and Sue Ellen.
Dallas will always be my favourite show 🙂
What episode and season is this?

@SaxonC that's for sure.
She deserved an emmy
Id say she definitely EARNED one somewhere along the way right!? Yes
