I consider myself an advanced knitter but have been intimidated to try brioche. Just now I checked out some UA-cam videos on the techinque, but they were all loooong and complicated seeming. Then I found yours! Short, sweet, to the point ... thank you so much!!!

I have struggled with brioche for years. Been knitting 24 years. This somehow makes it make sense. Thank you!!! ❤️

I am new to knitting (learned English style as a child but not knitted for almost 50 years!) and have used your videos to help me get to grips with Continental style - which I have now finally learned (although still slow!). I want to knit a scarf that uses brioche stitch and your video is fabulous! Thank you for your clear and easy to follow videos! :)

Your technique is the only understandable one I have found. Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorial!!

I started a brioche scarf and put it aside for about a year. When I picked it up just now I had completely forgotten how to do the brioche stitch! Thankfully I’d saved this video and you’ve taught me again 😊 Thanks!

Thank you for a concise easy tutorial! It is so difficult sometimes to find something that doesn’t ramble on and on. This is great! And I am a new subbie !!!!

You are an amazing knitter and the most didactic teacher I've seen on UA-cam!! MANY THANKS, REALLY!

  • @lllee3476

Thank you for this video and the tips! Knitting the selvedge at the sides helps keep the yarn overs in place and saves me from knitting a decorative edge.

Thank you for this! I knit a brioche scarf when I was beginning to knit... and now I'm trying a brioche sweater many years later and it's kicking my butt! Honestly I think not knowing what I was doing really helped haha

Where have you been all my knitting life?? LOVE your presentation, your clarity. Thank you!! (On my way to your other videos...)

  • @rexannb3710

Great easy to follow, clear, and well demonstrated stitch tutorial! THANK YOU for demystifying this lovely but seemingly difficult and intimidating (which you proved wrong!) stitch.

Oh my! I have tried brioche and was able to do it, but then got confused 🤷‍♀️. (Of course I had to try a complicated pattern, 😆). This is so simple! Thank you 😊!
