Wanda Stafford

Singer Wanda Stafford over the holidays in 2022 in San Francisco on the snare with bassist Doug Miller guitarist John Hoy. Wanda recorded "In Love for the Very First Time: Introducing Wanda Stafford" (1960) for Roulette. The date included a big band made up of the cream of New York session musicians, plus pianist Bill Evans.

This is really delightful. Bravo to Ms Stafford and her two bandmates. I confess I wasn't familiar with Wanda's work till I read about her on Marc Myers great JazzWax. But I am now a big fan!
